The PDFEMO wishes to request material assistance from Imperial Eagle as part of its move to accelerate the movement of troops and materiel in high-altitude areas.

Past engagements suggest that the PDFGF is lacking in helicopters that are suited for altitudes of 5,000 meters above sea level, which form a sizable chunk of the FEUSSR's current theater of operations.

To that end, the PDFEMO wishes to acquire for the PDFGF the following:

    70 x S-70i Black Hawk utility helicopters

The FEUSSR, cognizant that it is not in a formal alliance with Imperial Eagle, is willing to waive the entitlement to any discount and will pay full price if requested.

As the Union Army is in the process of replacing the UH-60 Black Hawk, we can provide the requested amount with an extra amount 30 more, bringing the total to 100. Currently, the civilian model is not suited for service in a warzone and so we feel it better to provide the Army stock version for your uses. The total price will be cut to 200 Million Dollars and arrive in the coming weeks following transport to Guam.

Imperial Household Agency - Imperial Decree

In the light of the Empire of Japan’s dark past, as Tenno I have created and signed this Imperial Decree to hereby remove all names and references to Japanese war criminals in the Yasukuni Shrine as they are not worthy of a reference in the Shinto religion. In this decree I have also banned the sale, showing, and production of the movie called Pride which shows Hideki Tojo fought to defend Japan. These war criminals have brought great disgrace and dishonor upon the Empire of Japan and deserve no honor.

Signed,
Tenno Hirosito

Romanovskaya wrote:Shchegolyayeva flicks her blonde hair back and crosses her arms, eager to listen to Rayyans response to her proposition. She was unsure exactly how the Indonesian President would respond, but as she spoke, Daria became more relaxed and a smile came across her face.

She then responded to Rayyan. “That is great to hear. If you could pull a few strings for us, well I would be most grateful. We are actually also interested in purchasing some private property here, something like what you kindly facilitated for Mr. Sanguinetti. We were thinking a nice, private villa on the shores of one of your beautiful beaches, as well as perhaps a luxury apartment in the stunning city of Singapore.”

Shchegolyayeva then leaned in. “Of course, we expect that our business dealings here will be very discreet. Confidentiality is most important to us. You know what journalists can be like.”

Rayyan nodded with a chuckle. "Ah yes, no privacy for the weary when it comes to politics. But no matter, your private business is confidential here, privacy laws and banking privacy laws are respected virtues here. It's not often you'll hear of breaches of privacy, and for that, I am grateful." She reached to her side to pull out a large and rather unwieldy tablet, unsuited to travelling and yet here it was. She lowered her glasses a bit as she began to tap and swipe on the tablet, it would seem she already had something in mind. As she did so, the scenery was flashing past behind her, the endless city horizon began to break, the Java Sea finally coming into view in the distance. The Great Garuda Seawall sprawled outwards into the Sea, the verdant landscape contrasting with metropolitan Jakarta. Beyond the far edges of the newly reclaimed and developed land were the silhouettes of several large warships, the details of which could not be made out quite yet.

After about a minute or so she exclaimed before flipping the tablet around towards Shchegolyayeva and her husband. "Aha! Here we go. I'll let you have a look." Handing the tablet over to Shchegolyayeva to view, what greeted her was large slideshow depicting a grandiose and ultra luxurious villa. Much of the text was in Bahasa Indonesia, with that in mind, Rayyan translated the important information. "It has eight bedrooms, nine baths, fully furnished, a built in Maid House, swimming pool, four car garage, privacy fence with private garden, four floors and grand foyer, it was built in 2011, and is within walking distance of the beach. This one is located in Denpasar, the regional capital of Bali. Bali is one of Indonesia's most popular tourist destinations, so I took the liberty of ensuring it's within a private, gated community to ensure privacy is maintained. It's also a short drive from the Denpasar Airport, so should you ever need amenities of a larger city, Surabaya, is a short 55 minute flight away. Surabaya is one of Indonesia's largest cities, about 9.5 million people, and offers anything you could need that cannot be found in Bali. Your thoughts?" She asked as she leaned forward, interested if the two would select the Villa she hand selected.

News from Canada!

Plane disappears over Saskatchewan

Air Canada Flight 103, a passenger plane with 255 people aboard, has been declared missing after disappearing over Unorganized Saskatchewan. The flight, which departed from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and was destined for Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, lost all radio contact approximately half an hour after departing from Flin Flon, Manitoba, where it had a 45-minute layover.

