Inner Ted Imazahvatia

After around 12 hours of silence, President Giordano has yet to make a speech or address the claim at all. However, at around 14 hours after the incident's occurrence, Vice Admiral Abati of the Solis Navy holds a press conference in which he states: "It is with full confidence in my heart that I can say the incident was not meant. We operate within our waters as we have always done, and as part of that we routinely test weapon systems. If a vessel has entered into our usual line of fire, it is not the responsibility of The Solis to change our actions.". Press reports afterwards report that Admiral Abati seemed to be blaming the Imazavatian ship for straying into Solis Waters.

The Solis
With the statement by the Solis President and after a day of silence the government responds during their annual meeting. The imperial overseer states: “your state violated international law. You fired into international waters knowing that a vessel could have been hit. And what right do you have to these waters as much as us. Furthermore it is your fault President Giordano that you seem inclined to claim this waters as your own.”. A few hours after the statement rumors that more naval vessels are being sent to defend Imazavatian shipping lanes in the region are starting to circulate.

President Giordano remains relatively radio silent, with only small rumours leaking out of the Presidential Residence as to his true thoughts of the situation. Meanwhile Vice Admiral Abati is questioned by the media again as he leaves his house to attend a naval meeting. One of the reporters asks 'Do you think you violated international law'. Abati, seemingly annoyed and losing his temper, responds harshly with: "The ships and guns that fire and operate these weapons systems were perfectly within our international waters. If a few rockets or shells go further than the boundaries on the map, they only go a few kilometers further at maximum. Furthermore many of these weapons systems are still experimental, we are still hardworking on replacing military hardware left from the era of the socialist government. If whoever rules Imazahvatia seems to believe we have violated international law, I suggest they begin reading the actual playbook." Admiral Abati then enters his car and drives away. All of this is released in newspapers the following morning.

The Solis
Instead of a response by the Imperial Overseer the admiral in charge of the task force ship that was hit makes an a paper ace in the senate. He claims the following: “my force was far from their country borders around 15km to be precise. It is the solis trying to provoke a response from our nation to drag us into a war. They attacked my ships full knowing the international community would support their claims.”. After this admiral speaks a senator chimes in: “they are trying to use this as a way to challenge our authority. These shipping lanes are of vital importance, this attack is the start of many as they will try and test the waters so to speak.”. The reports from the country after these speeches is described as a “patriotic fever” however the Grand Director the one needed to escalate this conflict has remind silent on the situation.

For now, it seems as if The Solis Government is brushing the issue off, continuing on with business as normal. In fact, 2 days after the speech in the Imazahvatian Senate, Solis battleships test new rocket systems, with about 17 explosions reported right on the boundary of Solis waters as the ships blow up several test buoys. Both the Naval Department and the President have remained silent on the state of affairs in Imazahvatia, with some news sources taking it as to mean the Solis Government doesn't even really care about the situation.

The Solis
The population of imazvatia has entered a patriotic fervor calling for war as admirals start to position their forces closer to the solis borders preventing any cargo ships from leaving or entering the area. Newspapers and television stations are calling this a “justified embargo” as any small vessels that don’t comply with the embargo are fired upon with high pressures of water. The grand director still hasn’t responded on the situation some wonder if he is even in the capital at all.

Finally, President Giordano seems to make his first statement on the issue. At a mass rally of The Children of The Sun (The Solis' State-Controlled Youth Organisation), The President gets up and makes a speech to the crows of around 10,000 13-18 year olds. In which The President seems to get the crows riled up, his voice nearing a yell as his speaks the following: "I ask only this of you, you youth of the future, shall you come to your nations need when it is asked of you?! Will you, honouring the traditions of your fathers and forefathers, take up the mantle of defending our great nation, and fight until you have sweat enough to fill the very oceans themselves?! Our nation has come under attack before and no doubt shall it again! But you, as the future of this nation, as The Children of The Sun, blessed by God, shall pick up your rifles, and drive the enemies out! You shall use all your strength, and wipe the vipers from our land!". The crowd applauds, cheers, and salutes. The statement is ambiguous at best, and doesn't even technically mention Imazahvatia, but to many, the intention of the speech is not hard to deduce.

The Solis
The grand director finally makes an appearance as he returned from his trip to undisclosed scientific center. In front of millions watching and thousands in attendance he delivers a speech in Gem city. He says “it has come to my attention that the nation of solis. Has seemingly challenged our control over important shipping lanes. I ask you the loyal citizens of this country to prove that regardless of our history we will prove once again how strong our nation is. If truly believe in this country I call upon you one again to join our armed forces in glorious war.”. the crowd present cheers and applauses as the patriotic fever is clear as day. however although mentions of solis were present it is unclear to some if the Grand Director truly wants war with a small nation, As the years of Imazavatian expansionism is long over.

