Commemoration of the first Syldavo-Medician war
"Hello to all citizens of Medici,
Today we celebrate the commemoration of the end of the Syldavo-Medician conflict. The Syldavian emperor Vladimir, made a special trip to Citate Di Ravello to meet our good General.
A new war memorial was built in the city center. The Syldavian delegation and the General observed a minute of silence for the dead of this terrible conflict. Symbol of friendship with Syldavia, General Di Ravello and Vlamidir of Syldavia together placed a wreath in front of the monument.
The delegation then met at the General's palace for a dinner out of sight.
The city has been under close surveillance since the arrival of the Syldavian monarch. The militia patrols in numbers and airspace and continuously monitored. Tonight, fireworks will be fired at 8:35 p.m., time of the end of the conflict.

My dear Anna,
The war has been going on for one week, the enemy has advanced to the east with lightning speed, gripping our battalion. We were surrounded in the woods of Verrez, they took us to a farm which serves as a prison camp.
Yesterday they shot a young officer who was trying to flee. Poor guy. The food here is disgusting, we pile up as best we can among the piles of hay. Captain Jean Reyau brought us together and asked for courage and argued that we will win. I doubt it, the enemy has advanced so far that I do not know if the armies in the west will arrive in time.
Tomorrow, we will be taken to another camp in the Northwest, we are heading towards Roraria. The Rorarians don't seem to be the monsters His Highness claims, I even chatted with one of them. He gave me a cigarette. He told me about the war and we talked about everything and nothing.

On behalf of His Imperial Highness the Lord Regent, Eurasia officially releases the First Mandate of the Regent to the public:

1. The Imperial Duma shall be reopened after extended suspension.
a. The Imperial Duma shall only have power over internal affairs, and will still be subject to the Grand Imperial Council, specifically, the Imperial Ministry of Internal Affairs.
I. For this purpose, the Imperial Ministry of Internal Affairs shall create a new Imperial Department. This Imperial Department shall be dubbed “The Imperial Department of the Duma”.
b. The Imperial Duma shall be made up of the 28 Grand Dukes and Duchesses of Eurasia, as well as the 5 Namestniks that oversee Eurasia’s colonies and protectorates. Should more lands be colonized or directly added into Eurasia, then they too shall gain representation.
I. Vassal states will be able to send representatives to the State Imperial Duma, who may request the Imperial Duma to address a certain situation and state their opinions on votes. However, they will be unable to vote in the Imperial Duma.
c. A political party, dubbed “The National Imperial Unity League of Eurasia”, shall be created. This party shall be the only legal party in the Imperial Duma.
I. The National Imperial Unity League will be led by a representative chosen by the Imperial Department of the Duma and approved by the Grand Imperial Council.
2. Eurasia’s official classification shall be changed from “Grand Empire” to “Imperial Regent State” to show the new change of leadership.
a. When a successor to His Grand Imperial Majesty is found and officially coronated, the classification of “Grand Empire” shall return.
3. A new day of mourning shall be created.
a. This day, dubbed “Abdication Day”, will be 10 May, and will be made to mourn the abdication of His Grand Imperial Majesty.
4. His Imperial Highness Vladimir Vladimirovich Murmanov shall become Deputy Regent of Eurasia.
a. The positions of both Wrath of His Grand Imperial Majesty and Voice of His Grand Imperial Majesty shall remain vacant at this time.
b. The Hands of His Grand Imperial Majesty and the Fists of His Grand Imperial Majesty shall be commanded by the Lord Regent.

