With the elections underway and the Emperor receiving the Werewolf Islands offer to observe; the Blayredeshian legion now joined by the additional armies from Blayredeshia and Woleve Atraland to a truly massive force; has cashed in on the Wolfenite offer and has begun to silently consolidate and fortify its holdings in the Icewindian West with several armies even beginning to spread out and advance east to consolidate more territory. Curiously though the Blayredeshians are more focused on recruiting locals to the ILA Militia. In addition to an official congratulations, the CIS has also offered Karl to send advisors and agents to The Ansalonian States to help him purge the nation of leftists and hostiles to better consolidate his rule.

RP: Dealing With The Opposition

Karl would accept Blayredeshian aid with gratitude, asking them to get started as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Karl would begin having his own paramilitaries start arresting members of the opposition and raid their offices to weaken and intimidate them. His paramilitaries would clash with leftist paramilitaries in the process, securing many victories against them, especially due to help from the police. A civil conflict much more intense than the current situation began to become more and more feared by the populace, who would begin buying arms en masse. This would lead to a boom for the arms industry, which would begin pumping out more weapons to sell to the populace.

RP: Nationalist Legislation

Alongside the paramilitaries and Blayredeshian aid, Karl would begin pushing for more legislation. He would begin greatly increasing economic freedom, slashing taxes for the rich and getting rid of government welfare and regulation. He would also begin enacting legislation which would make it harder for minorities to vote, harder for liberals and socialists to vote, etc. He would also begin restricting political freedoms such as secret ballots, pushing to make ballots publicly known. It would seem that what the opposition feared was starting to come to fruition.

RP: Resistance Emerges

Alongside the paramilitaries, liberals and leftists would begin organizing secret societies with the intent to save Ansalonian democracy and weaken the influence of the NPP. These societies would rapidly grow in number, many aiming to assassinate key members of the NPP, or weaken their influence in other ways. Some would plan to do this by convincing NPP voters to stop supporting the NPP, using methods such as pamphlets, secret speeches, etc.
