The Occupation Squad of MUFA-19 is a titanic, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its keen interest in outer space, daily referendums, and devotion to social welfare. The cynical population of 10.802 billion MUFA-19ians are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The medium-sized, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Industry. The average income tax rate is 48.1%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient MUFA-19ian economy, worth a remarkable 1,226 trillion guilders a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a large, well-organized, fairly diversified black market in Tourism, Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, and Information Technology. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an impressive 113,500 guilders, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.5 times as much as the poorest.

Scientists take credit every time it rains in Paradise of Nekoria, patch v22.1705 - all developers are now paid for work, thieves claim they're simply working for the tax agency, and economic output is rising as the chronically depressed are persuaded not to burden society. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. MUFA-19's national animal is the crocodile, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

MUFA-19 is ranked 47,353rd in the world and 1st in Paradise of Nekoria for Largest Manufacturing Sector, scoring 21,129.78 on the Gooback-Jerbs Productivity Index.
