Statement from the Quorum of the Roman Commonwealth

The Roman Commonwealth is appalled by the recent actions of Patel's Free india-. As a collective alliance, we wholeheartedly condemn the testing and deployment of nuclear weapons by any nation. The Commonwealth condemns the abuses and human rights violations enacted against the Indian people. The socialist-leaning countries of the Commonwealth also denounce Patel's government for misrepresenting the socialist movement. The People's Republic of India is a terrorist state. In response to the actions of Patel and his government, the nations of the Commonwealth will enact the following resolutions for the foreseeable future:

RESOLUTION I: All member nations of the Roman Commonwealth will cease all trade and travel between themselves and the People's Republic of India. Tourists, merchants, cargo haulers, airliners, and all other kinds of travel will be reduced to zero as of the release of this statement. Indian business assets will be seized and frozen for the foreseeable future.

RESOLUTION II: All Defense Pact signatories will activate Legio Reipublicae III “ARABIA PETRAEA" immediately after the release of this statement. The Legion will be deployed to the eastern border of the Saudi Kingdom for the purposes of protecting Commonwealth citizens from any possible aggression by the terrorist state of the PROI. Missile defenses will be deployed along with the Legion. Roma will be deploying a carrier strike battlegroup to the Gulf of Oman, made up of: An aircraft carrier, three missile cruisers, five general purpose frigates, 1 amphibious loading dock, and an undisclosed number of attack submarines plus support vessels.

RESOLUTION III: The nations of the Commonwealth will open their borders to Indian refugees seeking asylum from oppression and crimes against humanity. Commonwealth nations will facilitate travel for refugees and only for refugees. Refugees will need to be background checked to prevent abuse of the asylum system by the PROI to threaten the security of any Commonwealth nations.

The Commonwealth applauds those nations acting in support of The united indian front, and is standing by to assist in India's recovery from Patel's rule.
