*She pops up with a huge grin on her face, she throws boxes of hostess treats in front of you. She also shows you boxes of soda and energy drinks, she looks particularly excited about finding monster*

*Her face turns pale, you hear a shotgun being cocked behind you, you can feel the metal on the back of your head* That is a good find, along with two pretty little creatures... *The man behind you keeps his gun on the back of your head, three others walk towards Mao* What are two pretty little things like you doing alone out here, you never know what kind of creeps could be lurking around. *You feel his hand on the back of your neck*
*My entire body stiffens when he touches me. I look down and see my gun next to me and think about grabbing it but I don't want to risk it. I look at Mao with wide eyes, not sure what to do*

She runs over and hugs me but I drag both of you to the ground and we take cover as the other two guys start to shoot at us* Please tell me you know how to use that pistol!
3rd recon served a few tours in Afghanistan, Iraq, syria. Then, well came home.

I don’t know what I saw in him, honestly he probably got eaten. Look, I have nowhere to go and if you need an extra hand I’d be happy to help, I’m also pretty handy with firearms. I’ll work just for a place to stay if need be

*She nods, she does her hair up in a ponytail and the next day she’s doing yard work. Rose tugs on your arm* You and her talked a lot, do you know her?
*I grab my bag and stuff as much as I can in to it then help Mao gather up more*

*You throw everything into the back of the car, you start to see infected but Mao is nowhere to be seen. Just as the infected are nearly on top of you Mao jumps into the backseat and you take off. Mao shows off a huge backpack full of liquor. Things are uneventful for the next few hours as we pass into Georgia* How many small towns are nearby, could you check the map?
Don’t worry I’ll make her work, it’s like you taught me you have to earn your keep. *Andrea shows off her usefulness almost immediately by plowing the entire field in just a few hours, she walks up to your porch covered in sweat* All set for planting.... I can’t believe you guys are running a farm by yourselves, that’s a lot of work.
