Palace of the Republic, Plorvex

The Republic was in crisis. The sovereign was back.

Presdient Zulari Emektesh looked out through the large palace windows on to the ancient metropolis of Plorvex. Down on the streets, people were going on with their lives as if nothing had happened. She saw kids playing mageball on the streets, merchants selling exotic goods from the lands of Orium and elders relaxing in the warm-but-not-too-hot sun of the Riassi summer. It filled her with sadness, but also a great anger, that all of this, the peaceful lives the peoples of Rias had created, was at threat.

During the night, Zulari had received an ominous message from the sovereign: Surrender or get destroyed. The Tschevian Magical Association had fallen, and now the rest of Helios was on the chopping block. Zulari had tried to contact the association to confirm the rumors – it didn't hurt to double check – but she hadn't recieved an answer. As a last effort, she had contacted the former Riassi member of the Association, the old human wizard Ruewa Ytrikai, and fortunately he told her that Kelea, his young elven successor, hadn't been at the Association when it was attacked and was currently heading to Plorvex. It was a big relief that at least one member had survived.

Zulari called the leaders of all parliamentary parties to the palace. She had to inform them of the threat Rias was up against and she needed to know what to do now. All those years ago, all kingdoms in Rias had merged to form the Republic because of the same threat they were up against now, so it only made sense to include everyone in the decisionmaking.

--- --- ---

The room was silent. Everything you could hear was the faint sound of the streets below and the sound of coffee slowly dripping of the meeting table. One of the party leaders had spilled it from the chock.

There wasn't much to discuss. All leaders agreed to take part in a a new government of national unity aimed at protecting Rias at all cost. They had decided to stand up to the sovereign, just like their ancestors had all those years ago. They wouldn't surrender. Not today, not tomorrow, not in their lifetimes.

Rias was scared. Rias was unprepared. But the Riassis were ready to defend their homeland to their last breath if needed.

--- --- --- --- --- ---

Southern outskirts of Plorvex

Kelea Eritor, the Riassi member of the Tschevian Magical Association, had felt the fall of the Association. When it happened, she immediately contacted her master to see if he had information on survivors, but he didn't know anything.

Knowing that the return of the Sovereign was imminent, she sped up her travel to Plorvex. The government would find out what had happened at any moment, and Kelea wanted to be there to assist them as much as she could.

When Kelea entered through the city gates, all the activity almost overwhelmed her. She thought the government would have told the citizens of the threat by now. She worried that something bad had happened, but hoped that she was just early.

When she got to The Palace of the Republic, however, the places was completely locked down. The windows had been closed and guards were on high alert. She did not struggle to imagine why that was.

Horn Camp Day 3
Teresko and Leoter woke up for their daily tasks. They then went to find Gaseplo to get their tasks.
"Here is your task sheet," said Gaseplo.
It said:
Daily Tasks

  • 1. Light the campfire

  • 2. Look after the baby Ravengers

  • 3. Find a Polisiako stone

They then did their tasks (WILL BE EXPLAINED) and headed to the hike.
"Hello," said someone. "Are you here for the hike?"
"Yes, we are," said Teresko. "Here are tickets."
He then handed the tickets to the person.
They then went to see their guide.
"Hello, I'm your guide Taeskil," said a Ravenger. "The hike is starting now, so come!"
They started hiking up the the mountain.

Zapádia, Western Region.
17/02/127

The great mage Elyndra, the member of the Magic Council, Drael, and the magic apprentice Kael. Seventeen days after arriving in Zapádia, they were welcomed by a village of Orsans, where they remained while the great mage recovered her strength and Drael slowly regained consciousness and recovered from the wounds he suffered during the battle.

Kael, wearing winter clothes he had made himself with the help of the Orsans, entered a cabin carrying a basket of medicine and an ancient grimoire of healing magic.

After entering, he removed his hood and placed the basket on a pile of hay where Drael lay.

