The idea is still very embryonic at this stage but what I'm toying with is the idea of something that's a little more like Radiatia, but less overpowered.
The problem I'm having with Tangatarehua is a) the geography isn't interesting to me and b) it's too sane.
I want to be able to write totally outlandish, absurdist articles but the kinds of things I have in mind wouldn't work in a society as orderly and (dare I say it) cultured as Tangatarehua.
I'm currently leaning toward the idea of something Eurasian or Silk Road inspired.
Or you could use Homofront idea; repressed sexual deviants looking for more representation versus the traditional conservative masses. The idea was tossed around for a bit but not much came out of it.
I don't think I'm quite the right player to do justice to an idea like that.
