The ask was 80. The bid was 81. The halfway point between those is 80.50.

Basically, the player in question flipped the card, which is a jerk move in my opinion, but valid. In this case though, it cost them money instead of making it.

You asked for 70. You received bids of 75, 76, 80, and 80.01.

The 80.01 was the winning bid, so split the bid/ask at 75.01.

Because the bid for 80 hadn't been withdrawn, the player who won the card for 75.01 immediately re-listed it for 80, probably thinking they could harvest a small profit, but forgetting about the 10% fee they would be losing.

A new bid then came in at 81, which won that auction, triggering a sale at the halfway point of 80.50.

The amusing part is that because of the seller fee, the player attempting the flip actually lost 1.56 on the transaction, because while the sale price was 5.49 higher, they had to eat the fee of 7.05.
