They're called out for their inability to see how they benefit from racist norms and policies because suffering under racism is to most white people a theory, a hypothetical scenario that they can't apply to their reality and are thus disconnected from the minorities' worldview
And because most white cishet people benefit from racist polices they also have the luxury of having increased chances of success compared to ethnic minorities and are therefore more likely to adopt a Conservative ideology to maintain status quo under the misguided belief that individuals can choose to be successful

What often minorities and left wingers want to communicate is that the current systematic structure is racist and benefits white cishet people the most often at the expense of ethnic and sexual minorities and whites are unable to see or turn to concerning right-wing ideologies that may or may not advocate for genocide