Suddenly, he noticed that one of the Orsans was sitting beside Drael, quietly watching over him.

Kael walked over and gently patted the great Orsan on the head. By now, the creature had become one of his closest friends.

Kael: – (Sigh...) I don't know what I would have done without you... All of this is... No... I can't cry now... Not again... Lyra... Professor Liora... Ibinos... Trombaforte... Even Yuri... I never wanted any of this to happen... It's so unfair...

After that, he embraced the Orsan, pulled his hood back over his head, and quietly left the cabin, leaving only the Orsan and Drael inside.

The great bear lay down beside the Eldren and gave Drael's face a huge lick with its enormous tongue.

Moments later, Drael's eyes suddenly flew open after days of unconsciousness.

Drael: – AAAAAAAH!! WHAT?!?

Wh-What's happening...? Wait...!

ZERAKH?!? ELYNDRA?!? ...AND WHAT ARE YOU?!?

The Orsan became excited to see him awake and happily licked Drael's face several more times before running out of the cabin.

A few seconds later, it returned alongside the legendary elf, Elyndra.

Drael: – Oh... Elyndra! You're here!

said the Eldren, relieved and overjoyed.

Elyndra: – So... you've finally awakened. Tell me... what do you remember?

Drael: – Straight to the point, huh?

Well... When the trio broke into the secret chamber, and then that happened...

Drael presses his hands against the scar left by Eldros's wound.

– And then I remember that demoness cutting a demon child's wrist and... No... That didn't happen, did it?

Elyndra: – Yes... Somehow, they managed to bring The Sovereign back...

Drael: – No... No, no... And what do we do now? Here... Where is here? And the other Council members? Did they do NOTHING?!?

Elyndra: – I used a portal, and we ended up here, in Zapádia, by accident. Besides that, Valtherion and everyone else who was in the secret chamber died... Except for us and The Sovereign.

The conversation is interrupted when the same Orsan from before enters the cabin with another Orsan, alongside Kael.

Kael: – Hey, Elyndra. Can you believe they dragged me all the way to...

Drael?!? You're awake! Oops... Council Magic Member, the great mage Drael, you're awake!

Drael is startled by Kael's presence and tries to reach for his wand, but can't find it. He then tries to improvise, reaching for a wooden branch fixed to the wall. But Elyndra quickly notices his intention and shoots him a terrifying glare, making him stop and wait.

Elyndra: – Kael, I know you've helped a great deal, but I need to speak with Drael completely alone.

Kael: – Oh... Yes, of course...

A bit disheartened, he leaves the cabin along with the Orsans.

Drael remains silent for a few seconds.

Drael: – Why did you bring that demon here, Elyndra? It was because of him that...

Elyndra: – He's just a child. And besides, he was unconscious. He doesn't even know it himself.

Drael: – What?! What?!? Don't tell me that, Elyndra! You're going to let a demon stay here?!

Elyndra: – You know very well, Drael.

Drael: – But, after all of this... Can I still trust demons?

Elyndra: – By the way, don't tell him about this. If anyone asks anything, just say he's a half-beast, nothing more. Understood?

Drael: – ...

Elyndra: – Do you understand?

Drael: – Yes... "Great mage" Elyndra.

Elyndra: – Excellent. In two days, we'll head toward the nearest portal, south of Urkhuz. By now, The Sovereign must be gathering his forces. We need to reach Riassi... Or at least try.

"WhatDo We Do Now?" (Part 3)
Norval Plains, Kingdom of Helios
18/02/127

The Sovereign's army drew ever closer to Altiria. All that remained was to cross the Ossipak Mountains through the region of Rechol. The fall of Altiria would pave the way for the conquest of southern Helios and, eventually, every continent of Albastru.

Facing the countless Maulian legions, the Sovereign reorganized his forces. His army had grown far too vast to be commanded by a single leader, and on that day new generals were appointed, each placed at the head of their own army to lead the coming invasion.

