The delegations move towards a part of the palace that thanks to the restorations seems new, this part is the headquarter of the "Council of the Four Crowns" (the Garganian Parliament), this room has several frescoes and a raised podium surrounded by two large statues: one was the Greek goddess Dike, while the other statue represented the Greek goddess Nike. The delegations take their places in the four rows of seats and Girolamo Lomellini goes towards the podium and takes the floor: "Good morning everyone, on behalf of the entire Confederation, I express our happiness to have you here. We have organized this summit to hold a couple of pacts and treatises that could help all of us. So I would like to give the floor to our Minister of the Armed Forces Flavio Lomellini and to our Minister of Economy and Finance Giulio Lomellini".

Flavio gets up first from his seat and begins to speak: "Thank you, we all know that all over the world alignments are already being created which day after day are becoming more and more aggressive, we want to avoid this and for this reason we would be honored to stipulate a military alliance between our nations with one main rule, if an allied nation is invaded or invades another country, the other countries will be required to lend military aid or direct participation of their armies in the invasion or defense of the allied nation".

At this point Giulio Lomellini also gets up from his seat and begins to speak: "In addition to a military alliance, we would be honored to have your participation in an economic alliance, separate from the European Union and which would constitute a single currency and the creation of a common central bank among our nations, moreover we intend to abolish all frontiers between our countries both for goods and for people. We know the difficulty of making such a decision, but Gargano believes this is the best way to guarantee peace and economic collaboration."

Giulio Lomellini takes the floor again: "Thanks to both of you, now we would like to know if your nations would be willing to take part in one or both of the treaties or if you believe that some rules of these treaties should be modified".

Veneti Marsei would like to enter into this military agreement, understanding its requirements that if an allied country is invaded, then members are required to put boots on the ground OR provide significant military aid.

However, an economic alliance, especially one so centralized as this one, is out of the question currently. Veneti Marsei would be happy to economically support Gargano in some ways, but the overhauling of the Veneti Marseian financial system in such a precarious time as this is sadly not feasible.
