PDF: Exercise Silver Shield a go

MANADO — The PDF will hold its first joint missile defense drill in the Indo-Pacific region involving all AU member states. The drills will be held in eight locations: in the Gulf of Thailand, Banda Arc, Zanzibar Archipelago, Bohai Sea, Tsushima Straits, Celebes Sea, Gulf of Tonkin, and the Riau Islands.

The PDFGF has confirmed the participation of the following units in the exercise, which has been dubbed ‘Exercise Silver Shield’: the 28th Air Defense Army, 31st Air Defense Army, 32nd Air Defense Army, 1st People's Airborne Army, and the 5th Red Army. In total, 500,000 personnel from the Ground Forces will participate in the exercise. The PDFADF and PDFAF will cumulatively deploy 400 aircraft for the exercise as well, along with Missile Brigade 8 of the PDFSMF. Exercise Silver Shield involves the live fire testing of various anti-missile systems, such as shipborne and land-based CIWS, anti-ballistic defences (like the HQ-19 or HQ-26), the DF-17 HGV-based ballistic missile, area and point defense systems (such as the HQ-29 or HQ-16), and so on. It will also test the response times for road-mobile defense systems, particularly in difficult terrain such as jungle, beaches, and mountains.

The one-month exercise will be a good opportunity to simulate real-time events and test the AU’s joint response capabilities, as well as the AU’s ability to communicate on bilateral networks. Additionally, this marks a commitment by the AU to construct an improved multilayered missile defense system to counter missile threats from various foreign entities. Emphasis will also be placed on counter-battery and SEAD technologies to neutralize all hostile fire, with a separate SEAD/C-RAM component of drills for AU personnel.

The PDF will deploy Carrier Strike Groups 1, 2, 5, and 6 to the Gulf of Thailand, Gulf of Tonkin, Zanzibar Archipelago, and Celebes Sea respectively for the drills.

MOI-PSF to receive gear upgrades

JIANGNING — The MOI-PSF has announced it will be providing an upgrade for its public security officers, as well as a surplus sale and equipment donations to the police forces of Duma and Vashnal.

Since 1980, public security personnel could only use their weapons in self-defence, or if needed to subdue violent criminals or rioters. Lethal force can only be used to stop violence, to lessen the overall loss of life, or to subdue violently resisting criminals. Generally speaking, officers tend to be unarmed, and many officers are only equipped with batons. Electronic weapons, such as tasers or stun batons, are almost nonexistent. The new equipment upgrades include ceramic gas grenades, which are designed to break upon impact to release their contents. These can include riot control agents, which could also be launched from the Type 91 grenade launcher. This significantly decreases the chance of violent criminals throwing the grenades back at public security officers, and also increases aerosol dispersion rates significantly.

The MOI-PSF has also stated that directed energy weapons will be part of this upgrade. Photos from MOI-PSF reports show that the ZM-87 Portable Laser Disturber, a portable laser system which is small enough to fit on a lab bench, would be introduced into law enforcement service. The Zm-787 has the ability to disable or destroy integrated circuits and EO equipment, including phones, cameras, and remote controllers. Another directed energy upgrade includes the introduction of the PY132A laser gun, which has temporary blinding capabilities.

The MOI will furthermore collaborate with Norinco to produce a less-than-lethal variant of the HJ-9, designated as the HJ-9 NL, which utilizes a laser beam-riding guidance system. The HJ-9NL’s 152mm warhead is replaced with a glass capsule warhead, with the capsule’s interior containing indelible dye. Upon impact with a criminal perpetrator, the glass capsule will shatter, injuring those involved in criminal acts and also marking them with said dye for arrest and surveillance purposes. According to the MOI-PSF, it could be used "with discriminate and devastating effect against violent perpetrators of crimes".

