At 11:28AM today Kuettan aircraft based at Beira Airport successfully attacked the bridge on route EN7 crossing the Mozawe river.
Under cover of Mig 29 combat air partrol, 4 SU25 aircraft bombed the bridge, breaching it in two places and cratered the approaching road from the west. The EN7 road being the only route through difficult terrain from Independent zimbabwe to the the Shariq town of Tete, which Zimbabwean nationalists currently illegally occupy.
The intention of this raid is to make it difficult to supply the occupation forces on the western bank of Tete without directly causing loss of life at this time. However further raids will follow if the Zimbabwean forces do not withdraw.
