Turns to good that fateful day
The Monday rain subsided
Leaving big white puffy clouds
The quiet serenity would soon give way, as things got very loud
Freedom was attacked, our whole way of life
Their sick minds were packed
With hatred and with strife
Tuesday morning
Changed without warning
We're still mourning those we lost that day
20 years went by
Still we wonder why
Evil attacked freedom from the sky
Moms and dads and kids were set for another day
Jobs to do, tests to take, working for their pay
In or out, maybe a show, they all had a plan
They had no clue that evil loomed, ready to attack our land
Freedom was attacked
Cowards on those flights
20 years we've all looked back
Standing for what's right
Tuesday morning
