Peshmerga On Alert Following Coup In Turkey

In a statement from the Ministry of Defense, KAR Defense Minister Shorish Ismail announced that the Perhmerga had been placed on alert. The Peshmerga are the military and security forces of the KAR, which the Arab military is barred from entering. He confirmed the reason for the move to be the military nationalist coup in Turkey, with whom the Arab States and Kurdistan Autonomous Republic share a border. Ismail emphasized that the alert status is not a mobilization, nor is it a signal of possible military action from the KAR. He clarified that it is only to prevent any spillover, should the instability in Turkey worsen further. It was left unstated that the move is also related to the deployment of Turkish military and Special Forces to the souther Turkish Kurdistan region.

The move does not correspond to a foreign policy from Baghdad or Erbil. Under Arab law, the KAR is barred from having or engaging in its own foreign policy, and can express its interests through the Arab Foreign Affairs Ministry. No statement has come from the Arab Foreign or Defense Ministry as of currently. It is expected Chairman Khalil will respond to the matter soon. With elections in just a few months, a new government in a neighboring power could prove a hot button topic.

JAKARTA EXPRESSES INTEREST IN PURCHASING 15 BELL BOEING V-22 OSPREY TILTROTOR AIRCRAFT FROM Paramountica FOR $2.5 BILLION USD

_{The Ministry of Defense announced earlier today the government's interest in purchasing 15 Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft and their respective replacement and support parts from the United States for $2.5 billion USD. The V-22 Osprey is a tiltrotor military aircraft capable of Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) and Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL). It is designed to combine the functionality of a helicopter with the long-range, high speed performance of a turboprop aircraft. The Osprey has a top speed of 565km/h and a maximum flight range of 1,627 kilometers. Defense Secretary Prabowo Subianto said, 'the Osprey aircraft will increase the logistical capabilities of the Armed Forces tenfold. This will enable us to land up to 24 men on rooftops, medium-sized vessels, and even helicopter pads. The combination of helicopter and airplane is a vital instrument we need in our archipelago'. The Armed Forces plan to purchase 15 units, plus respective replacement and support parts, as well as armaments for a total of $2.5 billion USD. Inside sources claim the Osprey aircraft will be used by the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Peacekeeper Corps at the same time, and will enable the Armed Forces to deploy entire platoons to almost anywhere within range. The Osprey, with rooftop landing capabilities, can be used to land on rooftops, giving Indonesian troops a strategic advantage on the battlefield. Jakarta ardently awaits the Paramerican government's response.}

| _{Pro-Commonwealth supporters were today celebrating in the streets following the defeat of the Danish Independence Referendum, the referendum was brought about by the successful election of the pro-independence coalition headed up by the Danish People's Party in the 2019 regional election. The Commonwealth between Denmark and Norway and been brought about following the devistation of the Second World War, in which both nations had been overun and occupied by Volkist forces. In 1948 following a struggling recovery and growing concerns about the new Cold War brewing between the United States and the USSR the nations formed a Commonwealth.} |

| _{In the last seventy-five years the Commonwealth has undergone many changes and realignments. Denmark tends to sit more to the right politically of Norway especially on the issue of immigration, both nations are members of the European Union (largely against the wishes of Norway), and the Schengen Area (once again largely against Norway's wishes). The intertwined nature of the nations monarchies allowed for an easy route allowing the nations to retain their monarch's, upon the death of a monarch the families will select candidates to be put forward for election and voted upon by the Commonwealth Council (the national parliament), although in most cases both families have merely swapped between each other. However in 2021 a referendum was held in favour of abolishing the monarchy in favour of a ceremonial presidential role voted upon by the Commonwealth Parliament.} |

| _{Denmark, as previously stated, and Norway have retained regional assemblies that hold powers similar to that of the Scottish and Welsh Parliaments in the United Kingdom, with regional councils running the provincial areas across the entire Commonwealth. The Første Minister heads up the regional assemblies, however those roles are superceeded by that of the Statsminister (Prime Minister) of the Commonwealth, who is typically the leader of the largest party in the Commonwealth Parliament, which is elected by all voters across the entire Commonwealth.} |

Støre only took office in 2019 following the deafeat of Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Støre is a member of the Commonwealth Social Democratic Party who has since 1948 held power for 59 of those years, having gambled his political future and the Commonwealth on this referendum he will undoubtedly be giving a deep sigh of relief and no doubt a large glass of something alcoholic.} |

