In a Shigu Military Academy, soldiers are training in their coordination by issuing an exercise on playing Hot Potato with a live grenade. The soldiers would pass the live explosive around counter-clockwise. After that they would drop it into a pit and take cover before the explosive detonates.

Meanwhile in a Shigu Youth Academy, children practice hand-to-hand combat as part of their Physical Education grades. Other activities include sword-fighting and Taekwondo. These are supposed to make them combat-ready and educated at the same time.
