BORIS JOHNSON OPENS UP TO AFRICA — POTENTIAL DEALS AND FRIENDSHIPS — 10 DOWNING STREET, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND, May 2023

    | British-African Friendships and Partnerships|

    | The African continent was always in the interest of the British, dating back to colonial times when the British, along with other European powers occupying the desert lands and jungles. Since the independence of African nations in the 1960’s and 1970’s, it was the goal of the British government to maintain neutral or create positive relations with its former colonies. As former states such as Sudan sees economic growth, as well as growing powers such as Zaire, the British government thought it would be best to re-engage relations with Africa as they have gone”stale” and “uneventful.” Prime Minister Boris Johnson has sent request to Zaire, Sudan, the Galla and Egypt to reignite or create British-African partnerships and establish new friendships with the African nations. |

NOTE FROM EXECUTIVE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF ZAIRE
FROM: Denis Sassou N'Guesso, President of the Bantu People's Republik of Zaire
        SUBJECT: Consensus on Anglo-Zairean Cooperation

Prime Minister Boris Johnson of the United Kingdom,

I hope that this response finds you well. May God continue to Bless the United Kingdom and its people. I write this response, both as a friend but as the de jure and de facto President of the Bantu People's Republik of Zaire. After much consideration and contemplation of thought with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of the Economy, and the National Security Council, I have determined it best and in the best interest of the Zairean people to accept and pursue an amending of relations with the United Kingdom. In the path of development and progression of the Republik of Zaire, it is essential for Kinshasa to acquire as many friendly relations with the developed, modern world. Despite the colonial past Afrika had endured at the hands and interests of the British among other European powers, Kinshasa finds it appropriate, necessary, and essential to move forward into the future.

At your earliest convenience, Kinshasa is willing to conduct an Anglo-Zairean Summit to discuss and negotiate new terms of cooperation, partnership, and coordination that will be mutually beneficial to our people and the process of reconciliation can begin. In this event, it is important and crucial to understand that the politics, status, and conditions of the continent of Afrika have substantially changed; therefore, its new course of development and sovereignty should be respected as should the growing position of Zaire as the Heart of Afrika. It is with this understanding and the acceptance of this, Zaire and the United Kingdom may nurture and grow a beneficial partnership of mutual understanding and friendship.

God Bless.

Very Respectfully,

                Denis Sassou N'Guesso
