The Queendom of Yithaki is a gargantuan, efficient nation, renowned for its state-planned economy, frequent executions, and punitive income tax rates. The hard-nosed, cynical, devout population of 18.194 billion Yithakians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, socially-minded, well-organized government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Sianaria. The average income tax rate is 80.4%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The very strong Yithakian economy, worth a remarkable 1,131 trillion Arrurrus a year, is driven almost entirely by government activity, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is an enormous, deeply entrenched, extremely specialized black market in Woodchip Exports and Information Technology. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. State-owned companies are the norm. Average income is 62,201 Arrurrus, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Jail house rock has been replaced with jail house golden oldies, pregnant women make easy targets, kitchen patrol is dominated by ten-year-old runts, and East Lebatuckese astronauts' favorite game during downtime on the Multinational Space Station is 'I Spy'. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Yithaki's national animal is the ladybird, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to toxic air pollution, and its national religion is Protestantism.

Yithaki is ranked 10,623rd in the world and 1st in Greater Olympus for Most Advanced Public Education, scoring 10,864.32 on the Edu-tellignce® Test Score.
