The idea of an airborne aircraft carrier was nothing new and had some proof of concepts in the past although never truly realized. The terraforming process has spread to other towns and settlements, and the cover-up, which had lasted a remarkably long time, was broken. The wider Technate would be aware of what was going on, including numerous videos and reports of people dying to the creatures from beyond. The armed force's presence in the region was quite substantial, with a consistent war being waged against the creatures that had become increasingly bold and more ferocious as their foothold in this place was solidified; this included new types of creatures, a whole field of study dedicated to cataloguing them and examining the botanical marvels was created most remarkable were some creatures that weren't outright hostile like some grazing animals that ate the ashen, crimson and aquamarine grass which was beautiful as it was twisted. Closing the Door
A device was developed which could theoretically be used as a directed amplification device for psi energy in the form of a radio beam, which they speculate could provide the energy boost needed for weaker Stargate operatives to close the gate; when closed, a cleanup would be far easier. The spread could be stopped through a decisive bombing campaign. The device was big, required immense energy, and looked to be straight from a science fiction film resembling some sort of 'dooms day ray,' but it was the opposite in this case as a saviour. The difficulty was transporting the blasted thing through the now huge quarantine zone right into the heart of the madness where the greatest threats are sure to reside and get it down underground into the facility, set up, and fire it with their Operative hooked up to the device.

Point Insertion
An entire two battalions of mechanized infantry were assembled. A special vehicle was designed to house and power the 'doomsday ray' N°5 was selected (The most powerful Psychokinetic since 1 & 2) to operate the machinery. They set off into the terraformed region it was raining and dark, requiring night vision goggles; the region had lots of glowing alien mushrooms, which gave a dim glow; their equipment had IR to detect any monstrosities, though the vehicles had FLIR. They would move across an old road that had since cracked to pieces and was overgrown with alien plant life, trying its best to assimilate the things humanity had constructed here. Occasionally, a radio would crackle calling targets, and mounted machine guns would fire a stream of HEI-T to tear the creatures to ribbons; they were of little consequence to a tank. A group of them could take down a sedan and rip everyone apart inside, but none here were large enough to afflict a tank, APC or IFV, which made up the battalion's massive convoy with the device at its core. Approaching the old research building, resistance became tough as larger creatures blocked the way and assaulted the vehicles, spurring a near-constant stream of gunfire. and even a group of colossal house-sized creatures emerged from the tunnels, the tank main guns rotating and unleashing an HE round to explode the creatures. The convoy would set up around the building, forming a tight perimeter with ample firing arcs and troopers with CBRN equipment would disembark and unload the package. N°5 would also disembark; he was on edge, highly attuned to the psychic energy; this place felt terrible, and the portal was calling to him.

Laboratory Circus
The package was put on an electrically assisted mobility device and kept in armour; the vehicle that housed it would have lower legs, and the generator would be prepared. A very long and thick wire would need to be laid down throughout the complex. The troopers had guns but felt far more vulnerable without the vehicles; even their modern-day armour could be jeopardized at the assortment of stingers, claws, teeth, and other implements the monsters may employ against them. The building, overgrown with vines, was breached by the teams who released volleys of shots to clear out creatures at the entrance, four-legged hairless things with black flesh and a mouthful of needle teeth, the frontal legs larger than the back finishing with a series of claws. The teams continued their advance hostile growths would attack them, vines, spores, predatory plants and monsters slinking around in the dark, leaping out to rip some of the soldiers apart as they advanced. Several squads went down before they reached the barely functional lift and took the device down into the depths of the tomb-like research facility.