INDONESIAN SPACE ADMINISTRATION UNVEILS PLAN TO MANUFACTURE INDONESIAN VERSION OF SOYUZ LAUNCH VEHICLE AND CREW CAPSULE, NAMED 'PERSATUAN' (UNION), AND BEGINS ASTRONAUT TRAINING PROGRAM

_{The Indonesian Space Administration (ISA) unveiled their new plan to manufacture an Indonesian version of the Soyuz launch vehicle and crew capsule which will be named 'Persatuan' or Union. ISA Administrator Marina al-Anshori said at a press conference, 'thanks to the generosity and kindness of the SGRI and the passed Tsar Putin, Indonesia will now be utilizing the blueprints of the Soyuz vehicle and capsule given to us by the Russians to advance space exploration for the benefit of all humankind'. Indonesia plans to utilize the Persatuan launch vehicle and capsule to launch payloads and crew into orbit, as well as to launch international payloads. High Chancellor Anetta Komarudin believes that the Persatuan launch vehicle will appeal to many satellite makers because of the reliable launch vehicle design and the positioning of the launch site, which is on the equator. The Soyuz launch vehicle, of which the Persatuan is based on, uses RP-1 and liquid oxygen propellant as fuel sources and has 1,700 launches under its belt since its 1966 debut. The Space Administration claims the first Persatuan launch will take place in summer-fall 2025, with a crewed orbital launch planned in 2026.}

_{In astronaut news, the Indonesian Space Administration announced their first class of astronauts, named Class 1. The members of Class 1 are as follows: Rizman Nugraha, biologist, Yohanes Surya, physicist, Laksana Tri Handoko, scientist and former deputy head of science and technology for the Indonesian Institute of Sciences, Rose Amal, chemical engineer, Karlina Supelli, philosopher and astronomer, and Adi Utarini, public health researcher and scientist. All 6 astronauts will begin training for future missions in Low Earth Orbit and beyond. The Indonesian Space Administration is also considering having their astronauts launched on other launch vehicles such as the Paramerican Falcon 9 and the Russian Soyuz so that they can 'train in a realistic scenario' before launching for Indonesia. The government is reportedly not considering this option, as of now.}

CORPORATIVE CHAMBER VOTES NEW LAND ZONING POLICY

The first major reform made by the Corporative Chamber since its creation was voted today. Indeed, this new reform concerns land zoning and was initially proposed by the Agriculture Corporation.

This new reform aims to limit the loss of agriculture zoning to the expansion of urban and residential sectors, along with other Corporations’ activities like mining, manufactures and industrial sectors. Indeed, the first proposition was that for every inch of agricultural zoning loss or changed to another one would be replaced equally, and of equal quality, from undetermined zoning in less populous or developed areas. Moreover, this reform was pushed by many farmers who received pressure from either cities or prospectors to sell their fertile land to transform them into industrial sectors or residential sectors. In fact, the pressure was growing in intensity in the historically fertile Pampa that saw the Argentinian growth in the early 1900’s and kept Argentina, and then La Plata, as one of the biggest and major food exporters of the world.

Nevertheless, this reform in its primary form wasn’t attractive for other Corporations to accept it and even was negative for some, like the Real Estate Corporation or the Industrial and Manufacture Corporation who were extremely against such restrictions. With only 1 seat of the Agriculture Corporation and the support of the 3 seats of the Administrative Corporation, the 4 positive votes were not enough for the 16 others that were either abstentions or negative votes.

In order to gather more support, the Agriculture Corporation sought support in other Corporations that could benefit from a broader reform of the zoning policies that would include their own zoning as well. Indeed, the Mining and Natural Resources Corporation (2 seats) had similar pressure and a hard time gaining more concessions for mining, especially in less developed mining industries of Uruguay, Paraguay and even Argentina. Moreover, the Chilean sector included timber exploitation and the restricted land of Chile, mostly in the altitude of the Andes, was too precious to lose any exploitation area without compensation. Even there, the Mining Corporation includes the oil and gas exploitation, which is supplemented by the Agriculture’s green fuel production. The Reform had now 6 positive votes.

More support came from the Retail and Customer Service Corporation. Indeed, this Corporation includes the tourism sector and a lot of the touristic attractions are related to the natural beauty of the Platinan land, including the national parks and the savage lands. The new Reform proposed had to be changed in order to gain this Corporation’s sector. Indeed, new land gathered through this reform by either the Agriculture and mining corporations would fatally infringe in the unexploited land that could become national parks and increase the tourism sector and therefore increase the size and influence of this Corporation in the Chamber. New amendments were then added to include better land and natural protection for the unexploited land and that depleted Mining or Agriculture zoning would be predominantly zoned in reserves or natural parks. The new reform had now 9 positive votes with the 3 seats of this Corporation.

