No, you didn’t. You tried to invade the Pacific multiple times and failed, got puppeted at least twice, got cities occupied by at least four countries, got absolutely destroyed from orbit multiple times, and had one leader commit suicide, while two others were assassinated, while one or two others were executed by your own government. And what about all the adults who lived through these events? They would remember all of this happening! They were there! Therefore, you can’t just tell them exactly the opposite of the truth and say they believe it.
