The Federal Republic of Armbruster is a titanic, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Martina Mikulić with a fair hand, and renowned for its daily referendums, punitive income tax rates, and devotion to social welfare. The compassionate, democratic population of 12.322 billion Armbrusterians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Administration, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Stuttgart. The average income tax rate is 78.8%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Armbrusterian economy, worth a remarkable 1,226 trillion €s a year, is quite specialized and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Tourism and Book Publishing. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 99,556 €s, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

A suspicious number of John Smiths are known to donate to Armbrusterian politicians, official government guidance encourages binge behaviors, TV shows must meet strict ethnicity quotas, and a third of Armbrusterians are e-certified CEOs. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Armbruster's national animal is the Griffin and Deer, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies, and its national religion is Atheism.

Armbruster is ranked 18,549^th in the world and 241^st in Europe for Highest Average Tax Rates, with 78.81 Effective Tax Rate.
