The Raid of Shadow Legend is a mammoth, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Frostbringer with an even hand, and renowned for its daily referendums, multi-spousal wedding ceremonies, and keen interest in outer space. The hard-nosed, democratic, cheerful population of 7.9 billion Shadow Legendians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Industry, Education, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Boney Burbs. The average income tax rate is 93.4%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Shadow Legendian economy, worth a remarkable 2,941 trillion v-bucks a year, is broadly diversified and mostly comprised of black market activity, especially in Information Technology, Arms Manufacturing, Tourism, and Retail. Average income is an amazing 372,329 v-bucks, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.0 times as much as the poorest.

Official government guidance encourages binge behaviors, political shows are fit for purpose, surveillance cameras are banned, and Frostbringer has been nicknamed 'Robomop'. Crime is totally unknown. Shadow Legend's national animal is the emu, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Shadow Legend is ranked 8,216^th in the world and 1^st in Shadow Legend for Most Eco-Friendly Governments, scoring 6,342.31 on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness Index.
