The Gangsterist Cabal of MGC is a mammoth, orderly nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape, parental licensing program, and absence of drug laws. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 8.028 billion modern gameplayers are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The medium-sized, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defense, and Public Transport. The average income tax rate is 30.1%.

The strong MGCian economy, worth 366 trillion monies a year, is led by the Retail industry, with major contributions from Uranium Mining, Woodchip Exports, and Basket Weaving. Average income is 45,684 monies, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 4.6 times as much as the poorest.

Charities reserve the right to not help those who go against religious teachings, anyone who sneezes at border crossings is turned away, drunk drivers are sent to rehabilitation paid for by the government, and the nanny industry has had a boom after maternity leave was recently banned. Crime, especially youth-related, is almost non-existent, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. MGC's national animal is the dog or something, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

MGC is ranked 181,455^th in the world and 2^nd in Modern Gameplay Compact for Highest Unexpected Death Rate, scoring 31.78 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