Drones which are able to drop capsules of indelible dye are also being bought in by the MOI-PSF. The FYAT Multirotor series of rotor UAVs are currently being considered, for their manoeuvrability. Additionally, their ability to support photography missions has been said to be one contributing factor to its consideration and adoption. Over 400 units have been ordered from the FYAT plant to the southern FEUSSR, with an additional 400 to be delivered by next year.

The MOI-PSF has stated that it is willing to donate 500 Type 91 grenade launchers, 50 FYAT Multirotor drones, 50 PY132A laser guns, and over 400 ceramic CS gas grenades to the police forces of Duma and Vashnalfor future use.

Ministry of Posts and Communications

The Ministry of Posts and Communications has made plans to increase its future budget by $5 billion USD in a bid to increase employee retention by improving pay and benefits.

In 2018, for example, a top rocket scientist who left a state-owned aerospace firm to work in the private sector sparked criticism that state was failing to retain talent with proper incentives. As the private technology sector takes flight in the FEUSSR, demand for top talent is rising rapidly. Competition between the publicly funded research sector and private tech companies offering pay premiums is commonplace, as both sides aim to snatch up the most talented scientists and researchers.

The current MPC holds $40 billion USD in funding. A closed-door agreement with the Soviet of the Union indicates that the MPC will receive an additional $5 billion USD in funding the next fiscal year, for the sole purpose of providing higher levels of pay for state researchers and scientists. The new $45 billion USD budget increase will be explicitly used to provide more benefits and generous payments for the state's research and scientific staff, modelling its employee benefits on the “Singaporean model of success”. Pensions will be increased to reflect the current market median, while other benefits could potentially include subsidized tertiary education for children, a childcare allowance, bonuses, subsidised housing, and so on.

Data Privacy Laws Tightened Amidst Public Concern

JIANGNING — It is said that the FEUSSR has become one of the largest producers for online data, but with little data protection laws, it has led to a thriving market for stolen personal information, from national identification numbers to home addresses.

Public concerns about privacy and surveillance have spurred a nascent movement to secure people's data, stemming to people calling for accountability in phishing, to public outcry against data leaks. Many have called for more clearly defined legal channels for reporting data theft and seeking compensation for damages.

A recent study indicated that 74% of respondents opposed the use of facial recognition ID verification methods, largely because they feared the biometric data collected would not be sufficiently protected. Last year, government regulators announced a stronger stance on data collection, citing the excessive collection of personal information by online apps as "abundant" and "very prominent."

Current legal framework bans network operators from gathering data that is not relevant to their services, bans sharing identifiable data without consent, and requires companies to safeguard personal data. New data security regulations also state that customized content using recommendation algorithms (fed with personal information), such as news feeds or adverts, are to be explicitly labelled. The provision of personal information to third parties without the consent of the user was also rendered illegal.

New laws now lift the penalties against data theft, with data thieves liable to 3 years' of imprisonment and minimum fines of $50,000 USP. Companies, local or foreign, are also subject to government audits on an annual basis, to ensure the integrity of data storage systems and to make sure that no regulations were broken. Companies found in contravention with pre-existing legislation are liable to a minimum fine of $500,000 USP. All data acquired via facial recognition or biometrics is also required to be stored locally, and cannot be exported out of the country without consent from all persons involved, and the government.

Nairobi’s first metro system

NAIROBI — The State Railway Group Company will formally begin construction on Nairobi’s first metro system, which is expected to open in 8 years. The metro line is named the Orange Line, and its completion will be able to help alleviate the city’s roadside congestion.

The Orange Line’s rolling stock will comprise of the 8-car TML C-Train, of which 14 trainsets - or 112 cars - will be commissioned at the cost of $1.17 billion USP. The new trains will have a capacity of 452 passengers each and travel at top speeds of around 130 km/h on a standard gauge railway. The Railway Company has outsourced $160 million USP of construction work to local contractors, with the aim of constructing a 20 kilometre long set of railways that stretch to Nairobi Central, Ngara, Kariba, and the Upper Hill communities.