Hello there! To answer your question, there is the Confederation Defense Force (CDF), which all CCD member states have to contribute a percentage of manpower to. The full dispatch for the act can be viewed here:
The purpose of this act is to replace its obsolete predecessors, Air Force Reform Act 2019 and Navy Reform Act 2019, with a single, comprehensive, sweeping bill designed to establish a regional military, larger and more capable than that outlined in prior legislation. This act is implemented in the belief that the existence of a regional military force will strengthen region-wide unity and loyalty, keep the peace within the Confederation, fend off attacks from without, aid in the general defence of weaker member states, and provide effective and rapid disaster relief for those who need it.
The regional government of the Confederation of Corrupt Dictators shall maintain a Confederation Defence Force, or “CDF,” at all times, consisting of an Army, a Navy, an Air Force, and a Space Force.
The regional government shall maintain the infrastructure necessary to absorb as many personnel and as much materiel as is necessary at any given time, particularly in times of crisis, and to expand and contract as necessary.
The Department of Defence shall assume full responsibility for the command, training, equipment, specific allocations of funds, and general maintenance of the CDF.
All member states of the Confederation shall participate in the upkeep of the CDF.
Member states shall contribute no less than the equivalent of 5% of their military budget for the upkeep of the CDF, in the form of equipment, supplies, or money.
Nations with a GDP of the equivalent of 30 trillion Standard Monetary Units or less, or an economic efficiency rating of under 60, shall be required to supply a minimum contribution equivalent to 1% of their military spending.
Nations with a population of under 100 million people shall be exempt from this obligation.
Regulations and requirements regarding non-monetary contributions shall be established by the Department of Defence, or relevant components thereof, according to the needs of the CDF.
Nations may request a lowering or waiving of this obligation in exigent circumstances, on an individual basis, from the Secretary of Defence.
All member states shall contribute to the manning of the CDF.
Member states shall be required to supply a number of participants, human or otherwise, equivalent at least to 2% of their militaries.
Nations with a population of under 100 million people shall be exempt from this obligation.
Nations may request a lowering or waiving of this obligation in exigent circumstances, on an individual basis, from the Secretary of Defence.
All personnel of a nation leaving the region will be immediately withdrawn from the CDF, and all obligations not met will not be met. All funding presently being received from that nation will cease immediately. All CDF units, equipment, and bases deployed in that nation not belonging to it, or on its behalf elsewhere, shall be immediately withdrawn. All non-personnel contributions shall remain the property of the CDF.
In regional crises, such as war either foreign or domestic, natural disasters, or major disease outbreaks, the President, with the advice and consent of the Secretary of Defence, in a public statement, or the Imperial Council, may unilaterally raise the aforementioned obligations, or demand a specific number of troops or amount of money from all nations, for the duration of the crisis, as deemed necessary by the party in question.
The Imperial Senate may, through procedure established in II.ix of the Imperial Senate Act 2020:
Force a vote to declare a regional crisis and raise obligations;
Force a vote challenging the decision of the President to raise obligations.
A majority vote in the Imperial Senate may, with an appropriate motion:
declare a crisis and raise obligations;
veto the decision of the President to do the same;
impeach the Secretary of Defence for a dereliction of duty or abuse of power;
lower obligations for any duration;
amend this act.
The Imperial Council shall possess supreme authority over the Confederation Defence Force, to be exercised at its discretion.
The Secretary of Defence and their subordinates are obligated at all times to obey any directives from the Imperial Council regarding the CDF.
The Imperial Council may unilaterally assume direct control of the CDF away from the Department of Defence. Should the Imperial Council assume control, the Imperial Senate will lose all powers regarding the CDF, unless the Imperial Council directs otherwise.
The Imperial Council and the Shadow Cult are exempt from all obligations put forth by this legislation.
The purpose of the Confederation Defence Force is to defend the region from foreign invasion, intervene in intraregional wars, keep the peace between member states that are at odds, provide search-and-rescue, disaster relief and medical aid for member states in need of it, defend the Shadow Emperor, and carry out the will of the Imperial Senate, Imperial Council, and Shadow Emperor.
Personnel joining and participating in the CDF must meet standards of fitness in various areas.
All organic personnel participating in the CDF must undergo a loyalty test designed, operated and reviewed by the Department of Defence, or relevant components thereof, in order to join, and annually thereafter. The loyalty test must evaluate the individual’s loyalty to the Confederation, to its governing bodies, and above all to the Shadow Emperor.
Robots and AI must undergo hardware and software inspections, by relevant experts belonging to the aforementioned bodies, to ensure perfect loyalty.
All organic personnel must be tested for psychological and medical fitness to serve by relevant professionals selected by the recruitment offices responsible for the branch at hand before joining and annually thereafter.
Robots and AI must undergo hardware and software inspections upon entering the CDF, and annually thereafter, by relevant professionals to ascertain that there are no faults, malfunctions, bugs, or other flaws that might degrade capacity to serve.
Non-monetary, non-personnel contributions must be determined to be safe and capable of performing their intended functions.
All equipment contributed or purchased must be examined by relevant professionals to ensure proper functioning, at the time and in the future.
All medical equipment and supplies must undergo examination to ensure their own, category specific standards of safety and effectiveness.
All food, fuel, and other supplies must undergo examination to ensure their own, category specific standards of safety.
Each branch must maintain sufficient medical personnel/robots and equipment that:
they might reasonably be able to treat an adequate number of troops during and after battle, at least as many as would be expected in a modern military;
they might, in cooperation with the other branches, provide substantial medical aid to member states in need.
Standards for training, equipment, logistics, command, further standards for fitness, and other factors, shall be established by the Department of Defence, or any relevant components thereof, sufficient to ensure general combat effectiveness of all participants, and effective utilization of all equipment.
A standard of compatibility among contributed participants and equipment from all nations shall be established, sufficient that differences between those participants and equipment do not in anyway degrade the cohesiveness and combat effectiveness of the Confederation Defense Force.
The Department of Defence shall ensure that each branch of the Confederation Defence Force is provided with the highest quality equipment and most advanced technology affordable.
The Secretary of Defence shall establish a proper command structure for each branch of the Confederation Defence Force.
The Secretary of Defence may delegate or withdraw authority over any particular part of the CDF to an office of their creation within the Department of Defence, however, ultimate responsibility for the proper execution of necessary tasks lies with the Secretary of Defence.
The Imperial Council may hold responsible any official it views to have neglected or mishandled the duties and responsibilities established by this act, or abused or misused their powers provided by this act, in any way, and may penalize them as it deems fit.
The Imperial Confederation Army, or “ICA,” shall be the primary ground force of the Confederation Defence Force.
The mission of the Imperial Confederation Army shall be the defence of Confederation borders, fulfilling the role of primary peacekeeping force in the region with the aid of the other branches, the defence of Confederation interests, and the assault upon and occupation of enemies of the Confederation.
Its focus shall be on infantry, armour, artillery, and special operations forces, defence equipment and tactics such as barbed wire, entrenchment, fortification, and others, and all units and capabilities, both manned and unmanned, human, robotic, or otherwise, necessary to support its mission.
The ICA shall receive approximately 25% of all personnel committed to the CDF. This number is subject to change by the Secretary of Defence as deemed necessary.
The Imperial Confederation Air Force, or “ICAF,” shall be the primary aerial combat element of the Confederation Defence Force.
The mission of the Imperial Confederation Air Force shall be the achievement of air superiority in combat, the defence of Confederation airspace with both aircraft and ground-based air defence systems, and the support of the CDF at large in any way possible with its given capabilities.
Its focus shall be on combat, transport, tanker, search-and-rescue, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft, both fixed-wing and rotary-wing, and both manned and unmanned. It shall also employ radar, and any other technology required to adequately perform its mission. It shall field all units and capabilities necessary to perform its mission, including special operations forces and other ground personnel.
The ICAF shall receive approximately 20% of all personnel committed to the CDF. This number is subject to change as deemed necessary by the Secretary of Defence.
The Imperial Confederation Navy, or “ICN,” shall be the primary maritime combat and patrol element of the Confederation Defence Force.
The mission of the Imperial Confederation Navy shall be the defence of Confederation coasts and shipping, dominance of the sea in war, defence of Confederation interests overseas, transport of infantry and supplies to war zones, and the prevention of illicit trafficking if necessary.
Its focus will be on combat, transport, supply, minesweeping, surveillance, reconnaissance, and submarine vessels, in addition to maritime and carrier-borne combat, patrol, surveillance, anti-submarine warfare, search-and-rescue, and tanker aircraft, in all cases manned or unmanned. It shall also employ radar, and any other technology required to adequately perform its mission. It shall field all units and capabilities necessary to perform its mission, including special operations forces and other ground personnel.

