The Technocapital Senate of Katyo is a mammoth, efficient nation, ruled by General Boris of Hartenvor with an iron fist, and remarkable for its ubiquitous missile silos, strictly enforced bedtime, and punitive income tax rates. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 9.037 billion Katyolans are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The medium-sized, corrupt, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Administration, Law & Order, and Industry. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Myorekka. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 60.1%.

The frighteningly efficient Katyolan economy, worth a remarkable 1,015 trillion Zoradias a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Tourism, and Uranium Mining. Black market activity is frequent. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 112,377 Zoradias, but there is a large disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 486,081 per year while the poor average 16,524, a ratio of 29.4 to 1.

The "daily grind" consists of levelling up in tedious video games, breastfeeding mothers are replacing smokers to loiter outside the workplace, legend has it General Boris of Hartenvor's shower singing echoes through the halls of government, and starving citizens are offered nuclear pasta. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Katyo's national animal is the Jaguar, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Katyo is ranked 305,531st in the world and 75th in Rosaria for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -9.43 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