A $50 million USP integrated metro station and train depot will be constructed on an empty plot of land in Muthurwa, near the Nairobi Railway Station, which will serve as the nexus for the Orange Line. The Orange Line will include eight $144 million USP above-surface metro stations initially (outside of the Muthurwa Nexus), each with an aesthetic focused around 'green walls’, ‘green roofs’, and solar panels on the station rooftops in a bid to act more environmentally friendly. Space will also be made for local shops and retailers to commence operations within the station.

The contract of operation and maintenance of the Orange Line will be undertaken by the local city transport authority, on advice from the State Railway Group.

MOR: Govt Revenues poised to grow by 18% yoy

SHUNTIAN — Official data from the FEUSSR’s Ministry of Revenues shows that the nation’s fiscal revenue is projected to surge by 18.7% year-on-year in the next year, up from a 6% increase last year. Altogether, the MOR estimates that its fiscal revenue will totalled at $1,320,329,087,579 USD, or $1.32 trillion USD, representing an increase in revenues by $209 billion USD.

Researchers from the FEUSSR’s academic circles say that the projected growth of fiscal revenue is primarily driven by the nation’s steady economic recovery, various market reforms to increase economic output and productivity, as well as the increase in economic inflows from various free trade pacts the MOR has negotiated for the FEUSSR. For the current year, total revenues for the Federal government came in at $1,118,922,955,576 USD, or $1.118 trillion USD. Revenue from VAT increased nearly 20% from the same period last year, while corporate income tax saw an increase of 13.2% as well.

The increase in funding was also coincided by large increases in fiscal spending in areas of education, employment, and public health.

PDF posts record profits

Previously

XIANXIANG — The PDF’s business wing has posted record net profits this week, valued at $52 million USD.

The PDF’s business wing is large in size and in economic involvement, spanning a variety of industries from nuclear energy to simple cash crop farming. Originally established as the DPCO (Dongfang Production and Construction Office) almost 7 years ago, the PDF’s businesses are publicly traded in the form of 8 companies, which deal with information technology, plastics manufacturing, alcohol production, paper, nuclear energy, rice farming, soybean farming, and pig husbandry. Altogether, the PDF’s businesses have a total stock value of $112 million USD, while its annual revenues are in the ballpark of $116 million USD.

Its physical assets include 8 paper mills, 1 mask production facility, 1 nylon fabrication plant, 1 cotton mill with over 500 spinning spindles, 8 storage warehouses, 1 chemical processing plant, 8 pig farms with 200 hogs, and a variety of small shops and farms operated by veterans, paramilitary personnel, and off-duty personnel; this is all valued at $347 million USD. Its nuclear energy branch, Beifang Tianfu Energy Co., Ltd., handles the transport of uranium and thorium fuel from Canada for the AU’s ANUS project, and also takes a supplemental role in designing experimental nuclear warheads for ANUS. Tianfu Energy has also recently signed a MOU with the National Nuclear Corporation as a contractor for the construction of its 4 DHR-400 pool-type light-water reactors in Shuntian, Ulankhad, Shimen, and Kum-sok City. The DHR-400 operates at low temperatures and air pressure, is easy to operate and decommission, and is superior in cost as it only costs $1.5 billion USP and 3 years to construct. The DHR-400 is meant to be used to fuel the existing centralised heating systems of northern cities in the FEUSSR, which currently use coal.

The Outer Manchuria Paper Manufacturing Company - the PDF’s paper manufacturing wing - has also piloted its expansion into the newsmedia sector, which is expected to bolster its footprint substantially. The company has invested in the redevelopment of an old paper mill in Fushan, and aims to export its paper products worldwide. It also offers contract printing services for newspapers, along with the production of its own subscription magazine, named the Revolutionary Times, which explores a plethora of topics from politics and the economy to food recipes and memes.

