Seyyed Hedayatollah Asgaroladi will be Rudsarqan’s next president after being declared the winner of the country’s presidential election. With more than 50% of the vote in his favour, there will be no need for a second round run-off vote. Asgaroladi’s main opposition rival Elahi Rudsarqandoost (National Liberal Party; حزب ملی لیبرال; HLM) who formed a alliance with Ruhullah Khatibi (National Party; حزب ملی; HM) has conceded defeat and congratulated Asgaroladi, the current Rudsarqanian Minister of Defence, who has won around 52 percent of the vote according to the latest results, 13 percent more than Rudsarqandoost. Saeid Dailili (HDK) is in third place with less than 10 percent of the vote.

Supporters of Asgaroladi's cheered as they follow the election's results in front of the National Action Party's (حزب اقدام ملی; HEM) headquarters in Aradan, where Asgaroladi gave a speech from the building's balcony:

I wholeheartedly greet our thirty-one ostāns as well as sister and friendly capitals and cities of the world from Aradan, from the HEM Party headquarters. I’ve just addressed via teleconference thousands of people who gathered in Shar Square. They were sharing the joy you have here in freezing weather.  I first want to express my absolute gratitude to my God for such a victory and a meaningful result.  

I thank my friends and brothers all over the world who prayed for our victory. I thank my oppressed brothers in Mizrahel who saw our victory as their victory. I thank my brothers in Dhornaper who are struggling for democracy and who understand our struggle very well. I thank my brothers in Irocco, in Dabiristan, in Maqamistan, in Valddera and in all cities in Shamat who celebrate our victory with the same joy we have here. I thank my suffering brothers, who pray for our victory although in a great pain, facing starvation and under bombs and bullets. I express the gratitude of my people to all our brothers and friends who gave a support to Rudsarqan’s independence struggle just like before the January Struggle. Of course, this precious people deserve the greatest appreciation.

My brothers; I thank you very much because you have protected the new Rudsarqan’s struggle for independence. I thank each of you because you have protected the ideal of a great Rudsarqan and the targets of a great Rudsarqan. You have supported your party, the politics, your own future with your own will.  

Well, today is August 11. What did they say? They said “Chaos after August 1.” Correct. We saw the chaos. What was this chaos? This country found the opportunity to see the traitors who eavesdropped on the Foreign Ministry and committed treachery by interfering in the national security of this state and people. That was their chaos plan. I’ve been saying for months that “We’ll walk into their dens.”

Now, from time to time, journalists ask me whether I will make a balcony speech this year, as I have every year. Ok, first, what are you expecting out of a balcony speech? Second, why don’t you ask the same to the leaders of the opposition parties? But they [opposition leaders] have no such target. They will keep silent but will claim their win. Regardless of whether he receives 26, 27 or 28 percent, the general directorate [HLM leader] will say he won the elections. The other [HM] will claim his win although he gets 13, 14 or 15 percent. Why? Because they have spent their lives this way. But what did your brother say? “I’ll quit party leadership if we cannot be the first party.” Politics requires honour. Politics requires nobility. If you cannot enrich your positions, quit. This general directorate [HLM leader] once said he would quit politics if he remains below 40 percent. He got 26, did he go? No. He won’t go this time either. The other one has occupied this seat for the last 16 or 17 years. Will he go? No.

The message our precious people gave is very clear. The people gave a clear message to Rudsarqan and to the world: What did they say? They said “We are here.” They said, “The Rudsarqanian people are impassable.” “We are the owners of this country. the people will not bow and Rudsarqan is invincible.”

Those who managed could flee. More can flee tomorrow. I have filed criminal complaints about some of them; I said they can also flee. As I have said, from now on, we’ll walk into their dens. They will pay for this. How can you threaten our national security? We are in a state of war with us. They are harassing our planes. They have martyred our 74 brothers and desecrated the Anushirvan's Tomb. An attack against there is an attack against 92 million souls. Can we remain silent about such a thing? But these traitors wiretapped this meeting and leaked it to the world.