The reform had gained more support but was still lacking enough to have the majority and be adopted. Indeed, the Real Estate and the Industrial Corporations were the Corporations the most against such reform. With only 6 combined voices, they shouldn’t have been a problem, but their influence on other sectors, such as Education, Health or the Construction Corporations assured them enough votes to counter the new legislation. This seemingly impassible wall was tore down by adding amendments that eased the Real Estate (residential) zoning, especially the high concentration residential zoning that was eased in certain conditions in order to reduce the urban sprawl, something that is increasing in major cities of La Plata, especially Buenos Aires that has one of the biggest metropolitan areas of the world. In fact, this argument was enough to gather their support because it was also encouraging the new policies pushed by the Horizonte 2030 Green Plan of La Plata. The Education (1 seat) and Health (2 seats) Corporations quickly joined the Real Estate Corporation in support of the new reform because less urban sprawl means safer schools with less traveling for kids and a higher concentration of schools, positive for their influence in the Chamber and similar reasons for the Health Corporation, which meant higher concentrated urban areas that received services by bigger hospitals and not more smaller hospitals for wider cities. This means 5 more positive votes to the reform and brought the total support to 14 votes of a total of 20 seats.

The Corporations against the reform were the Industrial and Manufacture Corporations (4 seats) that received no substantial compensations other than better planning for industrial areas for new cities or expanding cities. The Construction Corporation (1 seat) also voted against because of less infrastructure works it would entail. The Finance and Trade Corporation (1 seat) also voted against because they feared more legislation would reduce trade and investment attractiveness and affect normal economic activities. The Corporation of Television and Radio Broadcasting, which is formed in majority by CTRB News, has stayed neutral on the matter and abstained.

The New reform was therefore accepted and presented to Manuel Entrecanales, the Minister of Corporations, who reviewed the reform before accepting it. Mr. Entrecanales presented the reform to President Starris who approved it and officialised its application.

The system thought by President Mandrake has proven to be functional with its first major reform created by Corporations answering a need. Only time will tell if other reforms will bring as many Corporations together as this one did…

| ELECTION OF VIKTOR IVCHENKO

| After the death of Vladimir Putin, members of the state security apparatus, military, interior ministry and other sectors of the state and society initiated a grand operation to save Russia from the remnants of Putin – his clique of pseudo-royals, oligarchs, fat cats and doggish politicians. With success in arresting high-ranking political figures such as Dmitry Medvedev, oligarchs such as Igor Sechin to officials at the local level, Gennadiy Limonov and other prominent actors within the operation established the Provisional Council of State and tasked it with overseeing Russia’s transition from the illegal SGRI to Russian democracy. Notable aspects of this transition have included the indictments of traitors and collaborators, and also the Astrakhan Agreement with former SGRI member states. However the most important aspect, one which demonstrates a new reality for Russia, is the preparation for free and fair elections [with conditions].

The promise of free and fair elections is one that breathed a sigh of relief to many Russians who seek stability and peace. The Provisional Council, recognising the importance of elections, had taken several steps to ensure they are free of interference, free to all citizens eligible to vote, and free of foreign interference although not international oversight. Most notable of these steps was the banning of several political organisations who collaborated with Putin such as United Russia, it’s All-Russia People’s Front and it’s members. Parties suspected of collaboration were temporarily suspended (pending investigation), although many of its members were free to run as independents. Lastly, parties harbouring anti-democratic, regressive or Putinist views were subject to review, many banned, with some members arrested on grounds of treason. Theses measures taken by the Provisional Council, although may be viewed anti-democratic by some in the west, are necessary steps to ensure Russia’s progression past the stain of Putin’s SGRI as well as the radical conservative ideology perpetuated by the regime...an ideology at odds with Russian history and Russian people. Overall and with the support of the Russian masses, the measures ensured the legitimacy of the election and set a strong precedent for the future.

Though elections were scheduled 3 months after national restoration, parties were able to field potential candidates with independents joining the race soon after. Crowded, the pool of candidates dwindled considerably as many dropped and coalitions were made until two candidates, Viktor Ivchenko and Leonid Volkov became forerunners of the democratic elections. Provisional Councillor Viktor Ivchenko, and his Coalition of the Left and Democrats ran on a strong de-putinification and anti-rightist platform, and stressed the need for reconciliation abroad and state attention to the plight of the citizen domestically. Backed by all members of the Provisional Council, Mr. Ivchenko held a further favourable position in Russia as he directly participated in the national restoration. His credible opposition, Leonid Volkov and the People’s Alliance ran on a liberal platform calling for sweeping reforms of government and pro-europeanism alongside standard anti-putinism found throughout the election. The two throughout the election cycle engaged in vicious campaigning and political maneuvering, the kind never before seen in Russia with both sides hurling accusations of anti-democratic values, neo-putin ideas, and corruption amongst others. This bitter fight between Viktor Ivchenko and Leonid Volkov, with all of its viciousness, would come to an end on the 20 May as citizens across Russia cast their ballots.

