Hello all. Grew a bit bored in my isolation and decided to check in. Moving my WA here for the foreseeable future but doubt I will have time to be on much. I’m working out moving (again, this time looking like it’ll be about a six hour drive from where I’m at now). Hope you are all holding up well with the craziness wherever abouts you are.

Sup. Its been awhile. The new RP(on discord) is doing well and were working on adding on to the lore and such. Were doing a joint roleplay with the The Free Nations Region called Dream World. Though the Dream World talks have been paused for now since many of the FNR peeps are busy. Im planning to work on the Roleplay Timeline to fit in with the original Abbaddon lore. Since I read some of the original forums of the original Abbaddon Roleplay. But its good to meet you Sir Frankland.
Honestly I think Frankland is better. But its your choice.
Anyway here is the Roleplay Timeline I am working on. It is mostly on the new Abbaddon roleplay were doing in the Abbaddon discord. But I plan to add some stuff on the lore to it.

Kopmakian Years: +124 years
Example: It is 2014. For Kopmakia it would be the year 2138. 124 years of difference between their calendar and the usual Abbaddonian calendar.
Stickin Years: +10,000 years
Example: It is 2014. For Stickin the year would be 12,014.
Stickin's calendar is based on when civilization possibly first started. It is different from the usual Abbaddonian calendar.

I’m not a big discord person, I never liked it. I got used to forum-style slower pace communications. I might try it again sometime soon, but some of old farts got used to how things were done more than a decade ago. :)
Well forum-style is better in the way that people don't do wars on who can type the fastest. Cause we have done wars on discord and it ends up on who can type the fastest. So thats why we had to add War Mods to the discord roleplay. But they haven't done much at all.

Also, there’s a big part of me that does not like the fact that discord has voice channels. I think I’m the only one that doesn’t sit well with, but the oldest nation I can find of mine was created in August of ‘06. So I’ve been around NS longer than some new players have been alive. I don’t really like the idea of people my nieces and nephews age hanging around with people my age on Discord. Not sure why forum posts seem less personal, but to me they do.

Mhm, very true. Though it is excusable to be immature at 13, which is the minimum age to be onsite here.
I also think when you just start NS and discord has always been around, or you use discord for other things (I know it is popular with people who do gaming streams or live multiplayer games) it probably seems less jarring.
I mostly use Discord for multiplayer gameplay. Though others may see me active on roleplay. The majority of the time im on discord is for gameplay.
