Happy ten years of Nesapo everyone
Folks, it's been ten years of Nesapo.
From the time of its founding in April of 2013 til now, Nesapo has endured. It started with Bodobol and myself, under my first nation Mojave. We had a lot of fun in those days. I still remember the first Delegate election, where I, as the incumbent, rigged the poll against the Republic of Llamas. Oh, he complained, but I wouldn't budge, and so I stayed in the post. We had a constitutional convention, and settled on the flag you see today - a flag that has flown proudly over this region for almost a decade now.
In early 2014, we merged with several other regions to create Khora. It was a wild experiment with a shared founder account, and collapsed in a month when somebody went rogue and embarked on a mass ejection spree. The big players in the region left for the world of Gameplay, and Nesapo's wild geese spread far across the lands. In 2016, we did some light regionbuilding, and were briefly able to attain a population over one hundred! And, as things go, that boom died down in the end, and we settled into the quiet normalcy of every day life, sustaining Ochea as our Delegate for almost six consecutive years despite a low amount of endorsements.
Since then, we have been dormant. But that's not such a bad thing: after all, man is born tired, and lives to get a rest. Nesapo, and the billions of citizens of her constituent countries, have lived in undisturbed, splendid isolation for longer than many regions are able to afford.
Here we stand today: the same core of players, off on their own adventures through life, yet still constant in our maintenance of this relic of days gone by. The nation of the month is still soon to be determined, as it has been for years now. I am proud of you all. Thank you, everyone, for keeping this little corner of our internet heritage alive. And to Bodobol specifically: love you buddy.
