The United Kingdom of VicStar is a titanic, cultured nation, ruled by Samuel III von VicStar with an even hand, and notable for its irreverence towards religion, punitive income tax rates, and devotion to social welfare. The compassionate, democratic population of 19.603 billion VicStarians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Education, Industry, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Oroszlán. The average income tax rate is 91.3%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient VicStarian economy, worth a remarkable 2,909 trillion reais a year, is led by the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Book Publishing, Tourism, and Cheese Exports. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 148,436 reais, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

A sudden shout of "surprise!" does not herald a party for teachers, the nation is devoted to world peas, the government keeps its thumb on the scales of justice, and tipsy fans frequently invite themselves to the board meetings of sports clubs. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. VicStar's national animal is the lion, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Christianity.

VicStar is ranked 16,046^th in the world and 2^nd in Union Hispanica for Largest Welfare Programs, scoring 3,592.29 on the Safety Net Mesh Density Rating.
