Btw Calption where does the Renean military stand in this rp?

Probably more focused on the Navy and Air force, and over all slightly stronger than Michigans.

I feel like Renea used to be a large colonial empire that, for whatever reason, lost most of its smaller colonies and only retained the ones that were islands; it might not be any coincidence that islands happen to be really hard to invade. Regardless, it might be an Imperial Japan political situation where the army and navy hated each other, but, well, considering Renea doesn't even have any land borders, the navy won out. Maybe something like a shogunate for whatever reason? Hmm.

If that's the case, than perhaps Calption obtained its islands by taking it from the Renea colonial empire in a war somewhere in the mid 1800s, by launching a swift surprise attack before Renean reinforcements could come. With the Reneans giving up on retaking them after they get distracted by other wars in their sprawling colonial empire.

nation states should add in war with other nations.

All of the islands in the center were probably at some point or another a Renean colony, and I guess it just took on the entire world over its colonies and eventually lost. Probably a lot to do with a change in monarchs, with a new monarch that wasn't interested in colonies anymore (or maybe just a string of incompetent rulers), and plenty of land that was lost to native revolts that were too costly to suppress. The lost of land likely went hand in hand with the end of the cultural golden age and steady decline. There's probably Renean resentment towards, well, everyone who took their colonies, which lead to decades of steady military build up that resulted in its current place.

Being slightly ahead of Michigan would put me at the top of the hierarchy, and being mostly navy focused, Renea is the preeminent naval power. Renea also just so happens to want "its" land back and is potentially ruled by a military dictatorship puppeting the monarch... damn, am I the villain of this rp? Well well well... someone's gotta be Gyelidor in his absence.

For my military, I don't need to invest in a strong navy, my goals are on the mainland and not further. I don't think I'd lean too heavily towards air or ground, but I'd probably be more ground than air if I had to choose.

My nation is mainly air focused with moderate ground warfare possessing mostly bombers

Somehow my food quality went up after people became allowed to own deceased corpses.

I’m in aerial and naval superiority but the colony has a fraction of the power so.. it would prob rank second after Renea for naval superiority

My war attack strategy looks like this against navy powers Step one Sending.
Thirty percent of my military mostly Metal units To attack blocking them off using electro walls that can be made within 5 months. Basically, we already have a few of them. It just takes a while to assemble. Basically big Fishing net but made out of iron. And as wires that can electrocute ships and kill people with guns and armed units units. Also making sure our enemy underestimates step 2 Air force our air force Is one of our specialties And it's mostly used to take down navy units. So we especially designed our Air force to send out E m p's and bomb Nearby navy ships And our navy ships Do not have extremely powerful cannons but they have extremely Long range which can help keep us out of damage plus our air force Will obliterate most navy units I'm killing anyone on board Another strategy we have Is mass killing By any means necessary which drastically increases our unit's lifespan. Typically 1 unit can kil 23 units before death We also block trade and completely destroy Any resource that can help rebuild a country's maybe by blowing it up making it impossible To be near by gassing it and Making mines We also mass burn farmland using Polymac which causes mass fires this is how we win wars against navy powers