Air Canada attempted to re-establish contact, but they were met with only static and a high-pitched "screeching" sound. At the same time, the plane was tracked by civilian and military radar as it made a sharp turn and deviated from its planned course. The Canadian military flagged the aircraft as it flew over Keewatin Territory and then Nunavut. After being determined to be "friendly", the craft was not shot down.

The flight continued before disappearing somewhere over the Canadian section of the Arctic Ocean. By this time, the military had been notified by Air Canada that a possible terrorist incident had occurred, and they were again placed on high alert. However, the plane was not seen again on radar and did not continue responding to pings. Its current whereabouts are unknown, although it most likely crashed in the Arctic Ocean. All 255 passengers and crew are presumed dead.

The Canadian public was informed of the incident the following day. President North gave a statement vowing to find the wreckage and provide closure to the families of people involved. The President also threatened to nationalize Air Canada for their "incompetence". The company quickly came forward and promised to provide financial compensation to the families, as well as grief counseling.

Suspects include the captain, who was reportedly suffering from depression, or otherwise some unknown terror group who hijacked the plane and sent it on a suicide mission to crash in the Arctic. It is unclear who might have wanted to do this. So far, no one has come forward and claimed responsibility for the disaster. Air Canada and Canadian law enforcement said they were inclined to believe it was a terrorist incident, as the plane's 11-man crew would have almost certainly stopped the captain from going on a suicide mission.

Members of the captain's family have come forward stating that they believed he had been "planning something" like this for a very long time. However, four individuals were determined to have boarded the plane with fake boarding passes. This raised eyebrows across Canada and led to several members of the Winnipeg airport security being fired. A fifth man, a pilot from New Brunswick who was flying to Yellowknife to visit his daughter, was also scrutinized intently before being ruled out as a suspect.

The incident will lead to increased precautions being taken at Canadian airports, as well as equipping airplanes with more advanced technology and possibly in-flight security officers. One Air Canada employee stated that he will never forget the "unsettling" high-pitched static that he heard while trying to re-establish radio contact with Flight 103.

Sony and Nintendo - Release of VR Headset

Sony and Nintendo have announced that they will be developing a VR headset that will be compatible as standalone as-well as with the Nintendo Switch, PC platforms, and PlayStation. They will be starting a joint venture company that will be called Sonin which the PlayStation VR and PlayStation VR2 will fall under as-well as the new headsets they develop. The PlayStation VR headsets will keep their namesake but will be called the Sonin PlayStation VR instead. After the new VR headset is developed since it’s compatible as stand-alone, with the Nintendo Switch, with the PlayStation, and with a PC; the PlayStation VR and PlayStation VR2 will be discontinued from production. Sonin is currently in talks with Steam about making it compatible with SteamVR. The new VR headset will also be capable of remotely controlling the Sony phone brand if a person possess it and remote mirroring.

Nintendo will also be developing Mario Kart, Animal Crossings, SuperSmash Bros, Legend of Zelda, and Pokémon to have a VR version which will be available for free for all users who already have the game on the Nintendo Switch and also will be included in future purchases on the game which will be available on the Nintendo Switch and the store that the Iris 1 will have. The store that the Sonin will have will be called the Sonin Market and feature VR compatible Nintendo games, Sony games, games sold on the PlayStation Network, and any VR compatible games that other companies wish to sell on the Network. The name of the VR headset is called the Sonin Iris 1 and is expected to finish development in about two years and full release in about three years which it will be available on all stores/outlets that sell Nintendo/Sony merchandise, Amazon, and the Nintendo/Sony stores. Sonin will also be developing the Sonin Iris 1+ which is based on the Sonin Iris 1 but will feature 5G network capability which will make it be able to use it without Wi-Fi access and just cellular data, higher screen resolution, along with a Iris scanner to unlock it if users choose to use it. Sonin is currently in talks with telecommunication networks to develop plans that will be available for users that can be bought in the Sonin Market store. It is expected to be a major competitor with Oculus.

Sonin will also be constructing a data center that will be for all European traffic in Lulea, The-kalmar-union. A factory for production is currently being constructed in Taihoku Prefecture (Taipei), Formosa (Taiwan).

                Pushback near Leh.

Troops bound for Leh were forced to delay their advance after
IPA guerrillas mounted an ambush 30 kilometers south of Khardung,
              killing 9 before withdrawing.

The site of the ambush was Khardung La, the strategic mountain
pass which controls access from Leh to the remainder of Ladakh.
At 10am local time, a PDFGF reconnaissance detachment deployed
from the village of Khardung to the pass, with orders to secure the
checkpoint at South Pullu in anticipation of a larger afternoon
advance. The unit was comprised of 300 troops divided into 3
companies. The first would proceed along the mountain road, while
the other two would cover the advance from the ridges framing the
              pass.

