The Helizi Puppet of Nihal is a mammoth, pleasant nation, renowned for its complete lack of prisons, pith helmet sales, and state-planned economy. The hard-nosed, democratic population of 5.102 billion Nihalians are prohibited from doing almost everything except voting, which they do timidly and conservatively.

The large, moralistic, socially-minded government prioritizes Administration, although Defense, Industry, and Healthcare are also considered important. The average income tax rate is 42.0%.

The large but inefficient Nihalian economy, worth 198 trillion forks a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a large, well-organized, quite specialized black market in Gambling, Tourism, Trout Farming, and Beef-Based Agriculture. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 38,849 forks, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 4.4 times as much as the poorest.

Colonial citizens are forced to sing the praise of the "Great Nihalian Liberator", the government's fruit business reeks of rotting produce and corruption, school plays were recently banned due to concerns of child endangerment, and a murderous reputation can revitalise a flagging celebrity career. Crime, especially youth-related, is moderate, perhaps because of the country's complete lack of prisons. Nihal's national animal is the Militarized Penguin.

Nihal is ranked 161,741st in the world and 40th in Shots Puppets for Largest Publishing Industry, scoring 1,505.81 on the Bella Potter Productivity e-Index.