The Gate
The gateway was a colossal rip in the wall overgrown with vines, an ominous thick haze, and orange light; the teams kept shooting at the monsters arriving and cycling through magazines, leaving a trail of bodies and dead bodies. The science team would set up the 'death ray' and place N°5 into a capsule which had sound suppression, and an EEG meant to be like a mobile sensory deprivation chamber resembling a coffin. Once inside and hooked up, the scientists would calibrate the device urged by the soldiers who were holding the line at mounting odds; they were reminded radio would be down once they began and the device was activated; it whirred and spun, supercapacitors charged, and it emitted glows from its ruby maser chambers, radios would crackle the device was to amplify and carry the psy energy from the Stargate operator who would focus in on closing the portal, the beam would amplify carrying the will and focusing it. The beam struck the gateway, and inside it, creatures across the facility would howl and wail and begin converging on the position; the soldiers would fling grenades, unload their rifles, and light machine guns until the creatures were tripping over their own dead. The portal would begin to budge and crackle, starting to close; the scientists amplified the power, and its radiators glowed bright orange. Attrition was mounting, but the portal was nearly closed, rousing some cheers as the device reached maximum intensity. Something emerged from the portal, totally alien and horrific but strangely human; the soldiers pointed their rifles at it and released rounds, which stopped in place, the bullets being held by powerful psionic force, power only seen by N°1, seven years ago. The creature was floating and whipped the bullets back, dropping numerous soldiers and floating over to the device, the scientist's necks snapping like a sick rhythm from an unseen force. The twisted creature opened the coffin and pulled out N°5, who looked in horror at the creature before his head exploded in a cloud of viscera. The creature didn't want its gate closed, but the device would prove useful. The soldiers attempted to intervene by shooting or attempting to stab the creature but had been tossed aside by ragdolls. The monsters flowed in with renewed focus and vigour, tackling and tearing apart the soldiers. The creature would levitate the device they had brought here, pulling how it works from the dead scientists' minds and using it to do the opposite of closing the gate.

Eye of the Storm
The dimensional alien outstretched a hand, calling out a colossal eight-legged monstrosity from the port. It would move the device back towards the surface and towards the tower, knocking down a wall, and the colossal creature would shake the earth and crash through floors and walls on its journey to the surface. The enormous creature burst to the surface to act as a distraction immediately; tank guns were trained on it and opened fire, and streams of bullets embedded themselves into the amorphous colossus; with its many legs, it would flip tanks and rampage about. Radio was still down, and an APC was sent from the site to go secure an airstrike as the tanks and soldiers retreated from the site, maintaining fire. The device was activated again, but the soldiers did not realize this during the heated firefight. This time, it was firing at the huge 1,000m radio tower. The entity was far more powerful than N°5 and had a huge amplifier and a transmitter nicely delivered to him and would interface with the device firing at the tower the volume of psi waves unlike anything every created on the planet; all the creatures stared up at the sky as the clouds swirled and objects and debris began to levitate, the heat sinks glowed, and the generator vehicle was blown out. The device went dark, but it was too late, and a far more sinister super portal was forming in the sky.

The Superportal
A trio of aircraft tore through the skies and released Small diameter bombs from their bays onto the huge creature, exploding it thoroughly until it collapsed to the ground; the jets were hit with portal turbulence and were smacked around or floated in place or at strange angles, one of them went down and crashed into a huge blaze as the others returned to the road flooring it to return to base, one of the tanks was crushed by the entity who then levitated up to the Superportal the orange glow illuminating the countryside and a huge storm brewing like a hurricane which swirled around the rift. Lightning crackled from the clouds of alien motes brushing against one another, and a tornado-like swirling portal energy reached down to the ground, throwing stuff around with psionic energy or phasing things in and out of the realm. Then, the radio would return online as the entity entered the Superportal.

Ground Zero
Creatures began falling from the portal, and an emergency meeting was called to contain the new threat; the risk of the rift in the basement of the old research facility had practically become a non-issue in the wake of this colossal and rapidly growing portal. The JCD authorized Ballistic Missile launches and maximum saturation of the area; they needed more time and to clean the region for intervention. 240-cell MLRS trucks would surge down the road with thermobaric weaponry and as many artillery guns they could get into place; from missile bases, keys would be turned, and red buttons pushed as hundreds of ballistic and cruise missiles would take flight to converge and explode across the quarantine zone, shells would rain and afterwards bombers would carpet bomb the hell out of the region some bombers ripped from the sky by the storm, the town that was once here and held the survivors was flattened including any other towns and houses which may still have people and the area were soon engulfed in an intense blaze and a smoke pire reaching up into the skies, thousands upon thousands of the creatures had been killed.

RP: Portal Storm (2015 Segment)
The Superportal formed a physical storm like a hurricane, but the actual portal storm was far more sinister; the Superportal would pulse, sending shockwaves which expanded outwards, the effect negating gravity through psychic interference, causing structural devastation and destruction of the environment and smaller short-lived rifts forming in which creatures and plant-life can escape from into this world to spread further than the quarantine zone and create new pockets across the country. The Superportal had a tornado-like appendage that tore up the landscape and tossed objects around through raging psychic energy.