First to encounter hostile combatants was the first company, who
engaged the IPA on an elevated terrace after being pinned down
by machine gun fire. It was at this point that the PDF lost control
over the flow of the battle. The IPA had strategically placed light
machine guns on both ridges to block the advance of the other two
companies, meaning that the first company was cut off and unable
to receive support from the ground.

The first company, left to their own devices, took firing positions
along the slopes of the ridges. They exploited the blind spots
created by the angle of the slope, which forced IPA forces to stop
firing. Air support during this lull, followed by an abortive attempt
to charge the slope. The second and third companies coordinated
a simultaneous tridirectional attack not long after, which forced
IPA forces to pull back by a few hundred meters.

A pair of J-10s at Thoise Airbase were scrambled to provide close
air support. They reached the scene in 5 minutes and deployed
precisionp-guided munitions against the IPA hostiles. A bulk of
the group - some 30 fighters - was killed, but some successfully
              withdrew back to the mountains.

The ambush at Khardung La is expected to delay the advance
on Leh by a day, as the PDFGF was forced to stop prematurely
at South Pullu to reassess their tactical position and deploy
sentries to protect the path from the Nubra.

PDF mounts successful defence at Sakti.

An attempt by Free india- to retake Sakti has been repulsed in
a heroic showing by the PDFGF which saw over 100 IPA troops killed
              or wounded.

The IPA preceded the attack by a partial encirclement of the PDF's
positions in Sakti, before opening fire with machine guns, rocket-propelled
grenades, unguided rockets, and mortars. Counter-battery radars
pinpointed the IPA positions and allowed the PDFAF to retaliate with
drone strikes. However, the retaliatory strikes came too late to
prevent the IPA's softening of PDF defences, with the local units
losing some of their combat vehicles and mortars in the initial assault.

The Sakti detachment was then attacked by a coordinated force of
between 200 and 250 IPA troops from three directions: south, east,
and west. They remained in contact with PDFAF forces in Daulat Beg
Oldi (DBO) and Thoise Airbase, who were able to airdrop ammunition,
provide helicopters to evacuate the wounded, and strike at advancing
enemies. Three danger-close fire missions were called, all of which
              reportedly struck true.

The victory, however, did not come without cost. 18 were killed
and 27 wounded. This has been one of the toughest engagements
in the FEUSSR's military campaign so far, barring the campaign
at the Saser La Highway of Death and Siachen battle. This
coordinated attack was a break from the IPA's modus operandi of
roadside ambushes or sporadic skirmishes, and suggests that it
is gradually recovering from the initial PDF penetration into Ladakh.
The outcome of the battle, while positive, foreshadows the possibility
of resistance getting tougher, particularly as the PDF finds itself
wedged between mountains and snowlands for the time being.

Agreement to establishing education corridor and commonality

The European Council has established a new framework for members to be able to more easily associate and cooperate in the area of education. The agreement allows universities across the EC to ensure compatibility for standards and practices. The quality of higher education qualifications is also of focus in this agreement.

In doing so, transferring credits from university to university will be easier and less confusing, both for the university and the student. These credits will be transferable through the European Credit System. Credit hours will be recognized in this system as valid in other universities within the EC.

Depending on the degree program, 160-240 credits will typically award a bachelors degree in the students chosen program. This first cycle does not establish an honors program, however individual universities may ward bachelors with honors on a case by case basis. For the Masters, 60-120 credits will be needed for earning this second part of the cycle.

As for Doctorates, there is no formal establishment of credits needed, as it is determined by the program and university.

While this agreement sets up a common standard of agreements and ease for students to navigate the European educational community, it does not replace the standards of individual universities.

The quality of education will still be continued to be monitored by each member states own department or ministry of education or its equivalent, but will still set up a common quality assurance ministry in the European Council. This enables the EC to ensure fairness across the board for students and the universities.

This agreement is a massive step in the direction of increasing the quality of education and enabling member states to more closely cooperate together. In due time students across the EC will be able to travel and participate in EC sponsored student transfer programs and to live abroad. This will create and foster a more dynamic and specialized European community.

The Girl from Kalmar
Part Three

The blades of the helicopter seemed to slow down the longer Maj-Britt Haglund looked at them. She wanted them to slow down. Perhaps she needed something to slow down.

