Entries have closed for the NationStates Eurovision Song Contest Thessaloniki 2024 and voting is now open for the Semi-Finals! We've had a whopping 67 entrants to the competition. Thanks to everyone who signed up, I hope you all have a good time participating! Now, voters, please make sure to read the voting rules in the dispatch before submitting your votes. Best of luck to everyone!
Voting has closed for the Semi-Finals
The NationStates Eurovision Song Contest Thessaloniki 2024 has passed a significant milestone, receiving 67 entries, by far the most entries of any NationStates Eurovision Song Contest.
Due to the record turnout, participating nations were randomly split into four different Semi-Final groups.
The six highest-scoring nations from each Semi-Final group went through to the Grand Final.
The placings and scores of each nation for the Semi-Finals will be added to the tables below once voting in the Grand Final has closed.
Voting Rules:
- only participating nations could vote,
- you could only vote for nations in the same Semi-Final group as your nation,
- you couldn’t vote for your own nation,
- you had to vote for ten nations (this means you couldn’t vote for some nations),
- each nation you voted for received a specific point total,
- the point totals are 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 (each total could only be given once),
- and the more points you gave a nation, the more you liked their song.
An example of what votes should have looked like is included below:
Nations telegrammed Yahlia to submit their votes.
Invalid votes were rejected until a valid vote was submitted.
Yahlia didn’t individually take the time to teach participants the proper way to vote. Voters should have made sure they knew how to vote by reading the voting rules and comparing their vote with the example shown.
Voting closed at 17:00 on Saturday 18 May (NZST). This was strictly enforced.
Good luck to all nations!

The Interregional National Confederation (INC) was established by the Russian Brotherhood with the aim of unifying people under a single group to safeguard the rights of NationStates users and bring non-democratic regions to accountability. It is important to note that the Interregional National Confederation does not support region raiding or violent attacks unless needed. The Confederation will not take any permanent role in governing an overthrown government. Interregional National Confederation will establish an embassy for regions for easy communication.
The Interregional National Confederation has different departments for different needs. The head of the Confederation is known as the "Red Table" or the formal name of the People's ExecuTives (PET). The People's Executives would deal with the admission of all high commands and administrate and formalize new laws to improve the members' lives. The positions of PET are, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Head of a department, and Lead Advisor of a department.
The second department is Human Resources (HR). Human Resources (HR) is one of the departments of the Interregional National Confederation (INC). The HR department is responsible for the management of confederation members and personnel. Its primary function is to ensure that the right people are in the right positions and that they are treated fairly and equitably. The department is also responsible for developing policies and procedures related to employment, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and other areas related to managing human resources.
The third department is the Liberating Army (LA). The Liberating Army (LA) is one of the departments of the Interregional National Confederation (INC). The LA department is responsible for the safety and protection of little regions that can't protect their nation. Its primary function is to ensure that WA is a region to ensure its safety and keep the nations safe.
The fourth department of the Confederation is known as Administration (A). This department is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including setting up new regions to aid them in achieving their goals. The Admins of the Confederation work tirelessly to ensure that all newly formed regions have the necessary resources, support, and infrastructure to thrive. This includes everything from establishing local governments and regulatory bodies to developing public services and transportation systems. With their expertise and dedication, the Admins play a critical role in the success of the Confederation and its member regions.
These four departments are available upon a member has reached Member status which usually takes 10 days. Upon which the member could join one of these departments. Members are expected to provide basic services such as associating with their ambassadors to improve the way of life in their region.
