I believe my favorite tree is the birch. We had a small stand of them in our yard growing up, and I always found them fascinating. The color, the way the bark peeled away...and you can derive birch syrup and birch beer from them. Not entirely sure which species of birch they were, but I'd guess paper birch based off appearance and region.

I don't have a favourite tree, as such.... but I just love greens (whether they be trees or vegetables). 😍
