well, i change it.
That's called betrayal
yes XD
Similar. Right now, I can't meet any one of my friends because I'm trapped at home, not because of Covid. NationStates is how I solve my loneliness in that regard. I consider many people on this website as my friends.
Filibustra, Lionsroar, and Melbournians
Nice, XD
Alright, I'll look into it
I'll give you 0.25.
Okay
Get the Card Jenha, I don't fight about it. (And i don't have the money too xD)
I'll take that as a deal!
Shark Tank theme intensifies
Well, can you tell me some things about this region?
You may have to compete with people to get the card or not
Thanks!
It's called capitalism. I got excited when I made the offer, gotta be honest.
Or look at all the other cards I'm selling page=deck/collection=53370 if you don't get the card
You really know how to negotiate, don't you?
I'll give you 0.3, you give me the blink. How about that?
Will do!
Ough, there is a lot to tell.

Welcome to The North Pacific!
Welcome to The North Pacific (TNP)! You might be a new nation to the game or in TNP, and you don't really know what is going on or where to start. Or you may be an experienced member but have several questions regarding some of the activities going on. Whatever the case, we have put together this handbook that you can use to familiarize yourself with the game and TNP, and to make the most out of your time in NationStates (NS).
The handbook has a number of different sections. The index below will help you navigate them. If you have any questions not answered in this handbook, feel free to send a telegram to Delegate Kaschovia, Minister of Home Affairs Lionsroar, or any of the Gameside Advocates and Mentors. They will be glad to help! Additionally, we are always looking to improve this handbook, so let us now if you think something should be added or changed.
Onboarding Checklist
This section covers the very first items you should check off as a newcomer to the game and TNP.
Why you should be in TNP: Selecting a region for your nation is one of the most important decisions you will make in the game. We hope you will make TNP your home, and this link explains why. If you have already decided to stay here, that's great!
Join the regional forum: The forum is where most government and roleplay activities take place. Registering an account is very easy. You should get yourself an account so that you can check out what's going on and join in on the fun.
Join our regional chat: Our Discord server is where our members hang out and chat about the game and real life subjects. You can join and introduce yourself to our community. Additionally, if you have any questions, asking on Discord is the fastest way to get help.
Apply for citizenship: Citizenship is your ticket to TNP. As a citizen, you can vote to elect our Delegate and other government officials, hold them accountable, and even run for these positions yourself. All you need to apply is a nation in TNP and an account on the forum.
Ways to Get Involved
Now that you have cleared the basics, you must be looking for things to do. Below are some of the opportunities TNP offers.
Get involved in the government: There are many ways to get involved in the government straight away after joining TNP. You can write the regional laws in the Regional Assembly. You can take part in the day-to-day running of the region in the Executive Staff. Or, you can protect TNP at home and abroad in the North Pacific Army.
Get involved in the World Assembly: Joining the World Assembly (WA) is one of the best ways to empower your nation, especially in TNP. Thanks to our WA Development Program, as a WA member you can determine international laws, have one of the highest endorsement counts in the entire game, and even win awards!
Get involved in RolePlay: We have not one, but two vibrant RolePlay (RP) universes, Eras and Strangereal. Each comes with its own map, chronology, and physics laws. If you commit to being active in RP, you can claim a spot in either universe's map, and join others in weaving stories about your nation and its role in the world.
Get involved in trading cards: Our regional cards guild provides many resources you can take advantage of to increase the value of your deck, including several offerings of free cards. As a member of the guild, you can also participate in many other cards-related activities, including themed collections, pull events, and regular publications.

What is this?
The North Pacific WA Development Program (WADP) is a campaign to increase awareness among nations in The North Pacific of the benefits of World Assembly (WA) membership, maintaining high endorsement counts, and voting on WA resolutions. We hope that this campaign will result in a significant increase in the number of WA members, the number of endorsements exchanged, and the number of WA votes cast within The North Pacific. If these objectives are achieved, The North Pacific will become a much more influential and secure region.
Who is running this campaign?
This campaign is organized and coordinated jointly by the Delegate and the Security Council of The North Pacific. The regional security aspects are managed by the Security Council of the North Pacific and the voting aspects are managed by the World Assembly Delegate.
I am interested in helping. What can I do?
First of all, you should make sure to do what is mentioned in the TL;DR box above: first join the World Assembly if you are not already a member, continue to become a Keeper of the North, then continue exchanging endorsements, and finally make sure to vote on World Assembly resolutions.
If you want to go above and beyond, you can help promote this campaign in the following ways:
~ Send telegrams to nations in The North Pacific pointing them to this dispatch, or directly encouraging them to join the World Assembly, become Keepers, and exchange endorsements.
~ Advertise the campaign in materials you publish by using the campaign logo (shown below with code) and linking to this dispatch.

How can I keep track of how well we are doing?
Take a look at the reports tab above, which includes many statistics informative of the progress of the campaign.
What do I gain from all this?
First, as mentioned above, by participating in this campaign, you help make our region safer and more influential. This is good for all nations in The North Pacific, including you!
Second, if you do decide to join the World Assembly member, become a Keeper of the North, actively exchange endorsements, and consistently vote on World Assembly resolutions, your nation and your game experience overall will improve in several important ways, described in detail in the three previous links.
Third, if you show that you are actively exchanging endorsements, we will promote your nation so that you can gain endorsements even faster!
Fourth, we will be handing out a generous amount of participation awards and achievements. That's right, there will be a lot of bling you can use to show off. We will also be maintaining special regional censuses, to highlight the most active and consistent endorsers in the region. You can find out more by looking at the benefits tab above.
Last but not least, every day we give away free legendary cards through the card lottery. By participating in this campaign, you can expand your collection to include some of the most valuable cards in the game.
I have some thoughts on improving the WADP, whom do I contact?
Thanks! We greatly appreciate all constructive feedback. Please contact Vice Delegate Chipoli with any comments or questions you may have. The Security Council runs regular surveys regarding the WADP and other areas. No survey is currently open. This page will be updated with ongoing surveys.