Bellum, the War.
The newly appointed commander of the Maulian Golden Army. Bellum is a golden leonine beastman of immense strength and imposing stature. Once a king and warlord of Aramya in northern Helios, he spent decades waging endless wars, conquering kingdoms for the sheer joy of battle. When his homeland could no longer satisfy his thirst for war, he abandoned his throne and joined the Maulians to fight forever.
He was given command of the Golden Army.

Sylvara, the Plague.
A human witch who extended her life far beyond its natural limits through forbidden magic. Born in Altir, she pioneered the fusion of botanical magic with dark arts, causing forests to wither or awaken at her command, while cursed roots, thorns, and flowers transform battlefields into living nightmares.
Upon being appointed general, the Sovereign entrusted her with the skull of Kaelira, the Obsession, allowing her to study and wield its forbidden power.
She was given command of the Pale Army.

Yuri/Karselo, the Chimera.
After the dragon Karselo was slain by Elyndra, the great mage and founder of Tschevian, the Sovereign fused the dragon's corpse with Yuri's body, creating a monstrous draconic chimera. The creature behaves like a savage beast, yet fragments of both Yuri's and Karselo's memories and knowledge remain buried deep within its mind.
Upon returning to Rias, it was appointed a Maulian general.
It was given command of the Indigo Army.

Azakel, the Void.
A Black Demon and absolute master of forbidden dark magic. Cold, emotionless, and relentless, he is regarded as one of the greatest practitioners of forbidden magic in history.
During the assault on the Tschevian Magic Association, he single-handedly annihilated the Magic Security Council before advancing into the Association itself, slaughtering more than five hundred mages.
He was given command of the Black Army.

Ignivar, the Irony.
A young demon from the continent of Orion. Despite his impeccable manners, friendly smile, and charismatic personality, he is one of the greatest masters of magic, specializing in combining flame magic with forbidden magic—a black fire capable of consuming not only flesh and stone, but even barriers and spells.
Unlike the other generals, he treats both allies and enemies with remarkable courtesy, remaining calm and cheerful even in the midst of battle. Even so, a single order from the Sovereign is enough for him to reduce entire cities to ashes without the slightest hesitation.
He was given command of the Crimson Army.

Front of the Maulian Army
Norval Plains, Kingdom of Helios

18/02/127

The newly appointed generals marched at the head of the army. Before them walked the Sovereign; behind them stretched the endless legions.

Ignivar cleared his throat, breaking the silence.

Ignivar: – Well... so, everyone, what do we do now?

No one answered. Ignivar let out an exaggerated sigh and walked over to Azakel, lightly poking him on the shoulder.

Ignivar: – Are you all just going to ignore me? Hey, Azakel, what's your hobby? I don't know... books, music, maybe even dancing? Come on, my friend.

Azakel continued walking, his eyes fixed straight ahead without even turning his head.

Azakel: – ...

Ignivar: – Seriously? You're just going to leave me hanging like that?

He then turned toward Bellum, who was walking a few steps ahead, his broad shoulders swaying with every heavy stride.

Ignivar: – What about you, Bellum?

Bellum: – Hm? What?

Ignivar: – Do you have any hobbies?

Bellum: – Hobbies?

Ignivar: – Yeah! Something you enjoy doing to pass the time.

Bellum let out a short, gravelly laugh.

Bellum: – War. It is the pinnacle of existence—the force that has driven Albastru since the beginning and will continue to do so forever. It is one of life's natural laws.

Ignivar: – Ah, war! Sounds like a lot of fun for you, then. Good for you, my friend.

A few steps behind them, Sylvara spoke without bothering to come any closer.

Sylvara: – It's nothing but meaningless destruction. Something terrible. At best... a necessary evil.

Bellum stopped in the middle of his stride and turned to face her. The other generals kept marching; only Ignivar stopped beside them, watching with curiosity.