As polls across the country began to close from east to west, Russians would finally see the fruit of their democratic participation. Leonid Volkov, would take a commanding lead in the urban centres in the Far East and notably in many of the ethnic republics, a theme that would be common throughout the election. As the night progressed however, Volkov’s lead would dwindle and eventually be overtaken by Ivchenko, especially as votes in the more populous west were tallied. Ivchenko would extend his lead considerably, capturing majorities in most of western Russia outside of the major urban areas of Moscow and St Peterburg. By the end of the night the result of the election was undeniably clear, Russia had elected Viktor Ivchenko and his coalition of the left and russian democrats:

Upon securing victory in Russia’s special election, President-elect Viktor Ivchenko gave a humble yet fiery address to his supporters and all of Russia. In his address, he spoke of the peoples triumph in exercising their democratic right, and vowed to uphold the people's democracy within the Russian circumstance. The President-elect further pledged his service to the people and their plight and vowed to continuously improve their economic and social conditions, as well as strengthening the fraternities of peoples and nationalities of the Russian Federation. Lastly, Ivchenko spoke of the bright future ahead for Russia, and urged all Russians to do their part in constructing such a future. |

”LITHIUM WAR” REPORT: CALLS FOR REFORMS IN THE INDUSTRY

The “Lithium War” that opposed Australia and La Plata to the SGRI's declaration on its planned expansion in Lithium production was surely the most mediatised trade crisis since decades. Indeed, the strategic resource for the electrification of transports and the shift to green energies is one mainly produced by Australia, La Plata and China as the near-monopoly producers of that resource.

Australia still leads the production, thanks to a strong and capital-fed mining sector and efficient spodumene extraction. La Plata follows second with its Brine production in the Salar de Atacama (in Chile) and the Salars del Hombre Muerto and de Olaroz (in Argentina), production that increased dramatically since the 1990’s with intense support from Mandrake as a strategic resource for La Plata.

Nevertheless, Lithium production is still at a low potential in La Plata and is very underdeveloped compared to Australia. Indeed, with over 51,000 tons produced a year, Australia produces at a rate of 1.9% of its reserves. China produces at a rate of 0.8% of its reserves. La Plata produces a tiny 0.3% of its reserves at 41,000 tons a year. The Brine production being the most efficient and most cost-effective, especially the Salar de Atacama in Chile being the best in world according to Albermale Lithium and competitors, why La Plata lags in production and in its potential?

The answer is easy: history. Indeed, Argentina lags, despite producing over 19,000 tons last year (0.4% of reserves), behind Chile with 22,000 tons and 0.275% of its reserves. Nevertheless, the increase in Argentina, proportionally speaking, is a lot higher than in Chile thanks to a more deregulated sector and Litiobaterias mining and refining facilities, jointly owned by La Plata and France.

Why Chile doesn’t reach its potential similar to Argentina despite having the most efficient lithium mining facilities and mining areas in the world? We have to thank Augusto Pinochet… Indeed, Pinochet declared Lithium a “strategic” resource back in the 1980’s because of its use in nuclear fission. This meant any extraction of Lithium had to be made either by a State-owned company or a private company having close links with the government. Even today, the regulation is still very strict, leading to very few contracts awarded and few competition (only SQM, Chilean State-company, and Albermarle, USA-based company, have concessions in Chile) .

Why Argentina does better than Chile if they are both members of La Plata? It all goes back before the final reforms brought by Mandrake that made the country more united than ever. Indeed, the legal frameworks of each constituents were kept for each member and many different legislations remain despite the final union in the last decade. This piece of legislation made by a dictator in the 1980’s is the main reason Chile cannot reach its potential.

