It didn't take long for the lines of the People's Guerrilla Army to falter to the torrent of Blayredeshian military power. Before they knew it, the westerners were approaching the North and quickly. Before the Blayredeshians could reach them, Kang Hyeong-Suk ordered the valuable armored units who had been chipping away at the Busan Perimiter to fall back to the Demilitarized Zone to take advantage of the fortifications that remained. Knowing full well they'd be slaughtered, the guerrillas that left would be tasked with forming organized and unorganized resistance, with skirmishes definitely buying the People's Army valuable time to re-organize and re-conscript. Even in impossible situations, the acts of pure martyrdom shook the west to its core as everyone from Northern schoolchildren to Southern women gave their lives to sabotage the enemy, flags strapped to their back and shouting 'manse' pledges and cheers all the way.

In the homefront, organized riots would be staged by the PGA in an attempt to lure the rear guards of Woleve Atraland into genocidal slaughters of moderate southern citizens who were simply anti-war. At this point, even despite two consecutive retreats, public support was still solidly in the North's hands. Southern factory workers organized a different kind of labor strike, in which resources would be smuggled to the North through neutral territory a la Ho Chi Minh trail.

To meet the horrid armies of General Hill, Kang Hyeong-Suk would arrange her most elite units to form a million-strong defensive line stretching from the Southern Capital to the DMZ, all supported by tens of thousands of well-armed PGA supporters. While the Blayredeshians initially gained air superiority, the unusual presence of modern anti-air guns and the releasure of modern jets that were obviously not of North Hyechonese manufacturing in the midst of swarms of more obsolete SAM sites and MiG's would attempt to overwhelm the air force right back- if not, then to inflict as many casualties as possible to stave off the economic consequences of bombing.

Meanwhile, civilian militias in the North would form an army of their own, the People's Home Preservation Army (PHPA), which would be better-armed than the PGA but still not as skilled as the regular HPA which would serve as the last line of defense should the mighty "Reunification Line" break.

As for the Werewolf Islands and their Blayredeshian counterparts, their fleet would face turgid resistance in the form of dense mines, coastal and island artillery battering them, the fleets of reserve planes dropping anti-ship missiles, land-based anti-ship systems, and the actual proper Hyechonan People's Navy, which while consisting mostly of coastal defense craft and small escorts/frigates, would be armed to the teeth to repel the larger ships with support from both land and sea. Assets of the HPA and PHPA would be made to form proper coastal defenses even despite the bombing, working to the bone to properly entrench themselves.

As for the offer from Icewindia, the North would firmly deny. This was a war of attrition that the North appeared to be winning. It had sustained gruesome losses itself, but those losses were less expensive and easier to replace then the modern might of the allies. They had reduced the Republic of Hyechon Army (South hyechon) to a glorified police force, and they had popular support. Kang was banking on a PR nightmare for the nation.

To take advantage of the sinking morale, a sly campaign of radio propaganda would be introduced in an attempt to guarantee defectors to the North, assuring them of the surviving and thriving Icewindian Soviet, the self-reliant and happy nature of the country, and a nation which truly considered the soldiers family- if only they would just leave their posts. Other broadcasts would subtly attempt to incentivize fragging.

As for the naval front, the Icewindians saw the People's Navy pull back for the first time in a while, going northward to support the third of the country still under Northern occupation as part of the Reunification Line, hoping the naval presence was dense enough to thwart any relief of the southern capital. The islanders, having been resupplied, would fight to the death. While the southernmost islands were guaranteed to the south, it would be a bloody endeavour to liberate them once more.

Current Forces:

HPA: 1,900,000
PHPA: 659,360
PGA: 1,315,000

RP: Crackdown on the Commies
Despite the efforts of the rioters to instigate violence, the rear guard is comprised of the most elite special forces of Atraland and as a result, have received extensive training in riot suppression. The rioters are instead fired upon with tear gas and flashbangs in attempts to disperse the crowds, with rubber bullets being used on anyone that poses a threat to the soldeirs and special grab teams arresting anyone seen as a prominent figure in the violence and taking them for interrogation in an attempt to root out the instigators.