Bellum: – Meaningless? Terrible?! Sylvara, do you even hear yourself? War is one of the pillars of existence. Without it, there would be no glory in battle, no violence to forge everything we are.

Sylvara: – You only say that because you spent decades oppressing Aramya and the North. Have you ever stopped to think about the other side?

Bellum: – War is good for both sides. It is natural. Saying war is evil is like saying water is harmful. What you're saying makes no sense, old witch.

Sylvara: – What? That comparison doesn't even make sense!

Ignivar raised both hands, trying to calm them down.

Ignivar: – Hey, everyone! Let's stop arguing and keep walking. Remember, we're all friends here!

Sylvara: – What? Of course we're not. Where did you even get that idea?

Bellum: – I agree with the old witch.

Hey! Cynthra, Trombosnia Reborn And lRiassi !)

From the Skies

The Heavenly Army stood silently, a row of silver armor stretching across the clouds, their shadows cast like ink across the ground. General Man Zu and Riu Tao stood side by side, heading the armor aboard their phantom horses, beasts of the black smoke and wind. Normally, the soldiers would be dispersed among the heavens, guarding the emporer or simply lounging in the springs of Ciu Miu. But not today. Today, the whole army stood. Ready to fight. Ready to die. The Sovereign, the largest threat ever seen by the entire heavens and hells, had returned. The chaos Sun Wukong had ensued all those years ago would be child's play compared to the Sovereign. His resurrection spelled doom for all, mortal or god. He must be stopped, no matter what.

Dawn, Norval Plains, Helios

Man Zu watched in disgust as the Maulians marched below them. He turned to Riu Tao, shaking his head. "Such simpletons. Such evil. They hold no merit nor honour."

Riu Tao nodded, then turned to address the men.

"My brothers, my fellow honourable guardsmen. Below lie the troops of the sovereign, a wicked, twisted, heartless wretch who seeks nothing but death and destruction. An abomination, a freak of nature, a ruthless spineless dictator-"

Man Zu whacked him with the hilt of his sword.

"Yes he's evil, get to the point."

Riu Tao glared at him before sighing. "Alright. Everyone kill them"

And with a thunder that shook the skies, the soldiers descended

Arriving at Cynthra.

Neris finished tending to one of the sick men of ship. Funneling mixture of Fire and Water upon his body. Despite the importance given to the role of healers many casters and even more casual folk did not fully understand the specifics of the healing arts. Any child, broodling and/or bud could tell that Water was an important essence to draw from to provide vitality to a person, such that an affinity to Water was very much required to be a professional healer. However few knew the benefits of the destructive quality of the Fire essence to the sickly, specially when dealing with infections. A spell merely utilizing Water certainly could do wonders, from stopping bleeding to even regrowing whole limbs if the caster was skilled enough. But there was an insiduous nature to it, specially if one did not know how to properly manage the flow of the essence and what it affected. Water was the very essence of life, motion and energy and while it aided the body in fighting whatever foreign force was causing harm, it was also perfectly capable of exciting the invaders.

The nereid had to keep careful focus, applying the advanced healing technique. She had done it before many times, but no matter how many times she practiced this it did not make meticulous manipulation less important, lest the Fire shift it's focus towards her patient. Her sense were dulled, every stimuli muted as she maintained this trance like state. So focused was she that she had missed when the lookout gave signal they were approaching the coast of Cynthra. The Orium region was a conglomeration of kingdoms and states. A most unusual condition taking the more centralized nation she hailed from.

Eventually Neris pulled from the dormant sailor, having completed her 'dosage' of the spell. With no more wounded or sick to treat she got up and began moving towards the hull. Her mood uplifting at the news they were finally reaching the lands of the southwest. Their vessel had to take some divergences due to an unexpected storm, delaying their trip significantly. But in the end the greater wait had only given her more anticipation to explore. Consulting with their captain she knew they would be arriving at city of Reyva, a mainly human settlement though one bordering Elvish lands. With hope crossed on her, metaphorical, heart Neris was ready for what this new chapter of her adventure would hold.

