Hello all. I've been the Guardian of The Forest for many years now, but there comes a time when every Guardian must pass on. After some deliberation I've decided that it is time for me to step down as Guardian and choose a new Guardian of The Forest.
To help me determine who I should pass the role on to, I would like to hear from those of you that believe you are capable of being a Guardian as to why I should choose you as the next Guardian. I will give two months for nations to make their case in the regional message board. At the end of those two months I will hold a vote to see the opinion of the nations in this region. I will then use the statements on the RMB as well as the opinion from the region to help me determine who is best fit to be Guardian.
A couple rules I have are NO BRIBING of any kind and NO DISHONORABLE BEHAVIOR. I want this to be fair for every nation involved. Any nation that breaks these rules shall be disqualified.
One thing I'm looking for is someone who can stay active and not let their nation cease to exist. I'm also looking for someone who can continue to carry out the values of The Forest and be a good steward to all nations that call this region home.
If you have any questions or thoughts please feel free to let me know! It truly has been an honor to be your Guardian and I look forward to hearing from you all!
Hey! It's sad to see you go as Guardian. Are you planning on leaving Nationstates altogether, or just the position of Guardian?
I was planning on leaving both. I honestly only go on here to just to keep my nation alive and check on/manage the region. As I don't really play it anymore I feel like it's time for me to leave it. I just want to know the region is in good hands after I'm gone and not overtaken by raiders.
If this is genuine, then I will be willing to step forward and help look after everything. You may not know me at all, and that is very understandable as I have not spoken, but this is something I am willing to speak on because I have come to enjoy the atmosphere and the vibe and I would assure you that under my eye that your work would remain intact as long as I am around.
I would be willing to go deeper into detail as to who I am, and what I would be willing to offer if anyone wants to indulge that, but my main idea would be to protect the region, and maybe even come up with some plans to pick up activities and maybe bring more people to our region.