The day after the speech by the grand director, The Solis Navy tests one of its largest Surface-to-Air missiles in its arsenal. The missile detonates within Solis waters, however, the explosion is large, to the point where many ships in the shipping lane can still feel the wind from the explosion or hear its boom in the distance. Those ships that are close enough can even see the mushroom cloud of smoke peeking over the horizon. It is tantalizingly close, yet still legal.

The Solis
With the testing of the missile the Imazavatian navy ramps up its embargo in response as they’ve started to fire on ships not respecting the embargo. Although some solis civilians ships are left alone like cruise ships to avoid a mass tragedy. And not put the country in a poorer light then it already is.

Inner Ted Imazahvatia

The Solis Navy starts firing Surface to Air Missiles that detonate whilst in the air like flak shot. The missiles creating an almost threatening and dangerious fireworks show as a warning to the ships enforcing the embargo.

The Solis
The two boats incident: In the early hours of a Sunday a battleship mistakenly fired on a solis cruise ship destroying the vessel. However the incident was ignored by the Imazavatian government as they tried to cover up the situation by sending more naval squadrons to the area.

Inner Ted Imazahvatia

The Solis Media plasters the story on every front page, and news channels across the nation are covering the situation every few hours. The Solis Government submits a report that claim 32 people were killed, a further 45 injured, and that about 50,000 Aurum worth of damage was caused. The media is calling it a 'Cold War Crime'. The Solis Embassy in Gem City sends a letter to the Grand Director, pressuring them for a statement.

The Solis
Instead of a response from the grand director the imperial overseer releases a statement calling the report a propaganda tactic. And the cruise ship as on the course to hit one of the Imazavatian naval vessels. The captain the battleship was allowed to keep his position despite the international pressure.

Inner Ted Imazahvatia

The Solis Ambassador to Imazahvatia, Victor Cadrolla, calls the decision to call the report a 'propaganda tactic' a : "Move of either blind ignorance, unrelenting nationalism, or pure spite for human life"

The Solis
Around 3 hours after the Imperial Overseer delivers his speech the embassy in The republic of solis has been closed. Although this is not mentioned at all in Imazavatian media

The Solis Embassy in Gem City is abandoned without notice, with the ambassador team returning to their home country without informing the Imazahvatian Government.

[Yo just out of RP, I think this is a good place to leave it for now, I dunno about you, but its 4AM for me, so Imma sleep]

[sounds good see you tomorrow then]

The Solis
In the early morning of a Friday a lone submarine fired its torpedo at a Solis frigate before disappearing. The Imazavatian government hasn’t acknowledged the incident however many speculate if they knew it was going to happen or the submarine was theirs.

Inner Ted Imazahvatia

The frigate, damaged but not sunk, manages to return to port. Its crew reports that the submarine that attacked the vessel was of Imazahvatian origin. The Solis Navy is put on high alert, with The Government issuing a statement that as well as Solis reaffirming its control of its territorial waters, a 5km 'Exclusion Zone' will be set up past the sea boundaries, with any military vessel that dares stray into the Exclusion Zone having warning shots fire against them.

The Solis
A few days later the Imazavatian government learns of the exclusion zone. They haven’t released a statement but have deployed their aircraft carriers to the region. The Imazavatian navy has begun to fire on anyone not respecting the embargo preventing any ships from getting into Solis waters.

Inner Ted Imazahvatia

At Around 7:52 AM, on October 7th, a Solis destroyer launches a missile at an Imazahvatian Aircraft Carrier, the missile lands in the water directly next to the Aircraft Carrier before exploding. No damage is done to the ship itself, but the missile does disrupt a take-off execrise.

The Solis
The captain of a nearby missile cruiser mistakes the missiles as an attack as two long range missiles fire off against the Solis navy damaging both hitting a frigate. Although shortly after the missiles were launched the aircraft carrier sends a telegram informing the Solis navy the attack was a mistake.

Inner Ted Imazahvatia

The Solis Navy ignores the telegram, sending a large missile that detonates directly above the aircraft carrier, sending shrapnel raining onto the deck as a warning

The Solis
Early the next morning after the assault happened the imazvatian long range battleships fire on the Solis navy. As two of the aircraft carriers launch their fighters and dive bombers towards the Solis navy in order to paralyze their ships so they can’t fight back.
