God made the Big Bang, we're all right.

God wants us to explore the universe because he wants to know what we can do. We're not going to get anywhere believing in him solely, he ain't holding our hands.
The earth floats in nothingness, blackness all around us, it's our job to go out there and explore it.

The emptiness of space is our playground, so let's make God pround in the billions of years we have left till the big crunch (or heat death, your choice)