FEUSSR’s manufacturing activity accelerates

SHIMEN — The FEUSSR’s manufacturing activity expanded at the fastest pace in three years as factories cranked up production across the board.

Improving domestic and global demand added further momentum to the growth in manufacturing. The manufacturing Purchasing Manager's Index (PMI) rose to 51.9 from 50.6 last month, remaining above the 50-point mark that separates growth from contraction for 3 years. It had also surpassed analyst expectations, which were 0.9 points lower at 51.0. New orders also grew at their fastest in three years, particularly for export orders due to high foreign demand and lessened trade barriers for many of the FEUSSR’s trade partners.

The FEUSSR had warded off the effects of a continuous recession for many years due inherited from the previous administration by focusing on its First Five Year Plan and encouraging individual SSRs to create their own as well, which helped with nationwide and localised job creation and economic output. Furthermore, market reforms aimed to curb private sector corruption, anti-competitive behaviour, and DED attempts to deregulate certain sectors of the economy has helped the FEUSSR’s economy mount a rapid turnaround. The massive public works projects many local authorities have partook in have led to factory-gate prices accelerating at their fastest pace in more than two years, while industrial output surged as well.

Enhanced trading links with other AU member states abroad has allowed surveyed firms to receive adequate imports of raw materials, leading to higher quantity and quality production, and shortened delivery timeframes. That being said, recent attempts to deleverage and cut debt may cast some dark clouds over the sustainability of high percentile growth, although policies aimed at promoting growth in certain sectors, while also emphasising quality growth over quantitative growth may help ease worries of a dramatic slump.

Ussuri SSR People’s Govt announces hydroponics plans

HAISHENWAI — The Ussuri SSR People’s Government has piloted the construction of 3 hydroponics farms inside the port city of Haishenwai, seeking to use the easily controllable agricultural technology to boost the city’s food supply and improve its overall food security.

The Ussuri SSR has said that this new initiative is a response to a more volatile climate. Just several months ago, the city was stricken with crippling ice storms that made certain neighbourhoods inaccessible and caused blackouts for 150,000 homes. Such extreme weather events may foreshadow vulnerabilities to the region’s agricultural sector - which focuses on the growth of rice, milk, eggs, and vegetables - and as weather becomes more and more unpredictable, there exists a need to better control such hostile variables to ensure that food security can be consistently met.

The 3 hydroponics farms are self-contained hydroponic growing systems that will enable the city government to grow fresh, affordable produce for its locals. Each of the hydroponics farms, based on the American Flex Farm concept, comes with a price tag of $5,000 USD each, and can grow 12 kilograms of produce per month. The crops only require an excess of 2 hours of care per month to grow, and can be plugged into a standard electrical outlet to function. Each of the farms occupy less than 1 square meter of space and do not make use of any chemicals, being able to serve up to 1,900 families per year with a harvest of over 3,000 plants.

The city has expressed its commitment to answering the city’s long-term demand for food, especially for members of the homeless and unemployed community. City authorities have said that 3 soup kitchens will be established adjacent to the 3 hydroponics farms, each with the capacity to provide around 900 hot meals per day. Excess harvest will be repackaged as compost and distributed for free to rural farmers.

The city authorities have released a plan to purchase 15 more of these hydroponics farms at a cost of $75,000 USD over the next 2 years. It has also explored the growth of a more diverse range of crops, including rice, citrus fruits, and other tropical fruits for its food charity efforts.

Ministry of Works to begin production of Resource-renewable Boiling Water Reactor

LÜDA — The Ministry of Works has approved the construction of the FEUSSR’s first Resource-renewable Boiling Water Reactor, after it approved a tech and intellectual property transfer with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Imperial Eagle.

