The Equatorial Forests of Uan aa Boa is a gargantuan, safe nation, ruled by Adema Pula with an iron fist, and renowned for its smutty television, irreverence towards religion, and suspicion of poets. The compassionate, cynical, humorless population of 13.96 billion Boanis are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The relatively small, socially-minded government is effectively ruled by the Department of Environment, although Education is also considered important, while Spirituality and Defense are ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Aa. The average income tax rate is 8.2%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The all-consuming Boani economy, worth 924 trillion labour notes a year, is driven almost entirely by government activity, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is mostly comprised of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 66,245 labour notes, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Adema Pula has been nicknamed 'Robomop', the new Refuse Hills housing development is under construction, prime real estate is devoted to wind farms and solar energy generators, and the volume of paperwork used to complete a single environmental assessment defeats the purpose. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Uan aa Boa's national animal is the solidarity bird, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

Uan aa Boa is ranked 88,707th in the world and 155th in Forest for Most Stationary, with 513.48615053532 days.