Horn Camp - Day 4
They started hiking up the mountain, passing huge stones, animals and caves. They passed over the Carathordiân, a place where many wars have taken place. Then in the cave of Tearópak, they saw a glowing light, a dark, mysterious purple glow.
"What is that?" asked Teresko.
"I don't know," said Leoter. "I don't think we must go in."
"I'm going in," said Teresko. "I'll be back."
Then he went into the cave, where he found a horn, a ravenger horn, he picked it up and took it out of the cave. But when he went out of the cave, he couldn't find the exit, then he tripped on a rock, and fell off a cliff on the mountain, then he started floating, and heard a voice, it said: "Cacath Doteq asabeth!" ("Shall evil be gone!") and he was lifted up to the exit of the cave. When he made it to the exit he told Leoter and Taeskil what had happened.
"A magic ravenger horn?" said Taeskill "I've tales of power horns; they are said to have the power erase evil. No matter how hard you train you can never do what power horns can, you are not trained in magic, so you do not have the power to control a power horn, it will do what it wants, and not what you want. If you want to wield a power horn in battle, you'll have to go learn magic."
"So, what do I do with it?" said Teresko.
"Give it to Iranefos, he will handle it, for now let's continue the hike," answered Taeskill.
They climbed over rocks and climbed to the peak of the mountain. They saw a wonderful view, until the power horn started glowing again
"Why is it glowing?" said Leoter.
"It means there is evil about," said Taeskill. "Quickly! Let's get down and warn everyone!"
They climbed down as fast as possible, and whilst they were climbing, they saw something in the distance.
"ORCS!!" cried Taeskill as they climbed down. "Everyone orcs!!"
The village went into panic; they sent a messenger to call for help. Help arrived soon, and the orcs broke in, to Horn Camp, they made the orcs go to Carathordiân, but then the orcs started winning.
The orcs were killing everyone in their way until...
"THE ELVES, THE ELVES ARE HERE!" said Taeskill.
An army of three hundred and eleven thousand elves came into battle they fought off the orcs untill few were left but, then a giant orc had entered the village, it was too strong for the elves to handle. Then the power horn floated up and struck lightning on the orcs, creating a fire that only damaged evil, soon the orcs were wiped out.
"The power horn of Tearópak has been found!" said the leader of horn camp. And a few days later after the end of horn camp, Leoter and Teresko traveled to Iranefos and gave him the horn.
"Thank you for giving me this," said Iranefos. "I will now give you gold and jewels."
TO BE CONTINUED...

THE WAR OF EÀRTHROTAECH
In the small town of Eârthrot life was peaceful, but winter was approaching and Eârthrot was on the mountain of Snowarlo in the north. In winter the town can get to -13 degrees Celsius, and the lake gets frozen, and snow starts to fall.
The elves were arriving at that time, after the battle at Horn Camp.
"Baach Larat!" said the people as the elves approached. Then winter came, and terrible storms of dread came, and in the most dreadful storm, that they named Carachonach, the orcs attacked. They sent messengers to Iranefos, and he sent reinforcements, but when they got there, three hundred and nine thousand more orcs came rushing in, and everyone was filled with dread and fear. Then the King approached and Naigreath king of elves in Ravengainia, and they both fought Casebath, the orc leader, and both were slain. Then Meawath son of Iranefos took up his father's sword and stabbed Casebath and cut his head off, and the sword broke and its pieces were kept safe and it was soon remade. But the war continued on and the orcs still had the upper hand, but Meawach slew them all, and they won the war, which was later named EÀRTHROTAECH, "Dark Lake of dread". And Meawach became king of Ravengainia and became the fairest of all men, Meawach, Elve Lover.
(OOC: "Then the King approached and Naigreath king of elves in Ravengainia, and they both fought Casebath, the orc leader, and both were slain.
