Casshandrhialinjen/Valakhialinjen (The Casshandrhia Line/Valakhia Line) WIP
A complex series of ancient as well as modernized fortifications along the southern border of Valyrien. The garrisons of the Valarisk citadel-cities remain significant, but due to the current geopolitical situation with Myraxia, a portion of the resources and manpower has instead been invested in locations of greater strategic relevence. The great barrier of seamines in the south of Schfvartbukten is often counted as an extension of the defensive works.

Please turn your attention to a new regional poll....
The idea is, in the event of the password being kept (permanently or temporarily), we would hold a regional meeting where ideas could be thrown around to see what people feel should happen/is a good idea. One of the things Friendly island pointed out was the ease of communicating in the discord - potential people could come hang out with everyone there and get a sense for what the region and its inhabitants are like, and pretty much do everything short of participating in "Region-only" RPs, until we get the sense that they really are actually interested in joining (and whose call that would be to make is also something the region should discuss). Finding a way to continue to bring in new people would be a goal regardless of the results of the poll; the methods of doing so would just change.

So, a little update on our security situation...the clear sense of the Charter was to keep the password in place until we could hash out and implement a Security Protocol. We may have just avoided disaster: one of our 'quiet' members just left the Charter and joined (or returned to) the Lone Wolves, a region that prides itself on being the games "most active raider region."
We now need to come together to choose the best way forward. Ideally, we'd like everyone to participate in that directly, but not on the RMB, which is open to other's eyes. I'd like to encourage you all to visit the Discord site whenever it is convenient to discuss this. Please read through posts made prior to your arrival to facilitate conversation.
Attention, citizens of the Sovereign Charter
We would like to once again call everyone's attention to the discussion in the Discord about regional security. Since nobody has said much in there for a while, we're going to wait a bit longer, then try to start compiling the suggestions into proposal(s) for the regional security procedures going forward. If anyone has anything else they'd like to add, please drop by and add it, and look over what's already there.

Once, a long, long time ago, a good friend of mine asked me: "What's the meaning of life?" Well, at the time, I didn't have an answer for him. What is the meaning of life? What is the point of it all? Why are we here, on this ball of rock hurtling through the universe? Why, of all the rocks just like it, are we on this one? What's our incentive to keep going, knowing that we're just insignificant specks in a vast, uncaring galaxy?
I still don't have an answer for him. Anyway, here's a Red Rain post.