All of her life she has been going close to the speed of light. She wanted to move fast and outpace a world that doesn’t care how fast she moves. She just had to beat the world. In someways, she did. She graduated from her school top of her class. She graduated from infantry school with being called a dead eye and top of her class. The first woman to do so in the history of The Royal Army.

Did she make the news headlines? Briefly. But her parents never sent a congratulations. Not for being the top of her classes. They didn’t even show up to her graduation ceremonies.

A tear trailed down her cheek and fell into the abyss of the trees below. She watched it fall with intent. It too did not slow down.

Her ears still have a ring from the flash bangs that the frogmen tossed into the room. She can still feel the explosion in her chest. She ached, she was bruised, and she was alive.

Belize has proven to be a consequence for Maj-Britt. In these actions she has seen explosions from the IED’s, the strange sounds of animals in the trees, and now she has fallen out of the sky.

Maj-Britt closes her eyes and her fists clench. She can still taste the air from the crash sight. It was humid and the air thick with the smell of burning fuel and munitions. She wasn’t sure how she managed to survive. The only other thing she knows is she blacked out and awoke with her hands tied around a pole.

She stared out into the night sky and pondered. Instead of thoughts and the sounds of home in her head it only became filled with silence. Her tears trailed down her face even more heavily.

One of the rescuers, a special forces frogmen looks at her. He hands her a cloth. She clenched it but winces in pain. She smiles, and somehow that is painful for her also.

Wiping the tears away she stares harder into the sky. If the blades and tears won’t slow down, will the rest of the universe slow down instead?

The Times of London: 'Brillante' "Activity on the wane in Belize"
MoD updates on Belize conflict

Several months into the conflict and the MoD has stated there is now ‘little’ resistance left of the Brillante insurrectionary group in Belize with activity 'on the wane'. Villages and townships are in the main, now cleared, with local forces holding patrols and check points to keep them safe and allied forces providing supplies and patrolling roadways and in the air.

Patrols, by drone and Harrier will continue in bordering regions, although civilians and native peoples are returning to their villages and townships. The MoD stated that the most important job now was collection of dangerous and polluting substances, disarmament and de-mining.

Approximately 4,000 insurgents have been killed in the conflict with 1,852 captured. They will be tried in Belize, with what is to be done with them currently under discussion. The situation is further complicated by the drug addiction and obvious signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorders displayed by the prisoniers.

Around 87 civilians were killed by Brillante, 'single digits' caught in crossfire by special forces from the The-kalmar-union -Empire of Japan- and Imperial Eagle.

Collective security entente command stated that the combat experience had been 'invaluable'. Yet again, the Harrier MKV had proven its worth as a short range multi-purpose air platform, capable of VTOL in the smallest of clearings and with low price per flight hour.

PDF Equipment Management Office - CLASSIFIED

A closer review of PDFAF performance in Free india- has prompted the PDFEMO to acquire 120 units of the Harrier Jump Jet MKV from British Crown Commonwealth at a price of $2.08 billion USD. The Harrier jets are to be fitted for but not with avionics, electronic systems, and radar systems. Upon delivery they will be fitted with domestic variants for compatability purposes.

The acquisition follows a prior procurement effort for 100 UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.

The PDFAF's combat performance has been constrained by a bottleneck in airworthy facilities in Ladakh. The only airfields capable of fielding fixed-wing aircraft in Ladakh are Thoise Airbase and Daulat Beg Oldi (DBO). Should the two facilities be rendered unusable - which remains a serious possibility - PDFAF forces will need to make a longer journey from the Aksai Chin or Xiyu SSR before they can complete their missions.

The availability of STOVL fighters will permit the PDFAF greater operational flexibility concerning the placement and deployment of its fighters, much to the PDF's overall benefit.

More export success for Harrier MKV as FEUSSR and gran Columbia added to the roster of nations fielding the ‘Jump Jet’.
124 Jets ordered

As part of an upcoming treaty between the British Crown Commonwealth and Gran Republic of Colombia, the nation has ordered 4 Harrier MKVs at £108mn.

In a controversial decision, the BCC has agreed after previous requests were denied to supply the jet to the Far Eastern Union of Soviet Republics who have ordered 120. So that the HMKV is compatible with FEUSSR equipment, the avionics, radar and displays will not be supplied. This will also ensure that sensitive Collective security entente equipment is protected.

An initial batch of 64 will immediately be supplied from the BCC's own stock (once sensitive equipment has been removed). With production lines ramped up for further construction.

