- standard mailing rates in regions 4 and 8 are now reduced in price until further notice due to an unfortunate accident where an intern at the central sorting/planning commission accidentally added an extra two 0's to our annual repurposed demilitarized high-speed mail delivery helicopter order.

- The most recent renovations to the sorting hub 61(d) "hall of stamps" has been deemed structurally defective by the internal review subcommittee of the Australia Post Board of Directors due to its failure to accommodate the recently discovered stamp entitled "1983 triple canceled antarctic archipelago misprint". The entire building has been marked as condemned and is slated for immediate demolition. Estimated project completion time for the reconstructed hall is 10 years.
- At a hearing before the Board of Directors, the Administrator of Postal Enforcement, David Williams has admitted that he has "completely failed" to ensure that over 12,000 mailboxes have confirmed with postal regulation 18(3)(s)(iiv), and that thousands more mailboxes may have been incorrectly approved as valid mail receptacles without having those cute little flags that go up when mail gets delivered. ((Great question! I like to think of Auspost directly controlling a very small microstate-sized territory where the ruling elite administer the corporation and which is actually truly 100% sovereign. Its not prime real estate and I'm sure it was bought off some Tyrannical 3rd world dictatorship, but its home :^).