A state of emergency was declared, and martial law across Otyken from the catastrophe, though currently, it was most prominent in the Kaethet region, CC, JCA, and JCD were mobilized fully along with SI forces and emergency response. The citizenry naturally was terrified and not fully compliant, resulting in an incalculable amount of police violence and riots across the state. Buildings were shaken and knocked down, bridges collapsed, and objects would float around briefly before plummeting into the ground in an apocalyptic outbreak. Suddenly, colossal amounts of resources, scientists, and military assets were diverted to taking out the rift and super portal. Missile launches and columns of military assets became commonplace, moving in to clear out spawnings of creatures and torch plant growths. To dispel some of the confusion, a government emergency announcement was made and transmitted to devices across the country:

Disaster Site
Many theories emerged about the event, such as blaming Cxurun or tying it to the mysterious lights that had been reported to have been emitted from the deep ocean near the Naacal islands. Maintaining order had become nearly impossible as lootings and people fleeing congested roads and bridges collapsed from the portal storms; the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement conducted several mass shootings to quickly dispel the growing riots and civil unrest from the unfathomable events playing out here, disasters have happened in the past including earthquakes, tsunamis, monsoons and more but typically they were short-lived, weeks past and the city of Seiryoku was reduced to rubble with an estimated 122,912 people missing or killed a tragedy unlike anything the nation had seen since previous centuries and this human cost was expected to mount rapidly if the situation is not put under control.

No end in sight
The intensity of the storm was amplified and began knocking out communications and power across the region; the government has been preparing a new amplification device, and the catatonic Stargate operator N°2 underwent intense neural surgery and was installed with neuroprosthesis from the greatest technology available as the last best hope for closing this gateway. The device was enormous and needed to be moved by railway and required a nuclear SMR and coolant trucks to run, they also constructed a mobile sensory deprivation chamber for N°2, but as they worked to create this equipment, the storms raged on and the region was rapidly deteriorating, it was less felt further north and south, but the central states were in utter turmoil as services collapsed from the storm and casualties rapidly climbed. Looting, riots, and mass crime became commonplace, especially with the distribution of Energy Credits totally disrupted by a lack of communication channels or power and the slow diffusion of Jouel bank notes.

Dystopic Claims
N°2 was still in recovery, another city had fallen, and the news stopped reporting on the death count, though it's expected to have climbed to the millions as the rest of Seiryoku was wiped off the map; in the rural regions, they were not safe either as the wildlife was highly aggressive by design and attacks people and various predatorial plant growths, and otherworldly sicknesses became commonplace. Rations for the refugees generally included Gelatinated Calorie Paste (Rice Flavor) and Dessicated Sustenance Bar (Water Flavored). The size of the Super portal continued to grow, and gateways opened further from ground zero; the waves of portal energy increased in intensity some, but worse was the increase in range, indicating it would expand as long as it could and continue to terraform, destroy, and assimilate.

Against a Dimension
The armed forces have their work cut out for them at culling the alien wildlife amid supply chains and communications being highly disrupted; the portal storms have also adversely affected the weather, causing more rain, higher winds, and gloomy days with the sun frequently blocked by clouds. Subject N°2 had become coherent again and accepted the neural prosthesis, but was still too weak to deal a blow to the Superportal. The Technate has declared war on the encroaching dimension and the creature that commands them; the declaration was broadcast by radio, which they often interact with and seem to understand to some extent. Newly-produced chip manufacturing equipment from the Swiss made headway toward many research laboratories within the Celestial Union and the thirty Cantons. The wave of Swiss investments came in the form of incentivizing, developing, constructing, and operating new steel mills and establishments to grow the country’s domestic supply and production of steel. The nation would notoriously send athletes to all but one sport, that being Fencing. With a remaining 1,000 Peacekeepers, plus about 100 military advisors, still in the lands of Torimia, these would attend the Tribunals of Khanhad, awaiting to see the fate of the insidious, the dishonoured and bereft of humanity, though they would dare not witness the Zulgaakh, as the Dze were firm believers in that no member of one species ought to harm another in such a manner, a simple bullet to the head would be simpler, even if just as heretical in their eyes.