They are worse than Assassins [of the Middle Ages]. They are beyond them. My brothers; there is a very important message conveyed by our people through the polls. Our people have made their objection and their stance against attempts to change the direction of Rudsarqan through non-political ways.

Election results show who lost, more than they show who won. Please listen to these words carefully: Today, unethical politics has lost. We spoke of plans, projects. They spoke of lies, dissimulation, slander, sedition and intrigue. The status quo has taken a huge blow today. Dirty relations and unnamed alliances have lost today. Every kind of tutelage and to all kinds of tutelage-dictating centers has been hit with a full slap by the nation. Arrogance has lost today. Pride has lost today. The arrogance that looks down on its nation, belittling it and making light of its choices has lost in the ballot box one again.

You know those people who used that blood-dripping, anger-inducing, hate-mongering headlines… Today, they have lost heavily again. O, Afghanistan Gharbi [referring to Dhornaper-based exiled prince Siavash Eftekhari], o, the media who support them from here, o, the capital that supported them… Weren’t you positioned against democracy? Democracy has won at the ballot box today. The will has won at the ballot box. What happened to the messages that you gave with an expectation of a coup in Rudsarqan in 2030 in the 21st century? Look at this, the nation is here. The people are here. Those who’d love to plot a route for Rudsarqan through extra-political interventions have lost today at the ballot box. Where are you now?

The politics of lies, slander, blackmail and montage has been destroyed today. The solution method of all problems in Rudsarqan is politics and democracy unquestionably. Whatever problem one has, politics should be used for the solution. Whatever problem one has, it should be solved at the ballot box.

As the HEM Party, we will analyse the election results, as we have done in all other elections. [Analysing the reasons] why we got 46-47-48 [percent of votes all over Rudsarqan] and we could not increase this [rate] to 55 or 60 [percent]. We will sit and discuss this now. And after discussing these and coming up with results we will continue on our path after working on our flaws. But is the opposition occupied with such an issue? No. They have always caught unprepared in the elections. We will wholeheartedly evaluate the feelings of people who have voted for us and my citizens who have not voted for us. The opposition should read the message people have given in the ballot in the correct way. The opposition should do healthy self-criticism.

Do you know what made me hurt? I put aside what has been done against me after what has been done at the Foreign Ministry. Have you heard of any statement from this opposition?

Did you hear them saying “This is treason, this is espionage, we are taking sides with the government against this.” Can those who take sides with Mizrahel say these? This was what they said, they said there will be chaos after [August] 1. They said the citizenry would riot; did you? We will get stronger in the economy, in politics and in democracy.

Come on, let’s turn over a new page. O, the opposition, o, the people who have given their hearts to the opposition. Rudsarqan’s interests must be over everything else. We said we are ready to lose if Rudsarqan would win. The mentality that the HEM Party should lose regardless of what consequences it will have for Rudsarqan must be a thing of the past. The principles, values must be the fundamentals of the politics. Let’s raise Rudsarqan together. Those who are used by Rudsarqan’s enemies as pawns were disappointed today. These pawns once again saw how glorious, how noble, how heroic these people are.

We have come [to power] to serve the people, not to be a master over them. We are only the porters of a big stone on the path. We were not here yesterday, but this path will continue. As long as the world stands, God willing, our flag will continue to wave in the highest bastions forever. For this, what have we said? We have said one nation with Farsibans, Aryameni, Pashtuns, Iroccoans, Rosiyan, Dabirstani and Neshara people. I do not love a Farsiban for being a Farsiban, a Aryameni for being a Aryameni, or a Iroccoan for being a Iroccoan. I love them because Allah who has created me has created the 92 million people. We do not discriminate. One group is making political Pashtuniness, one group is making political Farsibaness. The HLM says ‘I am a party of the coasts.’ One nation, one country, one flag, one state.

