The Green Republic of Alcavia is a titanic, efficient nation, remarkable for its sprawling nuclear power plants, otherworldly petting zoo, and daily referendums. The compassionate, democratic population of 12.903 billion Alcavians hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Alcavia City. The average income tax rate is 78.2%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Alcavian economy, worth a remarkable 1,497 trillion aquils a year, is quite specialized and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Tourism, Book Publishing, and Retail. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 116,039 aquils, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

School nurse's offices feature full-service operating suites, museums offer moralization or your money back, descriptions of properties as "a stone's throw from the city centre" require a trebuchet to be true, and wind farms are erected on shuttered oil platforms. Crime is totally unknown. Alcavia's national animal is the wombat, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Alcavia is ranked 154,027^th in the world and 2,242^nd in The North Pacific for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 908.24 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
