Loading...It's the busiest its been in years!
It's good to see more activity here. *nods*
What's everyone been up to over the last decade?
Well let's see:
2016 I was in my 2nd year of college
2019 I graduated
2020 I got a job working in a school about two weeks before we shut down due to COVID, I then had to work remotely the remainder of the school year. I did very little work that spring
2021 I bought a house
2022 I got married
2023 My wife and I's beloved cat died (RIP)
2024 I had a kid, he is now 2 1/2
2026 We are now expecting our 2nd and hopefully final child.
And that's pretty much the big things
Congrats! Sounds like you've done quite well for yourself. I got married in 2022 also, and bought a house a few months later in 2023. We don't have any children yet though.
Thanks! Congrats to yourself as well! Certainly hasn't been an easy 10 years, but life is going well over all
Congrats to you both, glad things are going well for y'all.
As for me, I graduated college in early '22, then had a year of doing online baseball stuff for a local company. In '23, I got hired by MLB to do data ops at Minnesota Twins games, and I'm still doing that. In the winters I return to WI and work several jobs and wait for spring
I dropped out of college twice and am thinking of finally going back and finishing, hopefully third times the charm.
I must be the fossil here. I started playing NS in May 2003; got my PhD in 2007; got married in 2009; bought our house in 2011 and had our twins in 2012. Tempus Fugit
I was 6 years old in 2003