The Imperial Confederation Space Force, or “ICSF,” shall be the primary space combat and surveillance element of the Confederation Defence Force.
The mission of the Imperial Confederation Space Force shall be the monitoring of space for potential threats, the management of satellites, anti-satellite warfare, the boarding of potentially threatening spacecraft, and achieving dominance of space in combat.
Its focus shall be on spacecraft of all purposes, particularly combat. It shall also employ satellites, radar, telescopes, and any other technology required to adequately perform its mission. It shall field all units and capabilities necessary to perform its mission.
The ICSF shall receive approximately 30% of all personnel committed to the CDF. This number is subject to change as deemed necessary by the Secretary of Defence.
The Secretary of Defence, or the Imperial Council if they have assumed control, may deploy Confederation Defence Force units in any nation within the Confederation with that nation’s prior consent.
A nation may, individually, providing a proper reason, request deployment of CDF units within their borders from any of the bodies mentioned in VIII.i.
When deployed under the circumstances outlined in VIII.i or VIII.ii, the CDF may only act within prior limits agreed upon by both the body responsible for deployment and the nation within which units will be deployed.
The Secretary of Defence must deploy the Confederation Defence Force with the goal of ending, preventing, or mitigating conflict, and/or upholding the laws of the Confederation, with or without the consent of nations involved, in any of these circumstances:
If the Secretary and President, in joint agreement, decide that a conflict has gone on long enough.
If the Secretary deems a conflict a stalemate, defined as an inactive conflict.
If the Weapons of Mass Destruction Act 2020 is violated.
If the number of sides of conflict exceeds 2% of the Confederation member nation count. Any other armed forces officially participating in the conflict are also considered a side of a conflict.
If a conflict is degrading the sovereignty of the Imperial Council.
If a conflict is degrading the sovereignty of the Shadow Emperor.
The Secretary of Defence may order the CDF to take actions as the Secretary deems appropriate to achieve any of the goals stated in VIII.iv, when deployed under any of the circumstances defined in VIII.iv.a-f.

