Welcome to all our new nations this week. Pizza parlours, Pilipolis, Liberty and zionism, and John lalor. I'm sure my Recruiting Foreman has spoken to each of you but if not, I'm always more than willing to answer any questions you guys might have. Also, does anyone know anything about forums? I kind of do and am going to be setting one up soon but I will definitely need a little bit of help. After we got invaded, my Foreman of Forums has ceased to exist so I have a void to fill for sure. Anyone let me know if your interested. Also, I'm working on our new and improved regional map so that will be out soon as well! Plots should be ready by sometime mid next week. In case anyone cares, I voted FOR the current WA resolution "Promotion of Bee-keeping." A resolution to reduce barriers to free trade and commerce. I believe bees are an important part of our environment and should be treated as such.

The preceding message was forwarded to me by our Recruiting Foreman, Supercharged pontiacs.
At the moment we currently do not have an offsite forum. We used to have a quite active one but our old Foreman of Forums has ceased to exist since we got invaded about 6 months ago, so we are looking for someone to undertake this task. I know a little about forums but, unfortunately, not enough to go in alone and create one. We got invaded about 6 months ago and have just recently retaken our region so a lot of our social services are just getting back up and running again. So I guess the short answer would be as soon as I can find someone to help me, we will most certainly have a forum!

I don't know much about forums, but if you don't mind my lack of experience I'd definitely be willing to put the effort into learning about forums and helping to set some up for our region.

@ -Tijan: A map is already in the works. It is about a day or two from completion. However, I'm open to input, as always. Maybe put it up for viewing so I can take a look? This will be something that will be way easier once there is a forum but if you can find another way to let me see it, just let me know.
@Jeashun: Yes any help would be appreciated. Maybe send me a telegram about your experience with forums and we can go from there.

Hi Darkervale.
Looks like San Can hasn't got back to you but I feel comfortable speaking on his behalf. In the past, the Vice Foreman (previously Vice President) has been a position available to nations that are not only very trusted, but long time residence of Du Maurier. It usually also carries the role of Delegate. There has to be a vote amongst the brass and the rest of the region gets a say as well. You also have to live here lol and I can see that you don't. Any more questions and ask me or San Can!

I happened to notice that we had exchanged embassies with Hippiedom. I visited Hippiedom and found that most of its members had departed to Hippy Haven. Would we want to exchange embassies with the new entity, or is there some political reason why we wouldn't want to do so?

Good question! Due to security reasons, Hippiedom is in the middle of re-founding. This involves all the nations leaving the region. Then, the region "dies" and it can be founded again. Then they all move back.
The reason they have to do that is so their region is no longer founderless. When a regions founding nation ceases to exist, it makes them vulnerable to attack from nations that take joy in terrorizing peaceful regions, such as Hippedom. They do this by taking regional control by seizing the delegate position of the region. When a region becomes founderless, the game automatically admits the delegate administrative powers. Their founder, Hard Line Commies (my old friend) ceased to exist about a year ago or so and they have recently been attacked. They are just making sure this doesn't happen again.
So, they will refound, and we will have embassies once again. However....you kind of make a good point. I'll talk to The John Lennon Utopia of Strawberrry Fields and see if he wants to embassy with Hippy Haven.

OK people. So, this is what I was talking about. It looks like seconds before it could be re-founded, Hippiedom was invaded again. This time they have password protected the region so it doesn't look good. I told SFF we would do anything to help so I'll keep you updated. It's really too bad, it was literally seconds before he re-founded. Damn.

You have to apply. Give reasons you think your best for the job etc. The forum is about a day or so away or so away from being rolled out. It will still hold the status of being under construction but the necessary portals to apply for government will be available. That is where you will do so. What position are you interested in?
