"Well.." says Chaconas, one of the scientists in the expedition, "We may or may not be utterly screwed."
The 8 Byzantines in the forward expedition, with only scientific equipment and pistols, make the decision to try and get out of there, taking the creature and his spear with them and rushing back to the main base.
Meanwhile, the main base of around 50 to 60 has people researching the region around the area and a makeshift airstrip for scouting, when the forward expedition comes sprinting into the base.
The base members have no time to ask what happened or what they have brought with them, as they hear the same voices and footsteps that the expedition did.

By the time they had just entered their base the patrols would just barely see them dragging one of their own inside it, now from inside should they look outside the members of the expedition could see a band of four individuals, all of them alien in nature and seeming to hold crude weapons of swords and spears, one of them the tallest seeming to be the leader by it's stance.

Would also seem to be holding a banner of sorts, perhaps it being one of the associated tribes or communities now present or something more yet these four individuals in particular would seem now lost, discovering the presence of an unwanted fortification upon their own lands, and one by one they would depart back into the forest seeming at the commands of the leader of the group now remaining where it stood.

And as for the creature at hand, the one in which they had taken back to their installation now seemed distressed and shaken apparent from it's now visable shaking and fear, either believing in which it's death was near or simply frightened it would begin to mumble and speak within a hushed tone and once more within a language unknown.

And yet to their surprise their was something apparent upon its armor, engravings of a language similar in style and Apperance to be one of earth's first possible languages, Cuneiform.

Bucksden wrote:A few of the expedition crew had set up a table and some chairs underneath the wing of one of the Seagulls (most likely to play some card games while they figure out what to do next), while the rest were either keeping an eye on the spire or on the sensors within the Seagulls themselves. Just as Kristian was about to settle down, he heard shouting from one of the pilots.

"There's something on the sensors!"

Kristian swore under his breath. "Company, huh? Anyone got visual on these... somethings?"

One of the people watching the tower ran around the corner. "Yeah, about that... the pilot didn't specify how far away they were, right? One of them is approaching us right now. Doesn't look hostile... yet."

"We might get out of this without being eaten, that's good. I'll come around and have a look."

It's at this point that Kristian appears from behind the Seagull closest to these mysterious figures.

"Uh... hello there!"

With their attempt at speech would seem to surprise the others, many of which now looking at eachothers in confusion barely heard due to their hushed voices and forgotten language, the group would continue like this for a while before once again sending off the leader forward.

holding up it's hands in an attempt to display passiveness it would approach once more, before eventually motioning to itself and uttering a phrase just barely understood [" Xeosa "] it would attempt again before motioning to the banner it held.

Perhaps a type of faction or leadership or even a name of sorts, as communication was still quite difficult yet these individuals seemed intelligent to understand their attempts.

“Ah yes, I believe you can actually experience the sense of touch. It means you can hold someone dear to you.” She then realized something. “Heidi, do your parents know about...what happened?”

The Nippon Teikoku wrote:"I see. That is most unfortunate. But i completely understand the reasons why. That said the offer is still very much open. I would be truly honoured if you decide to choose Japan as your place of retirement. Still though, an extended vacation wouldnt hurt a girl. It could be quite fun. The Imperial Palace is always open to you be it a vacation or permanent stay." Momo smiled, a rarity for her around others, but she couldnt help not smiling around a friend as dear as Raph.

“Maybe once things become quiet...though these days that’s quite the rarity.” Raphtalia sighed. “I don’t know why, but we always seem to find ourselves in conflict with one thing or the other. Kunkenga, the Imperials...granted we’re not completely blameless but sometimes it almost seems like...too much.”

Three Imperials showed up on Hiei’s screen. One being the Captain of the Wyvern, wearing a nice white uniform. Closely next to him was his trusted advisor. Last was Sion himself, sporting a rather wet black field uniform.

“And Greetings to you, I’m Captain Jaa Pellian of this Dreadnaught belonging to the Imperial Order. This here is Special Forces Officer Sion and my advisor..Got to say, from where we stand it’s quite a sight.” He said referring to High Charity.

Sion moved in to whisper to Pellian. “What are you doing?! They’re trespassing in Imperial Territory! You know what that means?!” He said angrily.

The Captain just gave him a nasty look. “Remember your place while your on my ship, Officer.” he replied. He turned back to Hiei, “My apologies...I’m baffled your even here...I honestly think your the first to appear in our territory. That being said, what brings you here?”

Hiei's positronic brain assessed the situation, the body language, and the tone of the voices, as well as the content of the conversation that was being spoken. She listened carefully to the Captain and his assistants speaking both to her and each other. She adjusted her glasses ever so slightly, as she felt in their current position they didnt feel natural.

"I am most thankful for your compliments of my construct. It took quite a while to build her." Hiei listened and watched the more aggressive Sion speaking to the Captain. She maintained composure, as easily as she did everything else in her life. "Yes of course. I actually must apologize. I completed a routine run of High Charity's tests and was making the coordinates to jump, it appears that the coordinates were entered wrong and we ended up here. You have my thanks for not firing upon us right away, as is customary from your Government's protocol on these kinds of things." Hiei responded. "This is my daughter Xelha" Hiei introduced the blonde next to her. ( https://i.imgur.com/KhxDFnh.jpg )

We do understand that you border an enemy of the human race, the barbaric creatures in Kunkenga, and the Imperials have never been the kindest of people to you. Which is why I am so happy that our relationship, both internationally and personally, is so great. While true, these relationships have been strained through the various conflicts that you have been involved in, you have always seemed to defy the odds to bring us back to even ground, and then you do it again to bring back the friendship and allyship that we share and are working towards respectively. I truly think that a vacation is just what Lady Iwatani needs these days. Sure, there is only one Lady Iwatani, but if nobody else can do your job, then what of it in the first place?"