Did La Plata and Australia win the Lithium War? Yes, Did La Plata win the Lithium War? Not really… La Plata sat on its resources and decades acquired near-monopoly on the resource and let Australia earn the first place despite less advantageous reserves on paper. If the SGRI had kept its projects going, there is no doubt that they, along with China, would fight for second place and La Plata relinquished third place, if not worse…

We recommend reviewing antiquated legislation and unite every legislation into a unified one in order to simplify the sector and attract more investors and foreign companies that would bring their own revolutionary extraction or refining techniques. A good example, ironically, is Capstone (Canadian-based company) in Chile that increased its refining process for copper mining with better extractors and technology for its mines there and now they produce over 4,700 tons of Cobalt as a by-product of Copper or Iron mining. Historically, Chile produced cobalt as first mining product, but the concentration wasn’t enough, in addition to low demand on the market. It rose quickly in the last decades with the discovery of lithium-ion batteries and the use of cobalt as stabilizer for lithium. This example shows that innovation must not be capped by obsolete legislation or State monopolies on a resource. La Plata is able to get its fair share whilst allowing foreign investment to grow in opposition to State-owned monopolies. We also recommend either breaking State-monopolies by privatising wholly or partly major public companies in the sector and easing the permits acquisition.

La Plata barely won the Lithium War, thanks to the close partnership of Australia, but will La Plata win the next “Resource War” if it caps innovation?

INDONESIAN GOVERNMENT PURCHASES 125 KAI KF-21 ADVANCED MULTIROLE FIGHTERS FOR $1.4 BILLION USD, FULL DELIVERY EXPECTED IN EARLY 2025

_{Earlier today, the Indonesian government announced the purchase of 125 KAI KF-21 Advanced Multirole Fighters for $1.4 Billion USD from the Kingdom of Korea. The $1.4 billion purchase is part of the military's expansion and modernization program, with this particular order being received by the Indonesian Air Force. The KAI KF-21 is a Korean advanced multirole fighter designed for all types of combat, from air to air to ground assault. Chief Air Marshal and Supreme General Hadi Tjahanto stated, 'the KAI KF-21 fighter is the perfect jet for our nation. It is relatively cheap, extremely powerful and flexible, as well as being reliable. We believe this was a great purchase and we look forward to working with Korea in the future'. Indonesia plans to use the KF-21 jets in combat operations against the ISF, which has been silently growing in Indonesia for a few months now. The first jets will be delivered in spring-summer 2024, with final delivery being expected in early 2025. The KF-21 was chosen in the end over the Paramerican F-22 Raptor because of the KF-21's decent price to performance. The Indonesian government is also rumored to be planning other military purchases from foreign nations.}

The Ministry of the Economy announced a comprehensive strategic partnership with -the alpine confederation- that would surely propel development of Zaire to the next level. In exchange of an increase of metal and other mineral exports to Switzerland, ABB Industry and Infrastructure Solutions has agreed to export the following products to be used for the producing materials geared toward mines and other industrial capacities including electrification infrastructure such as power lines, generators, and converter systems:

Electrification Infrastructure
ABB robots, controllers, software and our complete line of robot products
ABB conveyors for palletized and free transfer of components
Digital gage software (DGS) for advanced measurement applications
Full portfolio of robotic wash components including regenerative and vacuum drying methods
ABB robotic 2D and 3D vision software

Regarding transportation development, Nestlé has been approved for operations in Zaire pertaining to agricultural operations. Within the Swiss request, Zaire shall increase exports of Zairean food (and Diary) while AEBI (which is owned by Nestlé in RP) Farming equipment will be given to Zairean farmers. In return Nestlé will place quality food in Zairean supermarkets, and continued farming equipment export will be headed to Zaire from AEBI. Additionally, Novartis and the Roche Group shall receive Caffeine and other edible medicine products from Zaire, and in return Novartis will mass export Zaire medications to Zairean pharmacies and hospitals.

Regarding maritime and transportation strategic infrastructure, Zaire has approved the The Libreville-Dar es Salaam Rail line that is proposed by the Swiss Royal Railways (SRR) which will automate mineral and passenger distribution via connections and upgrades to all existing lines in Zaire. In return, the SRR would like an increased export in ready rail steel from Zaire. The Adecco Group (a staffing company) shall also open multiple staffing offices in Zaire, with a staffing website just for the Bantu People's Republik. Migros has also been approved to open multiple stores in Zaire while in return Migros will advertise Zairean civilian produces such as convenience goods, shopping goods etc. and assist in the exports and production of Zairean convenience goods and shopping goods. Holcim (a cement company) has been approved by the Zairean government to receive increased cement and asphalt material exports and in return Holcim will assist Implenia and Artemis (swiss constrution company and congolgotmate) in Planned Zaire-Swiss Infunstructure projects such as the Grand Butembo Highway, the Greater Zaire Highway network, Artemis Real Estate and Hotels Yambe-Tanga, and Point Denis Park and Resort.