They have entered our institutions over in 35-40 years. They infiltrated wherever. We became the victim of our good intentions.  Now it is time to comb them out, within the law. Why? Because from now on, neither the nation nor we will show tolerance to such networks. Look, thank God, we have been granted the proud and honour of being at the forefront of this path. Maybe tomorrow we will not be in these posts. We have tried to glorify whatever task my God has given us. After now, as long as this body has this life, God willing, we will try to loyally adopt whatever tasks are bestowed onto us. If God pleases, we will put in an effort to laud our flag and our land as the servants of this country and nation until our last breath. We are highly relieved. We feel the pride of carrying the great Rudsarqanian flag, which we took over from our predecessors, to high bastions.

We are at joy to have strengthened politics. We have no doubt that the great HEM Party family will behave with this consciousness. Today, nobody should be sad or sorry. The 92 million people should know that Rudsarqan won today. Every single individual in the 92 million people should know that the new Rudsarqan won today. This is the wedding day of the new Rudsarqan.

Today, the targets of 2035 are set, the resolution process won, the process of national unity and fraternity won. Not even one person among the 92 million lost, because a cadre that is ready to serve them without any discrimination is in office. They may think differently; they may have voted for different political parties; they may have cursed us. They may have insulted us. We have stomached most of them; we will take many of them to court. The worthless opposition, the status quo, coup attempts and tutelage have lost. Immoral and indecent politics have lost. I am thanking once more my nation. I am thanking those grandmothers who have prayed non-stop for months, even children. I am thanking young people, my sisters and the gentlemen.

I am thanking my brothers who have trusted us and who have believed in us. I am thanking those who have prayed for Rudsarqan, for Rudsarqan’s stability everywhere in the world. I am thanking my organization, from my headquarters to provincial organizations, district organizations, small town organizations and polling-station observers. I am thanking one by one our women’s branches, our youth branches, all of them one by one. I wish all the success to the elected mayors, city council members, metropolitan council members, village and neighbourhood heads. I wish from God that these elections bring goodness to Rudsarqan. May God protect my country, my nation.

The nation is invincible. I say happy victory; let our victory be blessed. I salute all of you from my heart and I am asking, “Are we ready?”

