Loading...No sooner had I posted yesterday's bulletin than Lower Northeast Corner's Economy improved all the way to All-Consuming! Well done!
And now Lower Northwest Corner has reached the All-Consuming stage in its economy too. Next step is Frightening, followed by really, really Scary.
113 days ago, I announced that this nation had dropped from the 9th percentile for Averageness to the 10th. Apparently, this was of short duration, short enough that I had forgotten that I dropped that far at one point. Well, I have dropped that far again, and I doubt very much I'm coming back this time. I'll let you know when I am Average no more. It will be a sad day for Center of Levity, despite our happy-go-lucky nation name.
As predicted, Lower Northwest Corner now has a Frightening Economy. Congratulations! Onward to an economy stat of 100.00. And beyond!
It's not clear how it happened, but this nation is back in the top 9% for Most Average, without any change to its Averageness stat. I guess either a lot of Average nations are CTEing lately, or perhaps ceasing to be noticeably average. The number of total nations has also been noticeably increasing. Maybe more of the new nations have chosen a non-Centrist ideology or taken the 8-question political quiz. Either way, I'm just glad to see it.
Sigh! We're back down to 10% already. It appears to be connected with a fairly massive drop in the total number of nations.
Back up to 9% for Averageness again. Maybe I should stop reporting on this until things stabilize...
Today, our Averageness stat increased very slightly. Not enough to move us from 9% however. Why it should change at all is still a mystery. The issue which apparently changed it also caused a rather larger decrease in the Safety stat. Who knows if that had anything to do with it!
Upper Northwest Corner just crashed its economy by refusing to crack down on Anarchy. It fell from off the scale to Very Strong. I have little doubt it will recover.
We are now no longer in the top 10% of Average Nations. Very sad. Our Averageness seems to be falling faster than the number of nations increases. Its always possible that enough nations will die off (or alternately, be created) that we will once again be in the top 10%. Don't laugh. It could happen.