Besides the CDF, there is plenty to do, such as being a part of the Imperial Senate. To be a part of the Senate, simply telegram Hms nhs your Senator’s name. There are also political parties. Besides that, there are plenty of possible rp that can be created, from individual rp’s where you are the only one involved to alliances between other nations, such as OTO and LOPN, the two major ones. Initial details suggest the operation was in fact illegal, and that there may be survivors in the rubble. The Kelibran Government intends to rescue every individual possible, and the perpetrators responsible for illegally exploiting our land will face the law in due time. Search and Rescue teams are inbound to the site as we speak, and more information will be disclosed soon. I cannot field any more questions at this time.”
Chairman Osborne strode off the stage, back into the navy blue curtains behind him. Under guarded escort, he made his way back to his office, where an aide was waiting, phone in hand. Osborne picked it up:

The Duma has not even been open for a day, and they were already fighting.
The Lord Regent and his entourage watch on as the small but extremely vocal group of Grand Dukes and Duchesses yell and shout at each other, some even fighting and throwing anything they can find. One object that was thrown ends up hitting one of the Lord Regent’s aides square in the head, the man dropping like a brick immediately. Varskov sighed in annoyance, as the Lord Regent turns to him.
“Imperial Minister, I thought we had guards on duty to prevent this from happening?”
“Lord Regent, the guards were, dispatched by the Duma members almost immediately. Nothing short of a tank would stop them.”
“Let’s test that theory.”
As he says this, a group of the Grand Imperial Guard bursts into the room, quickly breaking up all fights and dragging the nobles back to their seats. After a few minutes, the Lord Regent clears his throat, and begins to speak.
“Grand Dukes, Duchesses, Namestniks, and Volkhvs, you have all been gathered here today for the first session of the State Imperial Duma. Clearly not all have arrived yet, and the group already here has began to make me regret reopening this...... establishment. You most likely know what happened to the previous Duma, do not make the same mistakes as it. Now, you all will listen to what your supervisor, Duke Varskov Murmanov, Imperial Minister of Internal Affairs, has to say.”

Dame Anastasia Clarke HCF has come under a terrible illness in the last couple of days. She stayed in Vocryae resting, hoping it would improve but her condition has now deteriorated. As such, she has returned to her home nation of Hms nhs to be looked after there. This was done with the permission of His Supreme Majesty.
Due to the fact that the Lady Overseer is not present in Vocryae, the election can not take place. Therefore, the election is being postponed until the 21st of May 2021. This will give sufficient time for the Dame to return to full health and return to Vocryae. This action has permission from His Supreme Majesty.
Candidates for election are advised to campaign in this next week, with criticism being heard from the Lady Overseer before here illness about the lack of political promoting of parties in the Senate currently.
Entries for candidates are still being accepted - to do so, telegram the Ministry of the Senate with your full Cabinet plans!

Leon sighed heavily. "Yes, come in."
A young secretary walks in, and enters, standing by the door.
"Mr. Basset, I believe all is prepared for your trip to your vacation home. I also have pre-arranged for her to also be there." The secretary said, as they took a brief glance around the room.
"Ah, good. I appreciate what you've done for me, and I hope that you get your vacation soon as well. I know your job is stressful, so I'll be sure to put in the good word about how well you've preformed for me." Leon replied, continuing to pack his things.
"Thank you, sir. I'll be on my way. Have a wonderful evening." The secretary said, before exiting.
Leon sighed. He hoped that his secretary was the last person he'd have to interact with for the time being until he met this woman that his friend, Alfred had personally requested Leon to meet. He didn't know much about her, other than the fact that she was a very successful political upstart in Northern Cape Canavral. He didn't even know what she looked like. Apparently he also said that she also wanted to meet Basset to discuss both political and personal matters. He wasn't too sure what to make of it, but he pushed the thought aside as he finished packing.
"Sheesh. No matter where I go, I can't escape people, huh?" Leon said, under his breath.
He shut off the light to his office, and exited the building, entering his car, and requesting to be driven to the airport. He still couldn't help but wonder just who this woman was, but he knew he was sure to figure out soon enough. In the meantime, he opened his computer in the back of the car, and watched the live-feed of the ongoing construction Moon base. He hoped that this vacation would at least be somewhat enjoyable. He needed a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
