The Equatorial Forests of Uan aa Boa is a gargantuan, efficient nation, ruled by Adema Pula with an even hand, and notable for its lack of airports, state-planned economy, and complete absence of social welfare. The compassionate, humorless population of 11.096 billion Boanis are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The tiny government is dominated by the Department of Environment, although Education and Social Policy are also considered important, while Spirituality and Defense receive no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Aa. The average income tax rate is 3.2%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The all-consuming Boani economy, worth 465 trillion labour notes a year, is driven almost entirely by government activity, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is mostly comprised of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 41,968 labour notes, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Ambitious "businessmen" use their children to sell and advertise their products, politicians tend to speak more loudly and slowly these days, shoppers have literally had their hands full since plastic bags were banned, and there is a dearth of space for new houses. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. Uan aa Boa's national animal is the solidarity bird, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

Uan aa Boa is ranked 249,390th in the world and 191st in Forest for Most Primitive, scoring -105.45 on the Scary Big Number Scale.
