Invitation: The SSUC 6 Summit
Attention, all resident nations of the Socialist States of Upper Canada!
This week, we have seen tremendous growth in the region, resulting in a return to the highest level of membership since October of 2021.
Over five years ago, four small nations (Lasien, Jacobopolus, Beanoss, and Papyopolis) signed a treaty that turned the Socialist States of Upper Canada from simply a peace agreement, to an actual region. Throughout the remainder of 2019, the SSUC experienced many highs in the form of significant expansion, as well as its lowest point: The Great SSUC War. After many tragic battles, the conflicts were eventually settled and the region peacefully grew until it reached its peak of 31 nations.
The following months were uneventful until Black Sunday Evening, when the region of Wohc ceased to exist, creating a spiralling decline in resident nations. A brief renaissance period was enjoyed the following year with the revival of CansaTopia and CansasTopia, as well as the arrival of Boleynya; but eventually membership in the Socialist States of Upper Canada fell to solely its two founding members. For the last year, the nations of Lasien and Jacobopolus have been left alone in what was once a vast and impressive region, now a shell of the booming community it once was. Until now.
Monday saw the revival of the Kingdom of Big Eyed Animals, rekindling the SSUC's dormant flame. This was swiftly followed by the entrance of two recently founded nations of the Holy Empire of Zandbiar and the Protectorate of the Economy V2, as well as the long awaited return of The Borderlands of Camerune. With the prospect of new nations on the horizon as well as the potential re-emergence of CansaTopia and Boleynya, this could be a sliding doors moment for the region.
I believe that 2025 will offer plenty of new experiences and growth for the Socialist States of Upper Canada, making it even stronger than it once was; but it is crucial that we capitalize on this momentum. Hence, the United States of 
Jacobopolus invites all resident nations to the region capital of Red Oak for the first ever SSUC 6 Summit. This subject of this summit will concern the welcoming of new and returning nations, amendment of the SSUC Treaty, and plans for future expansion. It is critical that all nations of the region find a way to cooperate with one another in order to move towards a stronger, more peaceful Socialist States of Upper Canada.