The Ministry of Works purchased the relevant rights and technologies to build and modify the reactor for $8 billion USD, announcing that the FEUSSR’s first unit will be constructed at the port city of Lüda at a cost of $2 billion USD, to be complete in 2 years. The domestically produced variant of the American BWR will be designated as the Chollima Nuclear Reactor, with the Department of Energy having drawn up a plan to construct 2 more units in the Chosun SSR over the next 30 years. The Chollima design was long sought after by the DoE due to its ability to breed and burn trans-uranium elements using a multi-recycling process, allowing it to act as a long-term energy supply while also reducing the negative environmental impacts generated by spent nuclear fuel.

The DoE aims to use the Chollima reactors as a means to help dispose of the nation’s nuclear waste, in its bid to lessen the potential for polluting and contaminating the nation’s pristine natural beauty. With collaboration with the Department of Environmental Research, the DoE has greenlighted a nationwide initiative to reduce GHG emissions by mandating a switchover to B5 biodiesel for all vehicles that are currently fuelled with petrodiesel in a 3 year period. B5, which is a 5% biofuel blend with 95% conventional diesel fuel, was chosen by the DoE as it requires no separate labeling required at the pump, and are generally approved for safe operation in any compression-ignition engine designed to be operated on petrodiesel. This means that a variety of diesel cars and trucks, tractors, boats, and electrical generators can be run on B5, minimising the impact of a B5 switchover for vehicle users and operators. Vehicles that do not make the B5 switch after the allocated 3 years will have their registered owners fined $50,000 USP; continued infractions will result in the confiscation and impounding of the vehicle.

This switch to B5 will lead to a 5% reduction in GHG emissions.

The two departments - along with the People's National Ocean Service - have also begun to deploy thousands of artificial reefs to the oceans in the Sea of Japan and Yellow Sea. The artificial reefs will include a mix of purpose-built structures such as breeze blocks and tires, but also waste products such as construction rubble, waste tires, furniture, and even unused car hulks or dead trees. The deployment of such artificial reefs can promote marine life and settlement in the areas, and consequently provide a huge range of benefits to fisheries and ocean ecosystems. By doing so, the PNOS and DER hope to actualise an end goal of making life under the seas more sustainable in the future.

The Union is always happy to aid those nations who seek to prevent pollution with nuclear waste and also seeking to use the best and cleanest methods of power. These reactors, having been in use within the Union for well over a decade or more now, will provide clean and safe power to the people of the FEUSSR for years to come. We look forward to more deals in the field of clean and renewable power in the future.

It has been made a priority by the Soviet of the Union that the peoples of Arabia and East Asia should begin engaging in more deep, comprehensive bilateral ties with one another. Bilateral cooperation is mutually beneficial for both our peoples, emerging from the deep potential for cooperation between us. As the Emirate emerges as the regional leader in the Middle East, and as we emerge as the regional powerhouse of the East, we must both work together, sooner rather than later, to construct more comprehensive schemes of cooperation that will impact trade, culture, society, technology, military affairs, and infrastructure.

The two countries mutually complement each other. Let us see a brighter future together.
The FEUSSR wishes to dispatch Ambassador Tai Wuling to the Emirate to serve as diplomatic envoy. Furthermore, the FEUSSR also expresses interest in improving bilateral collaboration in the fields of trade, by suggesting the following tentative trade agreement, labelled the Far Eastern-Arabian Selective Trade Agreement:

  • The FEUSSR will waive all tariffs for scrap copper and raw aluminium from the Emirate;

  • The Emirate will reduce tariffs by 15% for cars from the FEUSSR;

  • The Emirate will waive all tariffs for fabrics and textiles from the FEUSSR;

  • The FEUSSR will reduce tariffs by 25% for all refined petroleum products from the Emirate;

  • The FEUSSR will reduce tariffs by 15% for all crude petroleum products from the Emirate;

  • The Emirate will waive all tariffs for telephones from the FEUSSR;

  • and lastly, both nations commit to enforcing fair, free, and transparent market practices with one another.