If you are interested in RP (Role Play), check this out:
What is RolePlay?
RolePlay (RP) is essentially a grand story, which can be told from the eyes of a character, a state apparatus, or an omniscient narrator. This story is a cooperative effort that is created by contributions from all members of the RolePlay community. A lot of RolePlaying in the North Pacific focuses on diplomatic relations between other nations in the region and interactions between its governments. Many of these RolePlays center around a few specific people and their interactions.
Why should I join?
RolePlay extends beyond the issue answering and gameplay mechanics of NationStates. It takes place in it's own separate world and allows for more creative thinking and writing. It is through these complexities, that our nations truly come to life.
How do I get started?
There are two official RolePlay communities in The North Pacific: Forum-based Eras, and Regional Message Board-based Strangereal.
To join the Forum-based RolePlay community, you need to create a forum account here. You can then head on over to the RolePlay forum to get started. You can start off by claiming a spot on the TNP map located here.
To join the RMB-based RolePlay community, please contact British Bayonet.
Whatever community you choose, you should also join The North Pacific's RolePlay Discord Server so you don't miss out on any of the fun!
What if I still have questions?
A more detailed FAQ for Forum-based RolePlay can be found here. You can also contact Prydania, the Lead RolePlay Moderator in Eras, through Private Message (PM) on the forum or on Discord. If you have questions about our RMB-based RolePlay community, you can contact Friently, the Lead RolePlay Moderator for Strangereal.
If you are having difficulties signing up or navigating the forum, contact Minister of Home Affairs Lionsroar, or any of the Mentors.

We have our own forum, you can join: https://forum.thenorthpacific.org/topic/9145386/
If you are more into cards, check this out:
What are trading cards?
Trading cards are NationStates' own trading card game. You can generate, trade, and collect cards representing other nations, with each card having its own rarity and value. There is a whole dedicated market where you can buy or sell cards, and compete to rise through the rankings for most valuable decks, as well as increase the value of your nation's own card. Or, you can simply create your own themed collections, e.g., your friends, enemies, regionmates, best flags, and anything else you can think of!
How do I get involved?
Great to hear you are interested! Participating in the trading cards game can be one of the most entertaining aspects of the game. To get yourself started, you can use the following guide:
You should also consider joining The North Pacific Cards Guild, to make the most out of trading cards.
What is the Cards Guild?
The North Pacific Cards Guild is a government-run society that helps promote trading cards within the region, and provides various resources to help its members expand their collections. Examples include:
~ Statistics about market activity through the Card Market Watch.
~ Tools for finding cards through the Card Queries.
~ Prizes for themed collections through the Monthly Card Collection Competition.
~ Awards for the best regional collections through the Collection Spotlights.
~ Opportunities to spawn rare cards through the Card Pull Events.
~ Epic cards to jumpstart new collections through the Epic Startup Program.
~ Rewards for participating in the regional government through the Executive Card Rewards.
~ A chance to win some of the most valuable cards in the game through the WADP Card Lottery.
~ A dedicated publication to help you keep up with cards news through The Monthly Snapshot.
Additionally, the Guild's experienced members can help newer members familiarize themselves with trading techniques and other card-related strategies, once they have mastered the basics.
Finally, the Guild runs a whole lot of other card-related activities, including dedicated regular publications, featured collections, pull events, and so on.
How do I become a member?
Becoming a member is very simple!
What if I still have questions?
Please feel free to contact Minister of Cards and Guildmaster [nation][/nation]. They would be happy to help!

And of course we have this beautiful RMB (Regional Message Board) with cool dudes, RP and of course my own participation :)
Oh, and i started yesterday to organize Daily Questions in the RMB, Check it ouz:
and today's question:
The Daily Question Magazine Edition #2 Version #2 from the 04.10.2022
You know embassies. Well, I once heard you get flags there. Do you know how sad I was when I realized that there weren’t our NS-flags? I sat in corner and thought “Hmm, okay, then don’t I just ask the RMB about their flags”. Et voila, there we are. Jokes aside, I hope you enjoy today’s question, I hope you have fun and if you need information, read the texts down below or ask me your question. Enjoy!
Daily Question #2: Vexillology or something
Tell me about your flag. What do your colors stand for? What is the meaning of them? Why and for what do you have certain symbols? Do you have more flags? (Especially for you @Gridland) What is their meaning? Feel free to tell me everything about your flag(s).
Explanation:
How does it work? I plan to ask you a different question about your nation every day. You can answer (or not) and learn about other nations or expand your own nation with the help of these questions (worldbuilding). It's just a little game to get some more variety and fun into the RMB. There is no quality limit or similar and no restrictions in any way. (As long as your answers don’t violate the RMB-Rules of TNP). And there is also no region restriction. If you happen to be in TNP for the exact time, be brave enough to participate.
I am happy to receive answers. The daily questions will be repeated every day from time to time, meanwhile new questions will be coming some time the next day. Have fun!
