First BrahMos II Test

DRDO tested the first ever BrahMos-II off the coast of Odisha after months of development and planning. The missile successful launched from APJ Abdul Kalam Island, the missile managed to reach the planned Mach 6 speed for 200km before hitting a decoy ship.

The test was successful as the missile managed to reached the designated mach 6 speed and managed to travel 200km, the test did use less requirements in speed and distance then the actual planned perimeters as it was the first test of the new Hyper-Sonic Engine and hence it was not pushed.