“Well, fortunately, the current government in Germany can handle any Earth matters. Speaking of which, have you and Chancellor Richter met?”

The Byzantines stand in silence for a few seconds, looking upon these individuals. They notice the Cuneiform, and speak in mutterings for a second.

Then one person rushes into a temporary building, comes out with a tablet, opens one of the applications on it, and begins to write.
He frantically writes, erasing, scribbling, and drawing symbols mysterious to much of the rest of the Byzantines.

Finally, he finishes, heading up to the creature and handing him a simple message in the oldest language on earth:
"WHO ARE YOU"

Ventus Prime wrote:“Ah yes, I believe you can actually experience the sense of touch. It means you can hold someone dear to you.” She then realized something. “Heidi, do your parents know about...what happened?”

Heidrun looked down with a grim look on her face. "I... have no idea. Once I was taken into custody, I never saw any of my family again. I hope they got to know of my fate, but... I doubt they did..."

I believe once. I dont recall, though i know that we should be on relatively good terms with them after my marriage to my precious and darling Erwin. Though i don't know what else we can possibly do the Chancellor and I. The threat of those vermin that are your neighbour still exist for sure, but i dont believe i can offer anything significant to that relationship. I admittedly am far more invested in the relationship we share."

By the time the talking started and one of them would seem to run off to get something the lone individual present would still be sitting where he was, attempting not to make eye contact with either of them before startled and surprised by one of them.

Now placing some type of device before him in a language similar to his own, seeming to demand in which who he was he would reach over towards the portion of his armor with the written language, managing to detach it and hand it outwards.

Motioning to the engravings on it, if understood even at a fundamental level of translation could be recognized as containing the word most roughly translated to as: ["Lesser"] roughly spoken as ["Asun"] whenever it spoke seeming to address to itself in some capacity, either through title or Identity.

Kristian went back to the others for a bit, in order to discuss the next course of action. Whoever these folks were, there was clearly a significant language barrier, and if any info at all was going to be gained from this encounter, that'd have to be worked out somehow. A few minutes of discussion later, they eventually decided to make sure of the reason they landed here in the first place: the spire.

Kristian would walk back up to the leader, and point towards the spire. "...Xeosa?"

Ventus Prime wrote:“Oh...I’m sorry...I’m sure they would be happy to see you, even in your current state. But it’s none of my business.”

"Heh, maybe they would be... Dad was an engineer, and always had a soft spot for robotics. Would've probably been interested to figure out how his daughter was turned into an AI, at least. I never really had that same passion... well, until I was forced to."

“Perhaps, but I’m sure if Japan was ever in need, Germany would be happy to help. After all, we’ve decided that Earth matters should only be handled by those on Earth. Unless a galactic power was interfering of course.”

"And if 'Germany' ever come into threat, then we would do our best to help them, even if your Chancellor shamefully has no wish to reunite the true German Empire. Which is a negative thing in my opinion" Momo replied.

Kristian would walk back up to the leader, and point towards the spire. "...Xeosa?"

With him approaching the leader either out of tradition or factors outside his own knowledge the leader of the group still concealed by most of it's cloak would begin to lower it, now revealing a distinctive face, near identical to his own yet with the presence of a hard substance over much of it's face and the sight of four eyes upon a hairless face.

After seeing his motion to the spire it would simple shake it's head before moving aside to a clearing and pathway behind them while pointing to the distant spire

As it pointed to the spire it would speak in a singular word, perhaps that being another faction or entity unknown ["Acira.."] it would then turn and point back to the dirtpath way behind the leader's own group speaking again ["Xeosa"]

with the leader's own face revealed many others within it's group would do the same, many consisting of the same color, a dark blue face holding red eyes, except for one, the second tallest other than the leader itself with a face of crimson and a more different appearance than the rest, the outlier seemed at first glance to be of another gender than the others yet still unable to confirm

“In all fairness, while Richter does wish to reunify Germany, he doesn’t want to start a war over it. That being said, I hope Kunkenga doesn’t feel intimidated and try to start a war themselves.”

Your Chancellor wishes to reunify Germany? That is truly inspiring, but again, I feel this detracts from our conversation topic. Honestly Lady Iwatani, if you wish to take some time off, be it to train or to just spend time with us even, it wont be any kind of inconvenience in the slightest. We welcome you with open arms"

“Thank you, I’ll certainly take you up on that offer. As long as nothing happens meanwhile...” She smiles but it’s easy to tell she wouldn’t be surprised if something did happen.

Hiei sat quietly. She wondered if she would be able to train Raphtalia in the short time they had. She would try for sure.

"Well, whatever the case, Im so happy to have you back over again. I wish we had more time to spend together. Theres so much we could do. I heard that some girls even paint each others nails which sounds like a load of fun" *Momo smiled then cleared her throat.

"Maho this lobster is truly divine. The Nishizumi family's reputation is true in every sense that can be thought of."

"Hmmm." Says the Scientist who handed "Lesser/Asun" says.
He gently takes back the tablet and writes some additional text in cuneiform, before handing it back to "Asun".

"CAN YOU TALK WITH OTHERS
SAY WE DO NOT MEAN HARM"