New Claims New claims are restricted to a maximum of 100 million population and less than 40,000 pixels. Cartographers can grant exemptions to claims at their discretion. Expansions A nation can expand once every month. Expansion posts must RP the development of the land. These posts can either be in the form of RMB posts, dispatches or even lore tidbits posted to the Discord server or again, the RMB. One word of roleplay is equivalent to 5 pixels. If three map updates pass and no progress has been made on RPing the development of the expansion, it is voided and as such, it will be removed by Cartographers in the next update. Gargantuan nations, or nations that exceed 120,000px in size at the time of their expansion, may be outright prohibited from expanding further or may have lower maximums imposed on them by Cartographers at their own discretion. You are automatically prohibited from expanding further if your nation is close to or over 350,000px in size. Claims deemed as unreasonable or unrealistic may be outright rejected by Cartographers at their own discretion. You are allowed to roleplay expansions that are set in the past. The maximum limit for your first 10 expansions is 10,000px (2000 words). The maximum limit for your next 20 expansions is 5,000px (1000 words). The maximum limit for any expansions you do after your 30th one is 1,000px (500 words). New members of Corsair may be allowed to expand by 30,000px for their first 3 expansions. To claim this offer, you may ask the Cartographers about this offer. Receiving this benefit is dependent on whether Cartographer consensus agrees you can or can't. 25/25 Rule: One pixel adds a total of 25,000 more people to your population and $250,000 to your GDP at the most. Land Transfers Nations can transfer land if both parties notify the Cartographers via Discord, the RMB, or telegrams. Land transfers must be RPed with a 200-word or more post from both parties before they are accepted. Cartographers may reject land transfers at their own discretion. Land transfers will be automatically rejected if the receiving party is near or over 350,000px in size at the time of the transfer. Alt Accounts All accounts on Erene, including your main nation, must have at the bare minimum: a dedicated account OR an overview AND a military factsheet Alt accounts are classified in two distinct groups: Independent States: An alt account that is a fully independent country within the RP. Dependent States: An alt account that is intrinsically tied to your main nation, such as a breakaway or insurgency, a puppet state, an autonomous state or a colony. Adding a Dependent State alt to the map counts as an expansion. You may not use your alt to militarily support your main nation or one of your other alts if the alt is an Independent State. This does not apply to Dependent States. Your alts are allowed to be in the same alliances and trade unions as your main nation. Players are only allowed to have an Independent State alt after 3 months of no expansions from all of their accounts. Dependent State alts can only be founded if an expansion claim is sent alongside a proper nation claim for the alt. Players are allowed to have up to 3 accounts on the map, or one main and two alts. Economy Your GDP is determined by you, provided that it is realistic and within reason. Helpful pointers you can use to determine a reasonable GDP include your size, location, the major resources available to you, your trade with other nations and the domestic situation inside your country. For example, it would be unreasonable to have a booming $2 trillion economy if your nation is in a constant state of civil war. To calculate your GDP per capita, divide your GDP (total wealth) by your population. A nation may only have access to a major resource if their nation is located on a deposit for it or if they have access to it via trade. For example, you cannot trade or use oil if your nation isn't located on or near an oil deposit, or if you have no way of receiving oil from others. Technological Limits To use or develop certain forms of technology, you must have access to certain major resources and permission from the cartographers or moderators to use them. Aircraft Carriers - Resources needed: Iron, Bauxite, Oil, Uranium Nuclear Technology (reactors, nuclear bombs, nuclear submarines) - Resources needed: Iron, Uranium Space Technology - Resources needed: Iron, Bauxite, Oil, Copper, Uranium You cannot use technology that does not exist in the real world. Experimental technology that exists IRL can only be used in experimental settings in the RP. Alliances An alliance may be formed between 2 or more players following an RP that gives justification for the alliance's existence An alliance must have a reasonable justification for existing. This can be for reasons such as trade, further collaboration for future endeavours, trade, etc. Alliances must have a dedicated dispatch that has: a history of the alliance a list of the alliance's members a statement expressing the alliance's functions or goals RP moderators and Cartographers can void an alliance if it becomes clear that the alliance serves no purpose to the RP. A nation cannot be in more than two military alliances at once. Alliances must be approved by Cartographers or moderators before they can exist in the RP. Usage of AI The use of generative AI to write roleplay posts is forbidden. Posts found or suspected of being written by an AI will be voided. The use of generative AI to write the contents of a dispatch is forbidden. You may use AI art in your roleplays, but you are not allowed to pass the work off as your own. You may use AI to to format dispatches, generate ideas for roleplays or proofread your work. Fantasy You are allowed to have fantasy elements in your nation, such as magic or fantasy species. Fantasy is defined as anything that doesn't conform to the real world as we understand it. You cannot use fantasy elements to circumvent the rules. Fantasy elements must have their lore in a place where others can easily see it. You may do this through a dispatch or by making a thread in our Discord server's #worldbuilding forum. Time Time progresses at a rate of 1:6 on Erene - 1 year on Erene is 2 months in our time. Time is relatively flexible. You may set your roleplays in the past, but you are not allowed to roleplay anything beyond the present day on Erene. When roleplaying a war, time becomes inflexible and the roleplay will progress according to the current day on the map. Punishment If you are found to be violating the rules of the map, you will be warned by RP Moderators or Cartographers to rectify the issue. If no attempt is made to rectify the issue, you will be suspended from the roleplay until the matter is resolved. When you are suspended, you are not allowed to roleplay or interact with others on the map. Activity Any nation that is inactive for more than a month will be removed from the map. This also applies to alternate accounts. You may apply for a Leave-of-Absence if you are going to be away for an extended period of time.
