The Sky Ship of Captain Orc is a titanic, socially progressive nation, renowned for its irreverence towards religion. The hard-working population of 13.096 billion Captain Orcians are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The tiny, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Education, and Defense. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 6.6%.

The very strong Captain Orcian economy, worth 902 trillion Golds a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Trout Farming, Woodchip Exports, and Book Publishing. Average income is 68,949 Golds, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 222,836 per year while the poor average 16,122, a ratio of 13.8 to 1.

Crime is a problem, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Captain Orc's national animal is the Fairy.

Captain Orc is ranked 121,549^th in the world and 1^st in Ship for Largest Welfare Programs, scoring 1,187.49 on the Safety Net Mesh Density Rating.
