The Dominion of Littlejohn is a colossal, efficient nation, renowned for its irreverence towards religion. The hard-working, democratic population of 4.865 billion Littlejohnians live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

The minute, liberal, pro-business, outspoken government, or what there is of one, juggles the competing demands of Education, Welfare, and Defense. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 6.2%.

The very strong Littlejohnian economy, worth 298 trillion aurums a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Retail, Basket Weaving, and Trout Farming. Average income is 61,445 aurums, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 186,848 per year while the poor average 15,692, a ratio of 11.9 to 1.

The alarmingly racist TV show 'Bigtopians Say the Darndest Things' is a hit and the latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller. Crime is a problem, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Littlejohn's national animal is the bovina, which can occasionally be seen sifting through garbage in the nation's cities.

Littlejohn is ranked 294,154^th in the world and 1^st in Littlejohn for Most Advanced Law Enforcement, scoring 202.44 on the Orwell Orderliness Index.