Ti Nung Cha Chaiyachue Arrested / ตี้โหน่งจ่าเฉยจับ / 恐怖分子领导人被捕

After months of investigation and following leads given to the Confederation Troopers, Ti Nung Cha Chaiyachue, the leader of the terrorist group responsible for the death of Chairman Mailam I, has been arrested. Following her actions, she would've faced charges that would have resulted in her death. However, with the abolishment of the death penalty, Ti Nung Cha is set to face charges that will result in multiple life sentences. The following is the ruling by the Supreme Court of Indochina:

    2 counts of treason against the Confederation of Indochinese States (30 years, each; 60 years, total)

    1 count of targeted killing against an official of the High Government (25 years)

    1 count of assassination of an important person in the Confederation (life sentence, 100 years total)

Based on the justice system in Indochina, only one crime can be served for at a time. The actual total of Ti Nung Cha's sentence stands at 185 years in prison. The High Justice of the Confederation has issued that Ti Nung Cha will also not be able to have a bond nor a term of parole. Confederation Troopers are still hunting down the remaining individuals that still have allegiance to Ti Nung Cha.

The FEUSSR is understanding of the Caliphate's response to its invitation, and reminds the esteemed Emir that the invitation will remain open should the Caliphate wish to reconsider. That being said, the AU welcomes the Caliphate's entrance as a strategic partner; we hope to be able to cultivate more meaningful relations in the future, starting off by consolidating our pre-existing relationships and opening lines of collaboration onto more fronts across the board.

On another note, the FEUSSR shall dispatch its diplomatic envoy to the Caliphate in Riyadh at a time of the Caliphate's choosing; it will also be honoured to receive the esteemed and respected Emir in Kum City, Chosun.

Interesting developments across the political sphere today as an anonymous poll executed across the nation to discover the voting intentions of the average Transuralian citizen has revealed what is likely to be of concern to the ruling party. The poll received and analysed the voting intentions of over 5,000 people of voting age and found the following:

Transuralian Communist Party - 67%

One Transuralia - 12%

TDR Liberals - 6%

Kazakh Autonomy Party - 4%

Other/Don’t know - 11%

For those who aren’t aware, the ideological positions of the most popular parties are; Syncretism (Transuralian Communist Party), Conservatism (One Transuralia), Liberalism (TDR Liberals), Islamic Democracy (Kazakh Autonomy Party).

These results will be concerning for a government that is not used to the potential of having to negotiate with another party or group to govern. Although the next election is unlikely to be a problem for the Communist Party, the subsequent years will likely see continued growth for the opposition. In particular, a 4% in the polls for the Kazakh Autonomy Party means a large number of the Kazakh population is voting for more regional rights and potentially even independence.

TAIPEI. A frightening train accident in Taiwan caused dozens of deaths. According to the latest police update, at least 36 people have died and 72 injured. But the toll could be much worse because there are dozens of injured. Rescuers have already extracted 60 people from the first carriages and transported them to the hospital. The incident occurred around 9:30 am, north of the coastal city of Hualien.
The train, consisting of eight carriages, was heading from Taipei towards the city of Taitung, in the south-eastern part of the island and was overcrowded, at least 350 passengers on board: it derailed inside a tunnel and some carriages went crash into the wall. The accident was allegedly caused by a construction vehicle that was not parked properly on a nearby slope. The incident coincides with the start of a long holiday weekend, the festival of the cleaning of the graves (Festival Ching Ming), in which many people travel. The eastern Taiwan railway line is also a tourist attraction because it runs along the less inhabited and more spectacular coast of the island: a route that winds through tunnels and bridges between spectacular mountains and gorges and then descends towards the Huadong valley.

PRINCES AND FORMER MINISTERS ARRESTED IN MASHRIQ CALIPHATE CORRUPTION PROBE

2nd April | Riyadh: 6 princes, 4 former Members of National Assembly and 14 former government officials have been arrested on orders from the new anti-corruption committee headed by His Highness Emir of Abu Dhabi Muhammad bin Hamad al Nahyan on Friday evening according to sources.

