I've recently been trying to develop some detailed lore behind my nation. Basically Haleakala is the name of one of the mountains on the Hawaiian island of Maui, and so I've been working on factbooks detailing my headcanon with a nation there.
My idea so far is that the nation of Haleakala was created in a future when the US mainland government was embroiled in some form of civil war, and Hawaii was abandoned by them. Maui and the surrounding islands then declare their independence, and establish a nationalist government intending to "return to their roots" as native hawaiians, forgoing many modern amenities to live as their ancestors did hundreds of years ago.
What do you guys think of that so far?

The URA Winter Olympics are a simulation based on the well.. the Winter Olympics of course. The event list below will indicate which events will be simulated.
Registration:
In order to register, all you need to do is provide me your nation name and 3 specialties via discord (Rex Omnia#1518) or telegram Rex omnia. Specialities are events that you can choose to have an advantage in. For example, if I choose to specialize in the 10km sprint, I mark that down on my registration, and I will then have a higher chance of success at the 10km sprint. You can choose 3 speciality events of your nation.
An example registration will be provided below:

Registration is open starting November 23rd, and closes by the end of November 30th.
Prize! If you manage to win the Olympics you will get your very own role on the URA Server. And for those who are not interested in prizes well you can make sure no one else can win.

You eyes suddenly open. You blink a few times to clear your gaze and shake your head to regain your bearings. With confusion you look around to find yourself on a plane while you sat by the window seat of the plane. There was a static tap on the microphone "I hope you have enjoyed your journey. We will be landing shortly ; it is advised to wear you coats as temperatures dip below 5°C. Enjoy your stay." You gaze out the window to see a stadium standing with a banner hanging down : "WELCOME TO THE URA OLYMPICS."