Justifying the sale to the FEUSSR’ PDF the MoD said “The Harrier is not designed for symmetrical warfare between great powers and with its myriad of highly capable aircraft the FEUSSR has many other options at it's disposal. In our view therefore the HMKV does not represent a threat to regional partners. However, it will help the FEUSSR with it’s a campaign against the regime of Free india-. Which given they have detonated two nuclear weapons close to British Territory, is of course something that HM Government is keen to urgently support”.

The total value of the capital contract with the FEUSSR is $2.08bn with agreement for training and spare parts.

The Oen Apartments will be part of the Norwegian goal of funding energy efficient housing, and developing Oslo into a new green hub of Europe.

The recently announced wind farms will enable Norway to make this a reality, and by extension the entirety of the Kalmar Union will benefit.

The apartment building will be done in two years (104 RL days)

Norway, Bureau of Development

The construction for the planned apartments and supporting infrastructure has been completed. The building, administered for now by the Bureau of Development, will house hundreds of families.

Special applications for those wishing to live in Norway or in the area for work are also encouraged to apply for an apartment.

The energy independence and green lifestyle will help usher in a new thought on energy usage, and push a greener and more clean future for Norway and the Union as a whole. We are excited for what comes next.

Taylor unveils new plans for Canada

Speaker Stephen Taylor has revealed an "eleven-point plan" for Canada if he is elected President.

1: Canada will again take part in foreign military initiatives
2: Canada will lower tariffs drastically and abolish North-era protectionist measures
3: Canada will withdraw from the Arctic Security and Research Accords and cut diplomatic ties with Communist regimes across the world
4: Canada will increase domestic surveillance and homeland security activities to curb the spread of terrorism
5: Canada will revert to the old Maple Leaf Flag
6: Canada will consent to the formation of "Nunatsiaq" from the territories of Nunavut, Kivalliq, and Kalaallit Nunaat
7: Canada will drastically decrease border and customs security
8: Canada will accept more refugees and immigrants
9: Canada will implement a "hawkish", pro-West foreign and military policy
10: Canada will increase both military and welfare spending by 20%
11: Canada will exit the era of climate change denialism and will join other Western nations in research addressing the climate crisis

Mr. Taylor also offered the Progressives an olive branch by promising to choose a female, Progressive vice presidential candidate if the Progressives don't make it past the first round of elections. About half of the policy points were made to placate the more radical Progressive forces within Canada, while the other half reflect Mr. Taylor's beloved "hawkish centrism".

North spoke out against Taylor's eleven points, calling Taylor a "clown" who was looking to create problems when there were none to be had. "There is nothing at all wrong with my beautiful welfare plan," he said.

Conspiracy theorists paint dark picture surrounding Flight 103's disappearance

Conspiracy theorists had a field day in the aftermath of the Flight 103 incident. According to a viral post on one infamous right-wing online message board, the plane's passengers were actually captured by the Japanese military and taken to a secret lab for human experimentation.

The post was followed by an update saying that President North was planning on "exposing" the sinister lab and filing lawsuits against Japan. Mocking Japan has been an old favorite tactic of the Canadian far right since the Second World War, but President North will undoubtedly ignore or scoff at such theories if they are brought to his attention.

Eulumia wrote:Rayyan nodded with a chuckle.

Shchegolyayeva nods and smiles. “Oh I wasn’t doubting your nations privacy laws and banking practices, I know very well that there will be no problems in that regard, that is partly why business continues to grow between our two nations after all. No, what I meant was more so around journalists and photographers sniffing around, trying to spot us as we conduct our business. We would require property in very exclusive areas with good security to keep them at a safe distance so we can conduct our affairs in peace.”

As Rayyan presents the tablet to Shchegolyayeva, she leans in to take a closer look. Her husband, Leonid Charkov remains laid back in his chair, but listening to the conversation. Shchegolyayeva says. “Oh look at that, isn’t that just absolutely beautiful? A private gated community is exactly what we need, I don’t think we would be bothered there at all. I am sure we would enjoy ourselves there, perhaps even invite you over when our schedules align. You are familiar with this area Barriss?” Shchegolyayeva scrolls through the webpage to see the price. $4.3 million. Shchegolyayeva turns to her husband. “$4.3 million Leonid, what do you think?”

Charkov raises an eyebrow, smiles and then shrugs his shoulders. “If that's what you want honey, I don’t see any issue with it. We will need to visit first to ensure the villa and the surrounding area is suitable.” He glances out the window, noticing a number of warships appearing on the horizon. “Seems we are approaching our destination.” he remarks.