The committee announced that it is reopening the file of the 1988 coup of Arabia and investigating the 2015 Riyadh Riots.
Those arrested include the Crown Prince of The Sheikhdom of Yemen as well as the Crown Prince of The Sheikhdom of Qahtan, both of whom have been known to be vocal against the government over the Islamic Sects Recognition Act 2015, which granted equality of status and opportunity to all sects of Islam, which led to the Sunni-Shia Riots of 2015.

The Emir of Najd, the Sheikh of Qahtan & the influential House of Saud have all objected to this move, with the House of Saud calling it a "misuse of power" by the Emir of Abu Dhabi. It is interesting to note that the Crown Prince of Yemen, Yusuf Ali Al-Mas'ud, is currently in a succession rivalry with his younger brother, Abdul Karim Abdullah Al-Hamid, who is known to have good relations with the al-Nahyan Royal family of Abu Dhabi, and played a role in the Arab Nationalist movement in 2003.

According to a Royal Decree issued by The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Emir of Hejaz, Khalifa Muhammad bin Omar Aladeen 2 weeks ago, the anti-corruption committee is chaired by the Emir of Abu Dhabi with the membership of: Chairman of the Monitoring and Investigation Commission, Chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Authority, Chief of the General Audit Bureau, Attorney General and Head of State Security.

The committee has the right to investigate, arrest, ban from travel, freeze accounts and portfolios, track funds and assets of individuals involved in corruption practices.

EX-MILITARY CHIEF OF THE CALIPHATE SENTENCED TO DEATH

2nd April | Jeddah : The Mashriq Caliphate's former Military Chief Ahmad Ali bin Fayed, commonly known by his initials ABF, has today been sentenced to death in absentia in the high treason case for supporting the Mohamadden coup launched in 1988 and upon being held responsible for Shia genocide of 1998, becoming the first person to receive the capital punishment this year. The government has already requested the government of the Arab African Republic of Egypt to deport him back to Mashriq soil as soon as possible.

A three-member bench of the special court, headed by Jeddah High Court Chief Justice Waqar Ahmad Rahman, pronounced the verdict in the landmark case launched in 2017 against the former Caliphate Army chief by the Emir of Bahrain, after the recent corruption crackdown revealed his involvement in the genocide.

According to the High Treason (Punishment) Act, 1973, the punishment for high treason against the state is death or lifetime imprisonment. In fact, this is the same law misusing which the Mohammadden government had justified the execution of important officials and royals who supported the erstwhile democratic union, as well as hundreds involved in the 2000-2003 Arab Nationalist Revolution.

ABF served as the Commander-in-Chief for the Mohammaden Resistance Army. ABF gave 'shoot at sight' orders, and was responsible for the death of an estimated 250 peaceful protestors gathered in Bahrain in May 1998, which came to be known as the Shia genocide.
After the Arab nationalists successfully came to power, the then 52 year old self exiled himself to Cairo, and could not be arrested since due to lack of evidence. In 2014 he was accused of being involved with the Muslim Brotherhood, but was acquitted again due to lack of evidence.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation | وزارة الطاقة والنقل والبنية التحتية

We express our sincerest gratitude in aiding us by deporting Mr. Ahmad Ali bin Fayed back to The Mashriq Caliphate. The guilty has been found to have committed the act of treason by joining the Mohammadan rebels, as well as playing a role in the Shia Genocide of 1998, and has thus been sentenced to death by the special court. As the case is linked to the Mohammaden coup of 1988, the guilty shall NOT be given the right to appeal to the Supreme Court de jure.
As such, the guilty shall receive beheading by sword in 2 weeks i.e. on the next to next Friday. The decapitation shall occur behind prison walls and not in a mass gathering, as opposed to the original law that was in practice even before the Mohammaden regime.

ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Peace be upon you, as well as the mercy of God and his blessings.
